But the dividend of the funds are beautiful in the eyes and you would continue supporting because you can see what your money has done. My Parish has a school, hospital, home for the homeless, other good structures and finally my parish is a missionary parish in Lagos, we support other catholic church in Africa. SMA
Just as how British people would pay tax because you can account for it not like paying to Nigeria. I support Bazaar because it makes more fund to help the helpless. |

And we are resolute about it.[/quote]What you wrote is a shame, the former Archbishop and Cardinal of Lagos was chosen from Oyo Diocese, the present Archbishop was a bishop in Abeokuta diocese. The pope can choose from wherever he wants.
Well, their is politics in everything in life, but from history I am certain the Pope would not bend to your protest. The best you people can do is to excommunicate yourselves and start a new church just like the English did.
Christains of old had leaders that were not indegines and in religion everyone is supposed to be seen as one irrespective of your background and tribe. We all know Mbaise are very proud people and would always choose their own over others (my former VC Onwuliri may his soul rest in peace is a perfect example. He practically dashes admission to his people when VC list comes out) but this is a Catholic (universal) church for all and your bigoted sentiment wouldn't win you any external support. |

I feel the Fulani's must start accepting ranching, because whether they like it or not the population of Nigeria would continue increasing meaning that the pressure on land usage would increase and conflicts would also increase. For the betterment of everyone, ranching should be introduced like how it is obtainable in Civilised nation.
Secondly, I feel this school encroaching is being blown out of proportion. I served at Ilasa Ekiti and the Fulani guys usually bring their herds of cattle to feed in the school compound and their was no altercation between anybody.
Lastly, cattle business is a private one, I don't support the grazing right to those herdsmen. They should buy landed properties like every other legitimate business. |

Good day!! As I said earlier on, you have to factor the local conditions and peculiarities of a place before you give a suggestion that is not feasible. What would work in USA might not work in Nigeria same as what would work in Lagos might not work in Owerri. Their is no humour in your post, and I responded likewise to clear off the ignorance and lack of practicality from your unworkable idea wrt to Owerri. Even if I choose to work with your clueless suggestion, it would cost me more than 200 times back then as an undergraduate. If the clock were to be rewind, I would choose the same action but this time, I would ask from a fellow student and I would pay him/her back immediately we are on campus. Mind you, any time I visit Owerri Town, I buy Orange alot in other to support that little gesture of kindness I received. |

For your Information Mr know-all, FUTO is located far away from the main town. I have never begged publicly until June 7 2012 and I pray never to experience such a thing again. Finally you ended your useless and stupid reply by saying "simple logic" without your dead and congealed brain having a clue of the peculiarities of my situation. Honestly, I couldn't beg my fellow students o. I begged adults and some drivers and non gave me a kobo, it was a woman selling Orange that gave me 100 Naira for my transport.

Benbisco: Very sad story indeed.
Not making a case for the wife but from the story, permit me to say that she probably got lonely and was tempted to do what she did.
After marriage in 1985, the man's job kept taking him away from home from 1986 to 1997. 11yrs. And he tried to visit Lagos (where the young wife is) twice a month. Haba!
Still not making a case for her and also not saying the man should not have worked o but this idea of couples staying apart has never been appealing to me. No be everybody fit hold body o.
Infact this DNA testing for Visa application has really opened some cans of worm.
A woman was collecting money for upkeep from a man she had a child for who did not marry her. He was at this time married and staying in the UK with his wife & kids but this other lady kept asking for money. His official wife got irritated by the continuous demands and suggested the child (now a teenager) comes over to join the other kids and she would care for him.
When e reach time for DNA screening, the result showed that the boy was not his child. The man had been spending on someone else's child. Na there story end. Please keep quiet. How can a sane person defend such a woman. sorry my bad you b woman too. Op, I feel you should give something no matter how small to the other children and give the majority to your biological child. Find a way to make sure that your legacy carries a direct link under your family tree. |

She too she is well sound in christian doctrine , I don't know the reason she decided to go wayward like this. Hmmm when everything is over it will take me a very long time before I move into any relationship. I will focus on my career and some important things. I have read your post and this is my deduction. 1. Your lady is a liberal Christian, she acts Godly around you to mimic your personality. 2. O yes, she is having steamy hot sex with the other guy. A lady or a guy won't travel to another state to be counting the plate at his house. 3. You put so much trust in her and she knows 4. She knows your mumu button and trust me, she is pressing(manipulating) it well. 5. You most likely would remain with her because you've got no alternative. Way forward, if you can't handle such deceit, you better end the relationship but I think you wouldn't because she would blackmail you emotionally with tears and she would promise you of changing then use your religious way as a trap for you (forgive those who wrong you so that GOD would forgive you). You would succumb and everything would go back to normal then two month she would travel again and the cycle would start all over. BE SMART |

Even if you don't find evidence, the truth is that this economy has pushed many "good" women into prostitute behaviors. At least you have seen the truth, whereas I know many people who have never known and are still referring to their wife as holy holy. If you truly love her, you would not allow her to continue to be free to engage in immoral behavior. You would give her an option to be a married woman and work with you for financial prosperity. Na waoh, bad wicked advice. Would you give your immediate younger brother such an advise. |

From markurdi the state capital to any other corner of Benue state the usefulness of wheelbarrows cannot be over emphasised. This singular action should be used to teach our children in schools on the need for various state government to prioritise their peoples need. An agrarian state. A state with rich history, present and future tied to farming and somebody say Wheelbarrows are not Key to people of that state? Common!!! In the 80s and even up till the millennium, wheelbarrows are seen in motor parks in Markurdi ready to convey peoples loads as the they come of the Taxis in which they travelled in the whole of Benue. Wheelbarrows are a classic part of the Benue story and history and for no amount of mockery should any Benue indegien or one who was born and grew up in Benue be ashamed of wheelbarrows. I expected the BNSG to beat it's chest in pride and buy more to help the Benue people. I am not from Benue but Benue gave me the honour and privilege to be born in Makurdi as approved by God and I had a great childhood. Once a wheelbarrow with load takes a turn around the corner and into any street, kids begin to look out for their mothers returning from a trip or the market in excitement. Shame on people from Benue pretending not to know the history of Benue and wheelbarrows. Country of fake life and pretence. Has any one of you gone out to get the market price for a single wheelbarrow lately? Talk is cheap. Trash! Something is really wrong with some persons. |
