moonraker:when did they just release iPad 2? you really think it's so easy to revolutionize every 8 months? of course not. . . . .however, it's still the most powerful tablet out there. you made me laugh that the eyes wouldn't see the difference between a-5 chip and a-5x chip? really? it's 4 times faster in processing. the eyes and other sensory organs would see the difference. |
SAFO:24 yr old babes that are graduates, that work in big corporations, prettier, sexier and readily available. |
dayokanu:he came 2nd in the world's best player awards several times so you are talking trash. arsenal with their failure ruined henry. had arsenal won couple of european cups in henry's era - henry would have won the gong several times. which brings us back to the messi theory. would messi score 50 goals per season at arsenal with arteta and song as team-mates? come on people, use your brain cells. |
kelz88:even 29 is almost past the expiry date. ![]() |
ritchboy:ronaldo is on the same level at least. henry in his prime also gatecrashed into that level - it's just sad he never enjoyed the supporting cast messi have right now @ arsenal. by the time henry moved to barca, he had lost 2 yards of pace and he wasn't even played centrally in the attack. van nistelrooy was a pure goal scorer - i would trust ruud's finishing more than messi everyday of the week. ruud's 14-goal record in the champions league remains unbroken since 2003. so yes. . . .there have been players in messi's level but the supporting cast was missing. |
dayokanu:no 32 yr old nigerian man in 83 would outsprint an 18 yr old chic unless the girl is crippled/paraplegic combined. men in that era paid no attention to their weight, they drank alcohol more than men of nowadays and they never attended any gym to keep fit. like i said, there was a degree of consent. kelz88:you make sense but there are still doubts. the op should come out clean and give a blow by blow account of what transpired that fateful night. for her case to stick, she must convince the authorities that she was r@ped. if she cannot convince me, she's on a long trip. i want this man caught just like you do but the true story must be told. the reason why most r@pists walk free from court is because of the cock n bull stories the victims often tell. they sometimes hide their own culpability and it makes the story look so fake. a good defense lawyer would then find flaws in the story and that is enough for the case to be thrown out. the moment the judge perceives the victim has lied about her story, the case gets dismissed. |
kelz88:and the lady just sat there when he could have locked herself in when the guy came down. abeg. . . . .naija babes @ 18 are not that silly. this is not a thriller from hollywood where you have brainless american teenagers. there was a certain degree of co-operation before the guy turned himself into a depraved animal. he's still a r@pist but i like when stories are told truthfully. the poster is being economical with the truth. |
ritchboy:story. . . . like ronaldo did after scoring 42 goals in 07/08? like van nistelrooy did after scoring 44 odd goals in 02/03? like henry did after scoring 39 goals in arsenal's invincible season? your stupidity in voltage would solve all the electricity problems in 3rd world countries. Funny how the game that prompted this idiotic debate was not even played in La Liga/Copa Del Rey. Messi has scored 12 goals in just 7 UCL games and mentally handicapped people are asking if he can score in EPL, what a joke!he would score in the premier league - who said he wouldn't. even odemwingie is scoring @ west brom but you have to be born silly to think messi would score 200+ goals over 5 seasons in england. look at the history of top scorers in england. they don't pull up such numbers. not even ronaldo could match his stellar performance of 07/08 a season later. |
dayokanu:common sense dictates an 18 yr old babe would run faster than a 32 yr old pot-bellied man! she could have prevented what happened. the r@pist had no weapon or whatever. she should come out and say she had allowed some bit of romance but the guy later took advantage of the situation. that type of story is acceptable and i accept a woman's no should be no. . . . .but for her to say they were just in the car without any undercurrent and this man just pounced on her is a white lie. |
dayokanu:so he was driving and he parked. . . .he came down, forced the babe to come down. and then he brutally shred her clothes into bits and he r@ped her right? |
mcnepow:there's nothing else to read. her relationship is over - she did not say who was the guilty party - maybe she cheated, maybe she deceived or even lied on what she shouldn't have lied about. then again, 10 yrs relationship |
