Yomieluv: Is ȋt that there was no Love lost between couple or what? Why should I spend a whole lot on marriage, and later divorce her?.. It baffles me,cos I am a Victim Too,I grew up without the love of a father, cos I lived with my mum. At times I see my father as a stranger to me. I haven't called, or see him this year. Its seriously affecting my life, cos I find it hard to give my heart to a woman. Most people call me sadist, what they don't know is that I am a victim of circumstance. I wish I could live better and flush all this from my memory.
around the time this dude was born...his parents were
busy telling everyone that cared to listen that they
had no regrets but here's the boy now - fully grown
and he's been affected by the lack of a father figure

1025: @coogar,
hazard said he wants to come to manchester united? mikel said same and signed for manchester united. wiseman, if hazard ended up in manchester united, will there be a kagawa transaction? how many players had fergie gone to watch that ended up not coming? hazard has no history of diving and as such, he will not do well in man u.
hazard did not say he wanted to come to man utd. he said he would
play in manchester but undecided whether it's the blue half or red half.
even before then, fergie had gone to dortmund to watch kagawa!

hazard knows he has no chance to get into the united team unless he decides to
play as a defensive midfielder. at chelsea, he has no competition. kalou
and malouda have been released. sturridge has no chance and mata would play
behind torres.

kagawa will end up like obertan, gibson, bebe, diouf, manucho, berbatov and a long list of other who refused to dive. can't u see how young is fast becoming the best player in man u because of his diving abilities. the whole football world shocked the day young dived against his former club. now nani and evra have officially handed over to welbeck and young the diving juju. as good as valencia is, he has refused to dive and as such will soon find himself in the reserve team.
who can outdive didier drogba?
you are a troglodyte!

i dey feel for england because their fate lies in the hands of divers and uefa are well informed in the epl diving credentials of man u who could not beat fc basel in ucl and atlethico bilbao in europa cup.
the same united have won the champions league 3 times.
they played 3 finals of the champions league between 2008 and 2011.
of course, it's howard webb that got united to 3 european finals.

teenagers should not have sex? if they
must have it, the sex must be protected?

and if the protection method fails, abortion
is necessary?

davidylan: Plenty of fatherless kids who even as well-rounded adults still deeply resent being raised in a home without a father.
Would you allow your own 15 yr old daughter to have kids without a father?

Your situation is not a choice but forced on you... if you had a choice to come back in another lifetime i'm sure you would not choose the same route. If you need a bastard to know that you need to better yourself in preparation for having offspring then something is wrong with you.

I've heard the psychobabble before... "my child is a blessing because he/she made me change my life".... hmmm yeah responsible people dont wait until they are pregnant to know to do the right thing.

Ivynwa: The bolded is actually a state of mind, a notion which differs in different societies.
The negation of it in that sentence is because our society look down on a child born out of wedlock. Whoever invented the word "bastard" should be rebuked, who are we humans to certify one another as bastards and genuine? Many great persons were born out of wedlock and went ahead to make a good life for themselves while the genuine others are being cynical towards them by the side.
Branding human beings such names is an erosion of their dignity. I am sure that many persons that were branded that had pains inflicted on their heart and their self confidence mashed on. Some of us in this forum, typing here and reading these may have even been born under such circumstances. Who are we to write them off as below humans?

Marriage is partly a control measure and should never be used as a yardstick of acceptance, rejection and condemnation of humans. As long as children born out of wedlock in our society are considered less humans and girls(whatever happened to the boys involved?) that got impregnated while unmarried are satan's daughters, the young ones will continue to throw away the children they made in such circumstances. Many of them may succumb to injuries while aborting, many may even die from it. Are we making life better that way?
the word was there before people started shagging away without fear or fervour.

Miss EZ: Although Davidylan sounds really harsh, atleast he has the guts to be honest about his thoughts towards this issue. Alot of people are quick to shout against abortion, but when found in the situation are very quick to do it. As for me i think that abortion is wrong, better still avoid fornicating all together to avoid such wahala. It is not easy for single mothers anywhere in the world, not to talk of teenagers who are not ready for such responsibility. The children also suffer especially in a place like Nigeria where he/she will be reminded that they were born out of wedlock.

I agree that teenage mothers should not be treated poorly or inhumanely, but i think the emphasis should be on prevention rather than tolerance of immoral behavior. Once these kids know that they can get away with it, what stops them from having another one. In the united states, you see young girls below 21 already having 2 kids and are on welfare or some kind of assistance.

