Exactly, in Judges chapter 6 when Gideon destroyed the altar of Baal and the Baal worshippers came to accost him. Gideon's father, Joash told them that Baal should be able to defend himself if he was truly God. From that point on, Gideon started bearing the name 'Jerubbaal'. Why can't Yahweh and Allah do the same in the real world?

You really should search the meaning of the word "wealth".

There's no distinction between adaptation and evolution. You shouldn't try redefine well understood scientific terms.

Anyway, the fossil evidence clearly shows the emergence of new species that never existed before ie: There are no rabbits in Devonian rock. Not that there are statistically fewer rabbits, there are absolutely zero.

Seriously, if you can disprove evolution, quickly publish your paper and collect your Templeton prize. Don't miss this opportunity to make a name for yourself.

It's really not subject to debate. No respectable scientist in the concerned field does so. Your logic is extremely flawed, does the fact that some people debate that the earth is flat mean that there isn't a wealth of evidence that it is spherical?

I agree that evolution and deism are compatible but evolution is the antithesis of intelligent design.

Maybe God killed himself to create the Universe? I think they call that pandeism. An interesting concept in my opinion, Scott Adams, maker of the newspaper cartoon, Dilbert wrote about in his piece, God's Debris. The guy believes that self-destruction is the only worthwhile challenge for an omnipotent being, causing God to kill himself with our Universe being a byproduct.

Obviously, this is very unlikely due to argument of God being unnecessary which I always make but it is still a nice concept to consider.

How can one post contain do many misconceptions about atheism from someone who claims to be a former atheist?

It seriously bugs me when people criticize others for trying to hold beliefs that are backed up by evidence. When was the last time a technological breakthrough was made through supernatural means rather than rigorous scientific research? When was the last time that a scientific explanation of a phenomenon was replaced by a supernatural one? Why is it always the other round?

I get if you don't want to be an atheist or if you dislike atheism but claiming that atheism is dogmatic is a straight up lie and a gross misunderstanding of atheism which is worrying, considering the fact that you were once one.

Well, words have definitions and I think my stance of the God connection fits a particular definition. If my beliefs change, I look for another label. What I don't do is try to redefine the English language, and then call myself open-minded.

Fallacy after fallacy.

We currently don't know how DNA originated; therefore God.

Where then does this God come from? The logic behind this flawed argument is that complexity requires a creator. It is special pleading to conclude that God exists without questioning its origins.

If you do continue down that road, the logic leads to an infinite regress because every God would require its own creator, this makes it false.

If you don't, terminating the logic flow at God is incongruent with the first argument that complexity requires a creator.

Either way, the God hypothesis is unnecessary.

DNA occurs in less than 0.000001% percent of the universe by even the most generous approximations. To say that it couldn't have occurred in at least one place in the Universe over the first 9 billion years since the Big Bang is an argument from incredulity.

There's a difference between knowledge and understanding. Whoever claims to KNOW so much is obviously lost in delusion. But the ability to UNDERSTAND is a gift naturally bestowed on some. I understand that u either believe, don't believe, or are uncertain. Simple! Even those who have never heard about God are considered UNBELIEVERS by default, until they are educated, and may then believe, not believe, or be skeptical! This is fact. So "all the other parties" can KNOW whatever they like. They Simply enjoy the drama of CUSTOMISED LABELLING. Lol.

Every other person simply enjoys customized labeling while you alone know the truth. I get it.

The last time I checked , 250 million people were killed by atheists because of the belief that God does not exist .

This is probably due to overuse of antibiotics. Bacteria evolve resistance to prevalent forms of treatments quickly. Hopefully, a medical breakthrough would come to take care of this but till then let people try to practise safe sex.

I discuss with Agnostics. But Google is your friend. Also, try looking up the definition. You wud find that it is categorized into three parts, but in essence, it is simply disbelief! Deliberate or otherwise. See the op and the context in which I described Atheists.

This means you basically have no argument. If you classify Richard Dawkins as an agnostic when he calls himself an atheist then you can clearly see how wrong you are.

Learn the terms.