aleroo:the key is not to put yourself in a position to be rejected. do what he likes at all times. simples! |
dayokanu:ronaldo has done it for man utd. . . .messi hasn't done it outside barcelona., cristiano did it with wes brown, oshea, immature nani, underrated carrick and an old giggsy/scholes. ronaldo is doing it again with lass, ozil, higuain and di maria. where has messi excelled without xavi and iniesta? |
dayokanu: dayokanu:your stupidity won't even let you be coherent. . . .who asked the question above? raul was a club icon. . . . .nurtured from the academy and was earning mad pay.raul earned more wages than zidane even though zidane's transfer fees was world's most expensive. the money real madrid paid did not go to zidane - it went to his former employers. Seriously Are you ok?i should ask if you are okay. If Lampard earned more money then shouldnt they by your logic be the penalty takers? Or whats your point?firstly, lampard isn't even a starter for chelsea these days - the hierarchy should change - lampard now belongs to the old guard. secondly, torres is the biggest salary earner in chelsea now since he was bought last year. torres is the 3rd highest earner in the world behind only ronaldo and messi. . . . . .below is the updated list in 2011 http://www.futebolfinance.com/os-100-maiores-salarios-de-jogadores-de-futebol-2011 mr dayokanu, you have been schooled again! in 2001, raul's salary: $5.76m per annum. in 2001, zidane's salary: $5.1m per annum. http://www.forbes.com/2001/04/10/0410gonzalez.html http://www.forbes.com/2001/07/09/0709zizou.html |
dayokanu:he wasn't, gerrard was. torres was earning £70k per week(2007) when gerrard was on £120k and carragher was on £100k. this is 2009. . . . http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/picturegalleries/5984133/Top-10-Premier-League-wage-earners-in-pictures.html?image=5 Zidane was the most expensive yet doesnt take penalties for madridraul was a club icon. . . . .nurtured from the academy and was earning mad pay. in 97, Real Madrid's Raul has signed to stay at the club for another five years with a contract that makes him the best-paid player in the world. The 19-year-old forward will now reportedly earn pounds 1.25m per season. If another club wants to buy the Spanish international, they will have to pay pounds 25.6m to Real. "It's a good contract," Raul, who received other offers, said. "There are some things more important than money. Maybe I lost money continuing with Real, but I wanted to stay because I became a player and a person here." http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football-rauls-salary-soars-at-real-1266333.html Does Lampard earn more than Terry, Sheva, Ballack at Chelseathe english players @ chelsea earned more than the foreigners. particularly lampard and terry. Andy Carrol is the most expensive in Liverpool not Charlie Adams nor Dirk Kuytgerrard is! |
aleroo:better go back to him before it's too late. you have been with this dude for a decade - in your formative years. i doubt you can ever find happiness in another guy - 10 yrs is too long a time to adjust and any sane man won't risk marriage with you knowing you still communicate with this dude. swallow your pride and move back to him. |
dayokanu:so argentina should be compared to lecce, freiburg and murcia? the same argentina that boast of tevez, higuain, mascherano, cambiasso, milito should be compared to motherwell and nancy? you are brainless! |
dayokanu:torres isn't the most expensive player in liverpool, gerrard is. transfer fees aside, gerrard earned more money than torres. same as lampard @ chelsea. . . . .same as hierro/raul in real madrid. rio ferdinand is a defender - defenders rarely take pens. leverkusen is a useless club, they shouldn't even be in this discussion. in this era of prima donna players, the most expensive players are the leaders/penalty takers - it even helps more when these players are strikers. |
BlueDiva:villas-boas was scared too. . . . . .ancellotti was scared too. tell me another story. the most expensive players in the squad need their egos massaged. you have to make them feel special. . . . |
dayokanu:you're a troglodyte. . . . fernando torres is the most expensive player in chelsea but he does not command the respect of the management. he might be the costliest player in england but he's not even the biggest player in his club - what a travesty! in a sane world, torres should be the designated penalty taker. rooney takes em pens in man utd - he's the most expensive. tevez takes the pens in man city - he's the most expensive. van persie takes the pens in arsenal - he's the most expensive messi for barca - ronaldo for real madrid - and so on and so forth. if the management @ chelsea didn't deem it fit to make torres the designated taker from the onset, why would he then play the 2nd fiddle. i wouldn't take the penalty too. it would be an insult to my person if the only time i am allowed to take penalties is when the designated taker does not feel like taking it. as the most expensive player in england, i should be getting the first option to every thing. chelsea should sort their management! |
