Na Lie Oga

I understand why you think it's a lie: people are hardly aware of the things that exist outside of their realities.

You only know about cheap houses because that's what you're looking for. You can't tell me what I know.

Even NAFDAC has houses going for 750k, 800k, let alone Angwan Rimi GRA, Malali, etc.

Funny thing is, he thinks I’m a KD indigene, I’m from Anambra State and if I tell him Kaduna state has better setting and structure for dwelling and raising a family than Anambra, which is still way better than Delta state, he’ll start another bout of foolish rants.

Ignorance is bliss ooo grin

Lol. Don't mind the ignorant guy. Delta wey I know like the back of my hand. No right thinking person go compare Kaduna with that glorified village.

Yes he did, because there's not rent of #300k over here in kaduna, highest is 250k and it have to be in a very well placed place

Which KD? Some 2 bedroom houses in places like Malali, Angwan Rimi, Gwamna Road, Barnawa go for as high as 1 million.

NOBODY wants to be anchored with the core North.

NO ONE.

Why would they? What do you get from Sokoto, Borno, Katsina and the other useless emirates in the North besides senseless terrorism (whether that be Boko Haram or Fulani herdsmen), child marriage, awful leadership, poverty and gross stupidity?

And that is why I keep insisting that the solution is not for the Igbos to leave but for the rest of Nigeria to come together and push the core North out of the union. They are a cancer on not just Nigeria but west Africa at large.

I share your sentiments. This has always been my number one stand.

you said it all, but i will rather us be middle belt than merging with anyone.
Once again you said it all.

I would want the same too. Imagine a situation where kogi West/kwara go with the SW, Niger with the north, that leaves Benue, parts of kogi, Nasarawa, Plateau, Taraba, Southern Kaduna, Southern Bauchi, and possibly Southern Gombe and Adamawa. That leaves us almost intact - or even bigger.

Together, you have a collection of individuals where no single entity can dominate. Hardworking and education-loving people among whom religion does not take centre stage. Add that to over 230,000 square kilometres of total land area and you would see that there's enough room for us to grow in science, agriculture, and industry.

Gravas and coptic where do you belong?
Kanu your hero that said alot about you.

Hehe. Terkimbi01 has a point. Most Christians would rather ally with the SE than go with the core north. Even the Christians in Kano would rather the East.

From his comments, you could see that his dislike for the core northerners stems from their violent acts, condescension, and supremacist worldviews. Their lives, thoughts and perspectives are inspired only by Islam, rather than science or a mix of both. You can't make any progress like that. Education and logic get you far, not religion.

I can't speak so much for the Muslim middle-belters. Whether or not they are cool with the oppression, playing second fiddle in mosques, being regarded as not Muslim enough, or being referred to as unbelievers (arnaye). One thing I'm sure of though, is that they are progress-minded and peace-loving people. They won't object to a middle-beltan project, but I don't see them joining a Biafra.

Personally, I regard the Igbos as brothers and sisters, but my first priority would be to form a middle-beltan state or nation. With the exception of the Yorubas, the other majority tribes always seek to dominate. But an alliance with the Yorubas isn't quite it for middle-beltan states far east of the country, like Benue, Taraba, Nasarawa, and Plateau.

That leaves us with one of three options: be independent, ally with the Igbos, or ally with the Hausas. If I can't get independence, an alliance with the Igbos won't lead to bloodshed. Worst that could happen is war of words, which happens even among siblings. I don't see any of the aforementioned middle-beltan states allying with the north.

My opinion.
