Eddy, are you forgetting the 'Busby Babes' Manure don get history tay tay, they've only recently started selling their Papa's legacy, awon omo arungun olosi gbogbo grin
They've had 2 major eras of domination in the history of English football, the Busby era and the Fergie era.
We might have been at par in terms of First Division titles (not PL) but they were ahead in terms of European and world recognition having won the Champion's cup.
but arsenal never relegated once in their history. your history book missed that while trying to lie that arsenal were poor before wenger.
it's a white elephant lie. arsenal weren't poor. a poor club would not make a british transfer record of £7.5m to buy dennis bergkamp in 1995.

you idiotically stated united have started selling their legacy in recent times - what a disgraceful comment from the lips of duduface.
matter of fact, the last 5 seasons have been united's most successful era in their entire history.
4 league titles in 5 seasons + 3 champions league final in 4 seasons. do you know any other era better than the current one?
answers on a postcard, please!!!!

Are you insane? Did Wiltord, Vieira and Pires leave last season? cheesy
they didn't leave last season because wenger knew exactly when to let those ones go.
at chelsea, they are still hugging past glory and still attached to their past. see as many of them still sing jose's song like tools.
united have giggs n scholes in their squad but fergie often play without them in big games and united still win convincingly. chelsea cannot do that without their old fowls.

Who says these players have lost hunger? How many midfielders in the league have outscored Lampard? How come DD's hunger to win is still shining through?
have they not? when was the last time you saw chelsea in the 5th position. have arsenal, tottenham and city ever finished above chelsea since the roman era?
that lampard is chelsea's top scorer says a lot about drogba and co. no midfielder has outscored lampard cos other teams often task their strikers with the role of putting penalty in the box. arsenal(van persie), united(rooney), city(balotelli), tottenham(adebayor), chelsea(lampard).
who is the odd one out, dork debo? grin

This argument does not wash - the so called drop in quality is only as a result of a manger trying to fit square pegs into round holes. Trying to play a high line with Terry that  has never been the fastest of defenders is ludicrous.
so trying to play a high line is the reason didier drogba and nando torres have a total goals of 5 league goals between them in 2000+ mins league footie?
the highline is also the reason sturridge and malouda have a total of 4 league assists between them in 2100 league minutes?

debosky, if idiocy was an academic degree, you would be a professor. cheesy grin

It is not as easy as u think. In loading the OS am stucked permanently in re-connecting to JVM.i have tried all d tweaks i know, but to no availed
what tool are you using to achieve this?

i would advise you get the desktop manager from the official black berry website.
get that downloaded on your system and connect your phone to your laptop with a usb. . . . .then just click restore.
it would back up your data and restore your fone back to factory settings.

yes, i know it sometimes get stuck in the middle but it's mainly because of slow internet connection.
find somewhere that has got broadband connection to do this - it's a common problem when the speed is slow.
try it and your phone would be back to normal.

Coogar, Once again you are awesome, your explanation is perfect. I will go 4 BB9700.
If I have any probls I will always get back to you. I have a very terrible experience with BB storm.
Many thanks, Godblessu.
bb storm was good whien it came out but it lost out after 2010.
connection speed upgraded from 3g to 3.5g and the fact that the storm has no wi-fi made it inferior to the other fones then.
it's a shyte fone, avoid it. storm 2 was a bit better but then it's about style and affordability.

I am criticising (not nailing grin) AVB because he spent that money WITHOUT losing the best quality players in his squad. Even if we accept the smaller figure of £40m, what calibre of players did AVB lose from his side compared to Wenger?
he's better off losing that quality completely rather than having to do with players who have lost all interest and hunger in winning titles.
what quality would vieira, pires, wiltord and lauren bring to the current arsenal side if they were still there?

villas-boas didn't lose the best quality players but those quality players have all gone past their expiry date.
it's the same ish. the drop in quality is obvious because they have all seen better days.

^^ Which of your links should we believe now?
You gave us a link for 13m, This one for 17.5, and earlier you stated that he was signed for 20m
as reyes did not fulfil his contract at arsenal, anything could have happened to the final fee wenger paid.
remember reyes was used as a part-exchange for baptista later and contracts were torn and remade so the actual amount is debatable
but the original deal was worth between £17m - £20 depending on who you want to believe. the true details of any transfer deal is hazy but it gives you an idea.

but even at £17m, his deal was still more than arshavin's(your transfer record at the emirates). grin

dayokanu:
Then you should ask yourself whats wrong with your bible the Guardian who called Arshavin the club record transfer
i told you they just sensitized the headline.
£15m was the highest initial fee arsenal have ever taken from a transfer. . . .which was arshavin's deal! zenit did not allow wenger to pay in parts.

nasri's transfer was £15.8m but arsenal were allowed to pay that in parts and the initial fee arsenal paid was not up to £15m.
eventually, arsenal still paid £15.8m which was £0.8m more than arshavin's deal that is your transfer record.

according to mirko barisic(dinamo zagreb's president), eduardo's transfer was £16m
so how can arshavin be the record transfer fee @ arsenal?

So whats your revised transfer fee for Reyes,  Not only Dayokanu says Arshavin was the record transfer, Guardian also agree
except that the same guardian reported nasri's transfer fee was £15.8m.
that is £0.8m more than your record transfer fee for arsenal.

at this juncture, i am sure you have lost your ability to count. grin

Its not about the age but about the peak

So what tells you Torres is not past his peak
because a season in chelsea where everyone's general performance has dwindled wouldn't be a true test of his ability.

torres hasn't peaked - he just plays in a shitty team.

Schweinsteiger is the soul of the Bayern team and losing him mid season was a huge blow.

When we roughshod the EPL table topper, Robben wasnt on the field, When we humiliated Manure in Munich in 2010 Robben didnt play

this is dimwittery at it's very best.

even after my simplification, the logic still flew over your head.
i said villas-boas inherited too many players who were past their peak and have seen better days in football.
drogba, lampard, terry, malouda, anelka, cashley, etc can never be the way they were 3-5 seasons ago when they were at their peak.
is that too much to understand? . . . .it does not matter what age. . . . . when a player is past his peak, his form suffers.

terry is now a liability at 33 but you still see javier zanetti firing his cylinders at the age of 38. they are both defenders of big teams.
sol campbell became utter shyte at 36 but maldini's performance did not drop one jot at 39 when he won champions league for milan and the euro supercup.
so what has age gotta do with it? the peak is the crucial factor. michael owen peaked at 21, di natale did not peak until 30+ so we are talking about 9 yrs difference in their respective peaks.

afrodoc, where were you when intelligence was being distributed in heaven? grin cheesy

i don't sell blackberry phones. . . .but i know how they work.

bb 9000 is way too inferior to bb 9700.

the build quality of the 9700 is better. it's lighter, smaller and more technologically advanced than the 9000.
bold 9000 comes with 2 mega-pixel camera and the 9700 comes with 3.2 mega-pixel.

the screen of 9000 is 480 X 320 whilst the 9700 is 480 X 360.
the screen of the 9700 is sparkling and clearer. . . .the battery life of 9700 is much much better than the 9000.

you are a nanny goat. . . . .
we are saying villas-boas inherited an old squad, you are saying age doesn't matter.
of course, age as a number is nothing but when these players actually peaked.

are you telling me terry, lampard, drogba, anelka, malouda are still yet to hit their peak or they have past their expiry date?
that is the critical issue. if the age ish is ambiguous to you, i would rephrase. . . .
villas-boas inherited players who are obviously past their peaks. . . . i am sure that would make sense to your afrodoc head.