dayokanu:torres simply followed the order of the new manager. nando said di matteo had already told them before the game that mata gets to shoot from the penalty spot. mata said: "I asked him if he wanted to take it because he provoked [won] the penalty," Mata said. "He said: 'I'm not first on the list to shoot,' so that's what happened. It was because he forced the penalty and I gave him the chance. Robbie [Di Matteo, the interim manager] put a paper with who shoots penalties and that was it." |
that's why my husband and I plan on doing both, one of us will be employed, the other one run a business. I think it's safer that way. We'll secure a fall back plan here if it doesn't work in naija anyway. Never worked there, though, pls don't scare me just yet ![]() as for the heat, it is actually one of the reason why I want to move, I just love it
you love the heat in lagos? it's nothing like the summer in the west.the humidity in lagos can be life threatening. denzel2009:of course! |
denzel2009:air conditioning @ home, in the car and @ work. what's the problem? |
jay bee:even consensual sex is awkward at the back of the car, never mind r@ping someone in the middle of the road. the op should be arrested for taking nairaland for a ride with this cock and bull story. |
@coogar, yes, it's not easy to get something accurate. I will be planning a trip shortly before relocating to confirm the essential info, but that won't be before some other things are in place (jobs, savings etc.)
i think the income is the most important aspect in nigeria - once that is sorted, everything else falls into place. but then, get a job or be an entrepreneur? there's no job security in nigeria - they fire and hire at will. . . . .employees are treated like shyte. jay bee:have u worked in naija b4? |
Dyt:but seriously, read the story again. she was pushed to the ground and brutally r@ped. which ground? which venue? out in the open or in an uncompleted building? the dude was alone and he drove. . . . .so how did this ish happen? |
ritchboy:thunder faya your mouth. how dare you talk to my bestest gooner friend like that? are you insane? ![]() |
sounds like a cooked up story. . . . . how can one r@pe in a car? the car has to be on the road somewhere and if she had screamed, someone somewhere would have heard. |
i am thinking of relocating too. . . . .but i get different prices from different people concerning rent, utilities, car maintenance, etc. i would be keeping an eye on this thread though. |
debosky:£11m according to guardian sports. i am beginning to think arsene wenger now peddle drugs - where is this money coming from? |
ritchboy:use your common sense for once. . . . how many times in van persie's long career has he scored 25 league goals in one season? the difference is messi keeps averaging 40 goals per season @ barcelona - that will not be possible in the premier league. . . . .we play so many games without winter breaks in england and messi would have to bring his supporting cast with him to england to reach this dizzying height. coded guy:messi is a brilliant player - no one would take that from him. however, the fact remains he's 50 times poorer when he plays for argentina. . . .and argentina have good players in their midst. Messi did not start scoring these obsene amount of goals in the La liga from his first season, but now does it for fun. If he comes to the EPL and joins a top team, he will acclamatise to the play and am sure in less than 2 seasons he will produce the kinda things we never saw b4 without Xavi and Iniesta. He did not have them when he scored a hat trick for the NT recently.in his first few seasons @ barcelona, he was a winger under rijkaard. etoo was the centre forward and dinho was on the left. messi is a top player without doubt but i rarely doubt he would score 50 goals in one season in the premier league. the fatigue here is horrible. Imagine Maradona playing in the EPL when he crucified 6 English players in eleven seconds and the ball was in the netmaradona actually proved he can do it in any team and win them titles. messi is yet to do that. if messi can steer argentina to win the world cup in 2014, he would be the bestest player that has ever played the game. |
