Without choosing sides, this is part of the politics of Nigeria. Do you think ordinary citizens would have the time and resource to sponsor such a bill. This is a war between him and the governor and I am sure that both would not continue in their capacities after the general election of 2019.

I feel the Fulani's must start accepting ranching, because whether they like it or not the population of Nigeria would continue increasing meaning that the pressure on land usage would increase and conflicts would also increase. For the betterment of everyone, ranching should be introduced like how it is obtainable in Civilised nation.

Secondly, I feel this school encroaching is being blown out of proportion. I served at Ilasa Ekiti and the Fulani guys usually bring their herds of cattle to feed in the school compound and their was no altercation between anybody.

Lastly, cattle business is a private one, I don't support the grazing right to those herdsmen. They should buy landed properties like every other legitimate business.

Igbos are not Jews and have never being I think this speculation started as a result of Christianity and similarities between some part of the both cultures.

As I said earlier on, you have to factor the local conditions and peculiarities of a place before you give a suggestion that is not feasible. What would work in USA might not work in Nigeria same as what would work in Lagos might not work in Owerri. Their is no humour in your post, and I responded likewise to clear off the ignorance and lack of practicality from your unworkable idea wrt to Owerri.

Even if I choose to work with your clueless suggestion, it would cost me more than 200 times back then as an undergraduate. If the clock were to be rewind, I would choose the same action but this time, I would ask from a fellow student and I would pay him/her back immediately we are on campus.
