samistry:The Wyatt6: If they make them a creepy and weird cult, then it will work. If they go for spooky/supernatural stuff, it will flop. Jacob Fatu: I've heard that he's really good but I'm not so sure yet. He's definitely better than Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, though. |
pu7pl3:Memes aside, I think he's done a great job getting himself over with his promo work and presentation. However, he's really nothing special in the ring and is already 36 years old. He kinda reminds me of Zack Ryder (Matt Cardona) from back in the day. So, while I'm rooting for him to succeed, realistically, I don't think his ceiling would be very high in a place like WWE. |
pu7pl3:Despite him being loved in London and Paris and Tokyo? America, Scotland and Canada and Mexico?? |
Baddestguyp:The first two cast members look so much like their characters that it's actually kinda creepy |
Do you believe in Joe Hendry?
|
jahson19:That's the problem with YouTube animations. They take long to make because of limited budget and manpower. |
Baddestguyp:Umm, was there supposed to be pic attached? |
KiniOto finally mentioned King Gizzard let's go! Now I'm just waiting for JojoLands.

PerfectStranger:It's easy to type stuff like this from the other side of the screen in the comfort of your own home |
Korean NTR fetishists shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the kitchen ever again. 😭

NeoWanZaeed:I'm not a huge fan of powerscaling debates but the Bleach universe, for example, scales far higher than JJK. Sukuna would lose to pre-evolution Aizen just from the speed difference alone. Heck, nobody is stopping Lille Barro's X-Axis or Haschwalt's Balance in JJK. Take JJBA pt. 3 Dio for example, he can simply stop time for 11 seconds, chop Sukuna's head off and that's that. So while it isn't a certain victory for Dio, it is still possible. |
NeoWanZaeed:Sukuna may be the strongest in the JJK universe but there are a lot of stronger characters outside of JJK. |
Brokeloser:It's freely available on YouTube. Episode 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ndBoc6R8_A Episode 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5DkKJdJs9Q |
CoolUsername:Turns out episode 2 was also fire. Funny how an Irish Newgrounds animator can produce such an authentic retro anime experience. I know Adult Swim is past its prime but Punch Punch Forever will definitely fit their style |
Kukutente23:Harmattan is coming... |
The first episode was actually fire. Reminds me of early Studio Trigger. I swear, whenever these lewd animators are allowed to cook, they produce gold.

Don't know if this is the right place to post this since he only ever covered manga and webtoons in relation to western comics but Ben Potter, AKA Comicstorian, has died at 40 after an unfortunate accident. I used to watch this channel some years back to find good indie comics that weren't webcomics. This channel gave indie comic creators a chance to reach wider audiences and gave younger audiences to experience the classics. RIP Ben Potter and godspeed. |
Baddestguyp:Lol, that scene. I remember when the guy found out that the blond one was a guy and was like "nooo, two boys can't have sex" since his dogs were male. This dude was cool with bestiality and paedophilia but drew the line at homosexuality. Fire Punch's humour was something else. To your main point. You're right, most of the people complaining probably haven't even heard of Fire Punch. |
Brokeloser:Yoooo! Who let Fujimoto cook? Nice Evangelion reference tho
|
pu7pl3:Nairaland image compression moment |
Brokeloser:Tfw there were k-pop souvenirs at the anime convention I went to last year.
|
Thegamingorca:I've heard of Death Stranding but Metal Gear Solid is his most popular game. |
"No I don't want that! Nagatoro finally ending? I want it to continue for the rest of my life. At least 10 years!"

I just read this manhwa that was recommended on /a/ of all places and it blew me away. Annarasumanara is an old Webtoon (started in 2010) written by Il-Kwon Ha. It follows a high school girl who is struggling financially and had to juggle taking care of herself and younger sister with preparing for "Korean WAEC" . Life is rough for our MC. She's dealing school bullies, absentee parents, debt collectors, and creepy old men. That is, until one day when she is whisked away into the weird world of a mysterious magician. One catch is that this guy insists that his magic is real. I swear, if this dude wasn't attractive, this would've been a completely different story but I digress... What comes next is a story of how different people deal with the dilemma of growing up and contending with society's definition of success. Il-Kwon delivers this story with style. Now, the art may not be what most would call conventionally beautiful or technically sound. Yet, I found it extremely evocative. Every artstyle shift, panel layout, screen tone seems carefully chosen to make you feel a certain way. Annarasumanara, or The Sound of Magic spoke to me in profound way. Believe it or not, I'm actually technically a zoomer (an older zoomer). So now I'm watching these characters trying to chase their dreams while their reality is weighing them down and I'm feeling some type of way about it because I too can't always do things I want to do. I have a feeling others here may be able to relate this manhwa. I mean, over the years, I've seen this thread go from a buzzing chat room to like two posts a week. Seems like the young otakus of those days blazing through one cour in a single day have given way to working class men and women with bills to pay. Good thing Annarasumanara is only 27 chapters long so three lunch breaks should be enough for us. |
NeoWanZaeed:I was talking about Bleach |
NeoWanZaeed:You can just watch it in a more efficient way. You can Google the filler arcs and episodes, then just skip them. You can also just watch a recap of the Fullbring arc because it was kind of dragged at some points. |
This pic goes unbelievably hard. (Nicholas Winding Refn, director of Drive and Hideo Kojima, maker of Metal Gear Solid)

Baddestguyp:From just the title card and screenshots, I can tell that this manhwa is very likely to end up being trash. This is probably just another Korean male power fantasy Cultivation-lite where a guy learns how to fight so he can beat up his school bullies. Then it probably develops into some sort of gang warfare or something involving other schools where he takes out a series of minor bosses. Of course, some chicks in the MC's harem will, at some point, be kidnapped, drugged, and almost SA'd by the bad guys. The characters will remain as flat as boards and the manhwa will keep on going and going until it becomes unrecognisable. Then it will end in a whimper, waaay after it's expiration date. All while somehow still managing to have a bunch of unresolved plot threads. |
Baddestguyp:Fun fact: did you know that Kengan Ashura, How Heavy are the Dumbbells You Lift?, and ST✰R: Strike It Rich take place in a shared universe. |
Baddestguyp:The AoT fandom strikes again |
