Ttipsy:The region is suppressed even after bombardment of the civil war...even at that there is no place like this Lagos district sh*thole, that have never seen war...

Obi1kenobi:Wetin concern Nigeria with the Arabic inscription in the Naira? Wetin concern Nigeria with using British and Russian planes during the war? Not attache by begging? You are the biggest efulefu who doesn't know his left from his right, here |
Torylanez:..and the Fulani herdsmen in Zamfara, Taraba, Adamawa Benue...? How many shots do they get? You think say you de do us..you de do yourself...in your deeply unjust country. |
Kayodeoyes:When you bombed Biafran churches, marketplaces and schools...which bomb and fighter jets did you use...Nigerian ones...? Ogbeni you are the thoroughly confused one here... |
Yyeske:Why not answer the questions...Will Wednesday solve the issue forever? Would you dare the Fulani herdsmen the same way...? https://www.nairaland.com/4528700/ipob-protest-onitsha |
Yyeske:Who would stop them? You? Why not try and resolve their issues like building the 2nd Niger bridge. Why are the federal roads in the small eastern region the worse in the federation? Mention one single FG investment in the east...etc, etc. Because you pick crumbs from the table of the oppressor...so everybody should shut up...Are you God? why not mind your business? "... there is virtually no federal establshment to provide jobs for the teeming youths of the zone. The only federal presence in the zone are prisons and abandoned grain silos,” Ohaneze https://www.nairaland.com/4415725/no-federal-industrial-presence-igbo |

tesppidd:The number is not as much as 3,500 that have been killed in 2 years of Buhari administration. APC can rule you forever...Remember PDP siad the same thing... |
tesppidd:Senseless liar. There have never been deaths in Nigeria as we have now than during the civil war. PDP said the same thing about ruling Nigeria forever... I am not a party person... |
front2line:Don't mind these people. Even the new road leading to Nsukka from Enugu, constructed by Chime is getting bad...and this governor uses the road to his town in Nsukka and could not repair the section that is getting worse. I don't know how these leaders think. There has not been any major development in Enugu city this 4 years. Some of the new estates especially Network Estate on Enugu-Nsukka road has no light and the internal roads have not been tarred. |
buhariguy:Very bad... How would you like to buy fuel at 85, bag of good rice at 12K, economy booming as people build more houses with trickle down gains by artisans welders, bricklayers, etc...despite the fake corruption claims? How would you feel if those 3500 lives wasted by terrorist herdsmen are still there...? Buhari would still win though if he is available to contest. Not because he has done well but due to the useless political and regional permutation, where the SE believes it is their turn after Buhari. Voting for another northerner would see the SE postpone their turn for another 4 years...making the north rule for 12 years. |
If na only streets e for better... ...we have cattle inside classrooms. E no go better for the satanist Federick Lugard...

OritaIbadan:You dey mind the useless leaders Nigeria is cursed with....? Where is Maina with his loot? The moment Maina starts running his mouth...INTERPOL will be engaged to flush him out of his hiding place back to Naija.. Take this for your breakfast.... ".....Since Gov. Joshua Dariye joined APC his trial with EFCC stopped like a train with a knocked engine. Since Gov. Orji Uzor Kalu joined APC his trial with EFCC suddenly got a new break pad. Since Gov. Sullivan Chime of Enugu joined APC his trial with EFCC developed a cataract Since Gov. Isa Yuguda joined APC his trial with EFCC suddenly developed hearing problems. Since Senator Musiliu Obanikoro joined APC his trial with the EFCC suddenly developed malaria. And Buhari is Mr. Integrity? God will punish some people soon and send them to hell fire..." FFK |

