Tbh, at first I was following it out of morbid curiosity to see how senpai would embarrass himself next. However, gradually—almost imperceptibly—the story evolved and matured into something that completely surpassed my expectations.

Why did Kagurabachi become such a meme? I know the hype was ironic but why? it's not like its bad like Morbius so why did everyone fixate on this manga when it dropped late last year.

I actually started it in the beginning of this year and it's fine. It has a very capable artist and who understands panelling. It has a lot of cool characters, a decent plot and good action direction. It was good enough to make some of it's ironic stans actually stick around as fans. It's an above average battle shone manga so why all the ironic memes?

Imagine me saying Hell's Paradise, Naruto or FMAB are enjoyable shows that barely have a plot, would you also agree that I've not trashed either show?

I've always interpreted Hell's Paradise as being more focused on the evolution of the characters on the island than anything else. There's actually a good case to make here that it is a character-driven piece.

That said, I would mostly disagree with that notion for the other anime you mentioned but I definitely won't take it as an attack on the show. I would be more curious to know exactly what makes them enjoyable to you if not the plot.

I mean, the dude said Demon Slayer, a narrative-driven show spanning multiple seasons, barely has a plot. What else are you waiting for? For him to literally call it trash?

However, he still said that it was enjoyable. While I don't agree that Demon Slayer barely has a plot, it does have a pretty standard plot for a shonen series. That said, a show can still work without much of a plot. Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo are both highly acclaimed anime which barely have a plot. I don't think he trashed Demon Slayer in any way.

Not that the commercial success is the sole yardstick for ranking movie quality. While Barbie isn't a better movie than John Wick, it's still a pretty good movie. And while Drake isn't a better rapper than Kendrick, he's still a pretty decent rapper.

But baddestguyp never actually called Demon Slayer trash. He only that it is not in his top 100 which really isn't that bad if you've watched a lot of anime like some of us here and said it's story lacks depth.

You know what? When I first watched it, I could empathise with the fact that she couldn't have known how long he the MC would have been comatose. Besides, MC was implied to get with I actually have no problem with that particular case in a vacuum.

Why do East Asian writers these days like injecting their cuck fetish into everything? I already know that a lot of Korean writers are into it but this thing sh!t is even seeping into mainstream manga. Zom 100, Rent a GF, even AoT all have some weird ntr stuff going on and it's getting more and more difficult to ignore.

3-Gatsu no Lion: Just a general melancholic vibe to it rather than tearjerking moments but I recommend. Full disclosure: I never actually finished this, my laptop at the time crashed on me and redownloading anime is the most depressing thing ever.

Erased: Decent show with a dash of surprise ntr.
