pocohantas: SUFFERHEAD marketer. Get very comfortable shoes and socks, you will need it.
You are a variant of contract staff. Salary range between N(20,000-50,000). Maybe some banks pay more. Hardly ever seen one/any.
-Your job function is retail marketing, drive savings deposits and e-banking channels. I doubt DSAs do risk assets, though they can ask you to bring any you see, for the sake of the branch paying you salary.
-You will have number of accounts target. Daily/weekly/monthly. You will also have deposit targets. Something like, 3accts a day, 15/week, 60/month. 5-10m deposit a month. You mustn't do all, 50% and above can keep you afloat.
- You might be lucky to get someone that will give you huge deposits which would make you earn big in commissions. If not, you have to start from the scratch to mobilize deposits. You go waka ehn, all the market people go know you.
- You get your pay (and commissions), leave allowance, pension, christmas rice/groundnut oil. Not so sure of their package, but nothing special.
- You'll be restricted on types of accts to open. Leave some for the bigger people (core staff).
- You will grow to be a very angry somebody when you see the bank employing core staff that are your mates and some your junior. You can't escape this feeling of anger o.
- You will start showing your anger, nagging over the poor treatment and sometimes acts of rebellion/insubordination.
- Maybe you will be an extraordinary DSA and your bank will try to convert you. It is not because they like you too much, paying you as a core staff is cheaper than your commission at that point.
I understand the country is hard, but if I have to be a banker- core staff or nothing. Know what you are getting into. E hard o.
Have a nice day. This reply is too informed, to have not come from experience. And I know what I'm talking about... So was it FBN or ECO? |

I doubt I'd break up smtng legit like ur relationship over the phone. Think about it, in 2 years time, would you regret not being with her because of a misunderstood whatsapp Text?
Your answer would determine how you should proceed. This is the only thing I've read that makes sense. Call her brah and forget all those bitter lonely nairalanders welcoming you to Singlehood. From your write-up, I can tell she's a KEEPER. keep her bro, even if it cost you your pride.... F**k pride... And get her back. |

slaughteringNG: Criminals and illiteracy quotes side by side. When Econet pack out of Nigeria it left Nigeria in 75 million dollar debt when Zayn pack out of Nigeria they left Nigeria in 25 million US dollar debt when etisalat packed out of Nigeria left Nigeria 120 million US dollar debt. MTN is owing more than 1.2 billion US dollar. So if they check out of Nigeria is your mother and father salary which will be used to pay their debt. Look at Elijah Steel plant look at ear Nigeria look nitel we are still paid the debt for this countries plus the 9.6 billion US dollar debt not more than 2 weeks ago. Your mother's and father salaries including their pensions will be used to pay back Nigeria debt . The government of Nigeria is not telling the people the truth a lot of this South African companies are in massive debt in Nigeria.. I know you are trying to make a very valid point. And as much as I hate to admit it, to reciprocate the actions of few ignorant SAs is quiet idiotic. I have to offer a correction on your statement none the less. "Those SA companies didn't leave Nigeria in debt, but with a debt." It's easy to confuse this, I know. But for the sake of correctness, and that someone equally ignorant might not fly with this error. Yours Sincerely, Fellow Pissed Citizen. |

Barondenigeria: You clearly have no formal education! If you had the slightest idea of basic economics, you would understand that a CBN restriction on forex for food importers will lead these importers to the black market where they would buy the dollar at higher rates. That cost will be shifted to we the consumers and eventually you'll have a "commodity price inflation".
Many of you Buharists are fantastically dull! Many of you Buharists are fantastically dull!Perfect Response. A Buhari that could not pass his SSCE wants to micromanage complex macroeconomic monetary policies. Fantastically dull indeed. |

