Phones › Re: iPhone 5 A Disappointment Compared To Samsung Galaxy S3? by coogar: 4:04pm On Sep 13, 2012
tboy1: Apple failed with this iphone 5 release. An average user will not notice the difference between 5 and 4s, even with the larger screen.
Samsung & Nokia will definitely sell more phones this year
tboy, don't bet on it - besides, 4s was released 12 months ago, most people have more than 12 months on their contracts so this iphone 5 is for consumers on iphone 4(who are about completing their 24 mths contract)! is there a difference between iphone 4 and iphone 5?
I dont know where u got ur info from but i can do most of the things you noted with my S3 and i havent even upgraded to jellybean yet.
jellybean is inferior to ios-6....it's not even debatable!

Mannylex: Guy are u high on crack or something? Galaxy S3, S2, Nexus, tab and all run on substandard software? shocked Or are u referring to the Samsung "blue face" era. SMH for you! You really can't compare an innovative samsung, wiv same of the same apple! Imagine a company producing similar kind of phone for over five years, with no much innovation!. Guy, Samsung is the best thing that has happened to smartphone lovers in a longwhile!
you must be a fool!
how do you compare apple's iOS to what powers samsung? are you typing because you love the colour of your prints or you deliberately want to troll? in terms of speed, power and efficiency, samsung cannot hold a candle to apple in phone making...samsung should have stuck to making tvs!
Phones › Re: iPhone 5 A Disappointment Compared To Samsung Galaxy S3? by coogar: 1:55pm On Sep 13, 2012
Scarpon: Samsung rubber case or not is still the best big screen, memory card slot, radio easy to swap batteries. With iphone 5 the battery is attached to the case.
why do you need to swap batteries? shiny, glossy rubber case does not epitomise class!

4llerbuntu: erm..... ok.

start a thread on friday, pls do ur research and be ready to defend IOS6 VS JELLYBEAN.

just be careful not to spoil ur cred tongue i can assure u it won't be an easy job
why friday? why not now?
you want to compare the siri on ios-6 to google's voice search on jellybean? siri is now integrated with facebook, twitter, etc(you can update your status on those social media now with your voice)....google voice cannot do that! apps can now be opened with your voice on apple, google cannot muster that yet!

then notifications....apple can push notification to the lock screen....
itunes vs google play is no brainer.....apple has a store in almost every country in the world

then you look at the transition of the operating system from one upgrade to the other....apple users can get this easily but the jellybean fans are @ the mercy of their network providers. abeg, apple trumps jelly-bean, its not even funny!

ios 6 compared to jellybean?
only in a parallel universe would jellybean ace the ios-6....
This Falana guy is so ignorant that when he speaks, it lack any iota of logic but all emotion. What has NA to do with government's economic policies. There is no need then for executive. If for strategic economic reasons and long term economic security needs of the country the executive decides to redenominate the naira, who is NA to say NO? Is is a law? We can as well outsource our economic and infact executive decisions to NA. The arguments against this policy is just too emotional, similar to arguments against Soludo's redenomination. We should just grow up in this country.
femi falana is a fool........an obdurate illiterate. he should show us from his wealth of knowledge where he read that currency renomination leads to inflation!
these fools just open their mouths ignorantly and poison the nation with gross misinformation. currency renomination is not a monetary policy...the central bank is just managing currency. everything remains the same and the withdrawal limit is still N500,000. femi falana should leave economics alone and practise his law!

they are paying about $1 billion but the money is nothing to both companies. apple just want to humiliate samsung!

copying larger screen size? really?

jennykadry: True, there is this samsung phone my colleague has at work, it's very wide in size like a TV,it could be the samsung s(whatever they call it) but mehnnnnn is it fat? I couldn't hold it in one hand, as opposed to iPhone that I can type and still hold it with same hand

KingAyo300: I am a very happy iPhone user! maybe a bit of a fanboy I have used 3 previous iPhones I am currently using a 4s (have never had a single problem with it!) was wondering why people felt the iPhone 5 was a disappointment? comparing the Galaxy S2 to the S3 the upgrades were more of a disappointment and the S3 is basically the same as the iPhone 5, the S3 didn't bring any breakthrough technology neither so why all the negativity towards apple
because people often get tired of the same product making the waves year in year out.....generally, people beef continuous success. if one fails all the time, they complain...if one succeeds all the time, they still complain. 12 months is a very short period to come up with another great innovation. there's no significant difrerence between the s2 and the s3 but people expect a massive difference between the 4s and 5......it's pure fuckery!