As for the prolife/prochoice debate. I am prolife, but i also believe that women should be given a choice especially in despoil and molestation cases. It is not easy to have a kid born out of such circumstances because they will always be a reminder. For some the experience alone is traumatic, then to have a child come out of that, double wahala.
a certain jmoore believes the baby must live regardless of
how it was conceived. someone also said it's not an

durobraham: This thread is so hilarious its unbelievable!! Its amazing how those like sagamite &Co who are supposedly pro choice are in here acting like every unplanned/teenage pregnancy must be aborted.
what happens to a womans choice?
seriously u guys, pregnancy is an opportunity to be a mother , what ever the circumstances, its important we help&support those we love & help them make the choices THEY can live with.
Dads; forcing a teenager to have an abortion is a terrible thing, i know u think u will be doing her a favour but have u considered that ur little girl may never get married baby or no baby, she may never go to college or work in a world class firm& then on those nights when she hates her 38 yr old life, she will long for the baby she lost&hate u the more!

davidylan: and you will be responsible for providing that child with a stable family environment? and you will be providing that child with food, clothes and filling the fatherhood void in his/her life? Yeah the baby should live but sleep on a hard cold floor because the father could care less? Yup the baby should live but have no medical insurance, be passed around from available friend to family member when mom has to work? Yup the child should live but literarily have to beg to be fed? Yeah the child should live but be deprived of having clothes to wear, no siblings to play with, no father-figure to shape/guide?

My guy, i once knew a 3 yr old kid who begged me (with tears in her eyes) to be her father... bro that day i realized one thing... it is not by coincidence that we have 2 parents. The Playmaker role would be left to the likes of Iniesta and silva who can also play on the wings if need be(a key reason I feel Silva would get the nod).
Pedro,Fab and Llorente would most likely be the first names on Del Bosque's lips if Spain are chasing the game.
xavi to sit? nah....del bosque would need a double pivot of
expert defensive midfielders...busquets and alonso would sit.
the front four must then include xavi and iniesta...the other

Barca do not make up the major part of the spanish team anymore as only xavi, iniesta and maybe busquets might make the first eleven. So if a spanish team decides to field two barca players then what style of football will they now play and what will you say was their style in the first two matches before the last friendly match.
maybe busquets? i will be surprised if busquets miss one
minute throughout the tournament. he's the most important player in the
spanish team. then you have pique who must play and maybe pedro.

if villa and puyol were fit, they would be starting as well.
but now that they are not in the travelling squad, i expect del bosque
to mix it like luiz aragones did in euro 2008. a bit of pragmatism and tiki-taka.

xavi, iniesta and busquets cannot play any other way. the other players of the
other clubs must adapt to the way the barca midfielders play. if they cannot
they will not make the team.

so we are talking xavi, iniesta, busquets, pique, pedro and fabregas.
that's more than half of the team that would start.
i still expect 70% tiki-taka and 30% pragmatism.

Man United To Offer £22million bid For Modric
The Croatia midfielder has been on Sir Alex Ferguson's wish-list for some time. But although Tottenham value him at around £30m, United are unwilling to pay that much for the 26-year-old playmaker. United believe Spurs' failure to secure Champions League football next season has eased their task of landing Modric. The player tried to force through a move to Chelsea last summer but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy refused to let him leave.

It seems Modric is now ready to submit another transfer request, with Tottenham unlikely to stand in his way for a second summer. However, Spurs will hold out for as much money as they can, and United are certain to have to increase their initial offer.

Ferguson has already signed Japan midfielder Shinji Kagawa from Borussia Dortmund and is keen to add Modric and Everton and England defender Leighton Baines. Ferguson wants Baines to replace left-back Patrice Evra, who has been first choice in the position for the past five seasons but looked *vulnerable last season.

Everton, who are adamant that Baines is not for sale, value the 27-year-old at around £20m - a figure United are not prepared to pay. Although there is always a higher premium on English players, United value Baines at no more than £15m, as his age means he's unlikely to have re-sale value.

Baines, who arrived with the England squad in Krakow on Wednesday ahead of Monday’s Euro 2012 opener against France, said he was “flattered” to have been linked with United. A deal for him is unlikely to be done until England’s participation in the tournament concludes.