ANSMEDIA:Good job. Enugu city has really slowed down since this new administration. People close to the governor said he promised to focus on the rural areas this first term...and focus in Enugu city during his second term. Who knows. We are waiting... Anambra has really done well. Massive and fantastic development everywhere... |
Can this sanction be used in retrospect in Nigeria, as hunger was used during the last Nigeria/Biafra civil war? Those who are dead like Awolowo, can be sanctioned posthumously...While those living like Gowon, should have a date at the Hague. |
With famine on the rise worldwide, the United Nations Security Council threatened sanctions yesterday against governments, armies and rebels that block humanitarian aid from reaching civilians in war zones. A resolution put forward by Ivory Coast, Kuwait, the Netherlands and Sweden was unanimously adopted, winning backing from Russia, which is facing calls to pressure its Syrian ally to allow aid convoys to rebel-held areas. Famine has been on the rise over the past two years, reversing decades of decline, as conflicts have intensified and hunger is increasingly used as a weapon of war. More than 74 million people are going hungry in war zones around the world, according to the United Nations. Dutch UN Deputy Ambassador Lise Gregoire-van Haaren described the resolution as a “landmark” text because the council “for the first time unequivocally condemns the use of starvation as a method of warfare.” Swedish Ambassador Olof Skoog said the resolution “breaks new ground” by making clear that those who block aid shipments can face sanctions. “It makes sense that countries or individuals that block humanitarian access should be sanctioned, and this is one of the possibilities that now opens up,” Skoog told reporters. Addressing the council, Russia argued that armed conflicts were not the only factor behind the spread of famine, pointing to rising food prices, natural disasters and climate change as new drivers of hunger. The war in Yemen has left more than eight million people on the brink of starvation out of 17 million who are severely food insecure, according to the United Nations. South Sudan’s army and rebel groups have been accused of using hunger as a weapon of war, with repeated attacks on aid workers. Last year, the United Nations raised alarm over the threat of famine in parts of Nigeria, Somalia, South Sudan and Yemen. In Syria, now in its eighth year of war, 13 million people are in need of food aid, including three million Syrians who live in besieged or hard-to-reach areas. http://sunnewsonline.com/un-threatens-sanctions-for-using-hunger-as-weapon-of-war/ |
Ugwuanyi backs CBN’s cooperative solar city estate. Magnus Eze, Enugu Privately developed estates are springing up daily in Enugu, the capital city of Enugu State, courtesy of the atmosphere provided by the current administration in the state. The Governor, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has again, pledged to support the construction of yet another estate, this time round, the first solar-powered estate being built by Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Cooperative Society in partnership with Geometrix Homes and Estates Ltd. He made the pledge when the National Executive Committee of the CBN Cooperative, led by its President, Isa Aminu Buhari, and the management of Geometrix Homes and Estates Ltd paid him a courtesy call at the Lion Building, Enugu. While briefing the governor, Buhari said the project, which is one of the first set to be built across the states with their partner, Geometrix Homes and Estates Ltd, was designed to be environmentally friendly and will solve the perennial energy problem afflicting most homes in Nigeria due to fossil fuel powered energy source. The solar city project that will be flagged off by the governor in the first week of June is situated at the reserved section of the Emene Industrial Layout. It is the second of a series of solar-powered estates to be developed across the country by the CBN Cooperative in partnership with Geometrix Homes and Estates Ltd. The proposed estate comprising over 170 plots sitting on a land area of over 14 hectares, will be a fenced and gated neighbourhood with asphalted streets, good drainage and well landscaped lawns. Other facilities such as internet backbone, security and cleaning services, will be provided, while all the houses within the estate will be powered by solar energy along with street lights Buhari further explained that the project plan includes the construction of an 18km state government road from Innoson Junction along Abakiliki Road to the estate site that will equally be provided with solar street lights. He thanked the governor for his laudable developmental projects especially in the area of infrastructural development and housing, which has enabled the state to be an investment destination in the South East. He also appealed to the governor to facilitate the smooth take off of the project especially in the area of statutory approvals, security and inter-agency cooperation. http://sunnewsonline.com/ugwuanyi-backs-cbns-cooperative-solar-city-estate/

sarrki: Did IPOB tell you to be lying about the 2nd Niger bri?ge. Aboki, name any project in Nigeria that has more controversy like the bridge? Why would you blame IPOB for fighting against the clear marginalization of its people? |

mrkunlex:How? Was it the Igbo that told the soldiers to organise a coup? Why didn't the Benue people get killed when Dimka killed Murtala in a coup? Do you people ever use your brains at all? |