Chapter 2019:
Verse 8 Hath thou not been forewarned? That Ye must never again allow the mantle of leadership fall into the hands of the wicked. Didst thou not refused to hearken to my words? Verse 9 I sent my servants amongst thee to declare my message: repent, repent from thy foolish ways for Election day is at hand.
Verse 10 - 11 That evil men prowl, seeking for whom to devour. And righteous men must raise up their PVC; march forth to their Polling Units; and rescue Our Nation from the clutches of Ruthless Cabals threatening us with body-bags, and Sinister Oppositions conniving to reclaim power by fire and blood.
Verse 12 For what shall it profit a man to climb out of a pit of fermented egusi-sh*t, and jump into a pool of perfumed okro-sh*t.
Verse 13 So hath some men of this nation choosen to drink expired piss, when there are fresh milk and honey and wine and water to quench their everlasting thirst.
Verse 14 Faithless men so Blinded by Fear and Hate, would readily Forsake the Light and cast their Votes to perpetuate Darkness.
Verse 15 Verily verily I say unto thee, except you Vote wisely on February the 16th, you will never see the Nigeria of your dreams.
Verse 16 As for me and my house, we will Vote Moghalu (YPP).

I stumbled on this article while researching on something else and thought it wise to share: Africa’s True Name
Have you ever stopped to wonder: what is in a name?
If words’ sound power, and there is knowledge in power, then it stands to reason that by gaining knowledge of the origin and perceived meaning of a word, one surely garners more knowledge about that particular word; right?
Well, that is the stance I undertook when pondering the name of our beautifully majestic continent. The cradle of civilization; presently referred to as the continent of ‘Africa’ – but is this the name our ancestors of old used when referring to our motherland? Or have we as descendents of this magnificent continent not only been robbed of our inherent way of life (thanks to colonization) but been robbed of the knowledge of our motherlands’ true name.
My quest to answer these questions was not an ardious one (all thanks due to the wonders of technology and 'Google'!!) ...
I simply typed in the phrase: ‘Africa’s true name’; low and behold, my inherent feelings that this ‘Africa’ is not the true name of my beloved homeland struck!
The name ‘Africa’ stems from the time when the Roman Empire took occupation of the majority of the continent. As is the practice in these type war times, the “Romans sought to completely disconnect the indigenous Africans with their culture, deities, and knowledge. This could only be successfully done by renaming the all archetypical icons, thereby disconnecting the significance, meaning, and sacredness from any specific archetype."
Read more about the Greek and Roman influence on Africa's etymology. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Africa#Etymology]
As I stumbled across quite a few forums and discussions about this very matter, it became clear that there is a very present and real debate on the go about the origin of our continent’s name, and what I found is that our motherland’s true name is: Alkebulan.
According to the following resource: Kemetic History of Afrika ; the definition of Alkebulan is as follows: “The ancient name of Africa was Alkebulan. Alkebu-lan "mother of mankind" or "garden of eden".
Alkebulan is the oldest and the only word of indigenous origin. It was used by the Moors, Nubians, Numidians, Khart-Haddans (Carthagenians), and Ethiopians.
Africa, the current misnomer adopted by almost everyone today, was given to this continent by the ancient Greeks and Romans. "
Perhaps in line with this new found knowledge, we should boldly go forward as ‘Alkebulanites’; true and sincere, moving to the beat of our own ancient drums. [source] https://www.drivesouthafrica.co.za/blog/africas-true-name/[/source]

FortifiedCity:

stories like this make me wanna cry. Take my word the way you want. I don't care.
I have tried to imagine how peaceful the world would have been if radical Islamism didn't exist. Check out all the countries that are not receptive of such ideas, they are some of the most peaceful, wealthiest and most productive countries on the planet. It's either they are killing to satisfy whom they worship or they are being used by politicians to cause instability in the world.
In the case of bokoharam, it started when OBJ was President but it didn't pose much of a threat until your current President started supporting and probably funding them. If it wasn't that way, why on earth would bokoharam appoint him as a mediator during GEJ's regime.
Now they have grown so big and even subtly funded with tax payers money in exchange for abductees. This is happening when bokoharam ran out of funds.
I will get to a position of paramount authority someday, and all I'll do is to make idiots who have put this country in a mess pay dearly with their lives and that of their children.
This country and the entire world means so much to me; I am the master for crying out loud.
They will pay! So help me O God the creator. You are not alone. One day, very soon, we will make them pay. And their offspring will learn the meaning of the 'sins of thy father' |

I've been thinking of trying Grofin for a while now, even did some pre-qualification test or so, and registered. But have not quite gone forward out of doubt. I have an existing biz I plan to expand. Have you accessed loans from them? If yes, pls put me through on how you did. |