Bawss1: But seriously, after all that has been announced about the iPhone 5 is there anything that is truly innovative about it?
better camera
more effective operating system
outstanding processor
siri is now integrated with facebook, sports, etc!

not as ground-breaking as the iphone 4s but 12 months is a small period to achieve yet another spine-chilling innovation!

MRbrownJAY: ^^^^^sadly, most women wont understand that, they will continue believe that married men should accept their new baby whale figures.........forgetting that many of their fellow sistas (sometimes as young as 18-19) are willing to fukc these unsatisfied men.

and then sistas like Uju wonder why men such as myself never want to get married?! the answer is right there:"if a gal is not doing what SHE IS SUPPOSE TO DO as a caring partner, then her contract is revoked on the spot....instead of having great women who lower their standard and expect us men to accept that shiit BECAUSE OF MARRIAGE. the only way to keep a woman "on her best behavior" is to never marry her and instead date her forever!!!!"

no offense to all my married brothas/sistas out there!

MRbrownJAY: ^^^ lol, ok in summary what i am trying to tell you is that:

each and every spouse should make sure that they satisfy their partner, and NOT selfishly lower their standard expecting their partner to automatically accept the sore to the eye person that they have become. so if someone settles for a pot bellied beast, then thats all on that person (and her only), but she shouldnt automatically expect that same pot bellied beast to return the favour (in the name of marriage).
i concur....
after all, when a man buys a bmw car. . . . .it might get old and a bit battered after some years but it won't increase in size and turn into a lorry! if i wanted a lorry, i would have gotten one in the first place.

re: your comment about naija women, cut the crap Coogar!
i am telling you what i see/hear. pregnancy is the major reason our youths are jumping into marriage these days. once a woman perceives her spouse is delaying his intentions, she quickly gets pregnant to speed up the process....

The beast in you men, loves the thrill of adventure, having a brush with danger (i.e risk of pregnancy) hence the refusal to put a sheath over it.

Ujujoan: 1. Wear whatver you want to wear, just keep them sp3rms out of her ovaries untill you make an honest woman out of her!
i don't think a man should sleep alone!!

2. If a woman goes out of her way to decieve a man then that's a diffrent thing entirely. But I've known men who begs for a smoth ride only to turn and around and claim 'trapping' when the girl becomes preggers!
why is it different? this is what happens on a daily basis especially with naija women!!

3. If you run out of rubbers, then keep your 'thing' in check . . . you won't die before dawn!
i reiterate - a man should not sleep alone!!

4. This is not about me, but about you men claiming someone trapped you with preggers!
yeah, some men got trapped into marriage via pregnancy! that's standard!!
Now you've got me curious. What sort of reaction / allergy does she have to rubber? How does this er...reaction manifest itself? undecided
people react to rubber na!

Ujujoan: If you don't want a child out of wedluck, then wear a rubber for God's sakes!
my girlfriend reacts to rubber - so what should i do? wear cotton socks?

I refuse to beleive that any man can be 'trapped' into pregnancy . . . except of course he was rap3d at gun-point! It's just a lame excuse most men use.
siddon there -
i have heard of instances where these desperate women inseminated themselves with the used condoms - true story! when a woman is desperate, she would go any length to get her man entrapped!

When you were enjoing the woman without protection, you didn't think she could get pregnant abi? mtcheeeeeeeeeeeeew!
enjoy what? don't be naive!
women have be known to assure the men that all is good in the hood with their daily pills and implants but they are only telling porkies to get impregnated! sometimes - the number of rounds also exceed the number of condoms available.....can you beat your chest you have never had sex without protection with your boyfriend?

Ujujoan: What of the ones cheating on their GFs . . . Or has the GF also turned to a baby whale?
men are mostly adventurous - we want a bit of action or adrenaline rush! a relationship without some side drama can be too monotonous and boring!

It's wrong for you to conclude that all men who cheat are not satisfied at home . . in other words, wives are to blame for ther husband's infidlities!
he said "many men" not "all men". ujujoan, put some yeast in your rice grin

As far as the man wasn't held at gun-point into the marriage, then he had a choice. If he choses to get married, then the least he could do is to stay true to the vows he took. Otherwise, he should stay single for the rest of his life (like you plan to grin)
some men had the choice taken from their hands....a lot of men were trapped by pregnancy....against their will but had no choice cos they wanted no child out of wedlock!!!
