But they live in fear. The Berom almost smoked them to pieces during the last crisis. It took the intervention of the soldiers to rescuet them. |

freshest4live: The problem is not that Igbo's are good in the north, or helping some Northern communities. The problem is that Nnamdi kanu insults everyone, and is making his beloved country men look suspicious amongst their host. Some of what he says are true, but he generalizes too much and preaches hate, sort of an lgbo vs Entire Nigeria mentality, rather than lgbo vs Buhari or lgbo vs The Elites. But l get it, you guys believe he is fighting your course, so he can never be wrong. You speak sense! |

APCsupporter: speak for yourself mr malton.petty traders ain't valuable. Importation is one of the biggest problems of our economy today so keep your mouth shut. is it not when the thugs see them that they attack? It's very simple. Since you are tired of living with backward illiterates who are still in stone age then why don't you leave? how it will affect us is none of your business Karyan ka. We must help advance you people and develop your lands by force. That's the only way to keep you guys from constituting nuisances. Sometimes, a child does not know that bitter can taste sweet; so he kicks and rebuff. But it is incumbent on the parent to persist. Call that making conscientious efforts to change your situation. You are welcome. Petty traders, you say? Look around again. I suspect you are blind. |

Your people participate in those vices just as much. Don't try to form holy here. Hausa-Fulani thugs will sever a man's head from his neck before taking his belongings. So u just swallow what any dumb As**s spews without confirming it as long as it is aligned with what u can cry about on the cyberspace. Shame on u Me? No, rather, you are the one who should be ashamed. Your Islamisation agenda in Nigeria makes any news believeable. Usually, I sift information, but with you people, everything is possible. Could forcing an Arab language down the people's throats be worse than murder in the name of religion? You have done worse. Your tendencies make any news credible. I have learnt to never dismiss any allegations levelled against you. So for me, the onus was on you to prove your innocence. As I am eh, the only thing that will make me want to verify the credibility of any news is if I hear that "Hausa-fulani muslims renounce violent approach to life." Everything else na unna way. So you should be ashamed that you have made negativity a lifestyle. That all you know how is to claim lands and give birth to kids you cannot take care of, all because you seek to grow the Muslim population. |

Nowenuse: Thank you.
I am also glad that our elders in Plateau never succumbed to be under Bauchi emirate. We were such a large population of people that could not be penetrated and our location on the highlands/Plateau also gave us a comparative advantage against these jihadists and their strategies.
Yes, it's not enough for us to be happy that we were not enslaved by emirates. How have we used our status to help our brothers in need? Our cultural relatives who were unfortunately victimized and exploited by these emirates? Thank God for Southern Kaduna people who have been able to unite themselves and stand on their feet even in the face of political opression and domination. The point is that we have to large unite ourselves, develop a common identity and fight for a common goal.
Yes. Nasarawa is dominantly christian, about (55-60%) christian or slightly more. The problem over there is tribal division. Tribalism has heavily divided the christian population. Tribal identity is more important than christian identity over there, so the muslims easily took advantage of this and continue to dominate them. Another problem is the christians of Nasarawa west, Gbagyis, Gades, Gwandaras and others who are largely illiterate and rural (although they are gradually improving). Go and see the way hausa-fulani and others muslims are dominating their towns and controlling their lives while they the indigenes continue to wallow in poverty in the villages. It's just pathetic. This is also the same problem with many Adamawa christian tribes.
A lot of things cannot and should not be said here.
The point remains that a lot of things need to be done to and for most northern/middlebelt christians. Yet another knowledgeable perspective. You have offered some really wise observations. Thanks, bro. Tribal supremacy is one evil we ought to kill, lest it kills us in the middle belt. From all you have said, I can surmise that the Muslims got the upper due mainly to tribal infighting among locals. It's unfortunate that these issued persist to this day. Something has to be done. They Hausa-fulani deliberately planted their people to cause and take advantage of the divides amongst the people. I'm still very young. But I intend to take some campaigns offline in the near future. Our people need to know. This cannot continue. Like you rightly pointed out, certain things aren't meant for public consumption. Thanks, again! |

In Nigeria where there is serious security challenges, you as the acting president is roaming around in a place were a sniper can easily snipped you out even before the blink of an eye, and maybe put the nation in chaos by your silly act.
Osibanjo is classless and too petty for my liking. Just look at the foolishness he did last week, making one inconsequential miscreant that called himself a freedom fighter feel a little important by giving some useless reasons of why he(the miscreant) wasn't invited to a dialouge meeting.
You don't have to appear too petty just because you want people to like you. And no, I don't dislike osinbanjo, but is just that his pettiness turns me off. Imagine this extremist. Mynd banned a username from April to December for one stupid reason like that.
People there reported the injustice to Seun but he did nothing. He ignored them all. And that's a bad sign. I observed that mynd44 is like that. He banned some handle for 2 months and bans another for 2 days, over the same "offence." It looks like they do as pleased there are no rules guiding these things and that's bad for business. What's the point of having 1,827,055 registered members when 2/3rd of those numbers are alternate handles? Their bans here are just a vendetta, and not meant to correct behaviors. the actual number of nairaland members should be somewhere in the region of 500 - 700,000. Most people now have alternate handles, no thanks to the arbitrary bans. |
