frenzydilz:No school either in SS or SE can match UniMaid structure wise. They won't even come close. About the north being 'all land', you have a large population with a small area, it's only normal that your place will appear more compact. I bet your people will kill to have an 'all land' location of their own like they currently do over their 41,000 Sq. Km area. |
I think banning of niqab, hijab, etc. Will help lower the spate of bombings. But will religiosity let them take the right step? |
CecyAdrian:I don't know you, but it feels like I know what you are; you're a smart lady! |
FFK should have known better than to engage Jimoh. The man get bad mouth. |
oluwatomisin93:See this one. Izz like you have not seen Unizik's admission list before. You will bow in honor of Anambra. |

ZKOSOSO:So you're not programmed to write a certain way after all?! ![]() ME been don conclude say u be robot wey dey on preset to hate. A good number of them go to school sha. Besides, number no dey determine brainpower. We go school pass no mean say na we sabi book pass. So, somehow, they could still find themselves at the top. Obscure doesn't exactly go here. What this outlines is that they do not venture out of their region much, unlike the other tribes that like to explore. |
Izz like Rihanna is her role model. All these girls sef. You're already a star, and have made a fortune for yourself. You wonder what more they want dressing like this. But then, my very good pesin talk say ashewo na ashewo, no matter what she drives. |
Omudia:When will you people stop being simpleminded? Who revolted against Gaddafi? Do you even have an idea what led to what? It's better to keep quiet than speak up and ridicule yourself. As for building Abuja, in every relationship, the money has to be sourced from somewhere. Even in your Niger-deltan states, are the monies used in developing the state capitals not derived from elsewhere? How many of the state capitals are oil rich? Your ignorance on how the world works is appalling! |

One of PMB's greatest undoing was involving himself in the affairs of the Southwest. I'm sure he did it for "his" people. But, he should have considered his people's people. The binding force of politicians is greed. He missed that part when he thought that Tinubu will let go of the plate easily. Never try to divide a house that once united for you. For all his stupidity, Fayose knows better than to go against the wishes and interest of the Yoruba nation. And for now, that rallying point is Tinubu. Regardless whether his motives are fueled by greed or otherwise, a move against him will be seen as a move against the Yoruba nation. Why? Because he's the kingmaker that made most of their contemporary leaders. Someone may wonder how him being a kingmaker furthers the interest of his people. The response is that he installed performance-proven personalities. That's an impression some of his benefactors' ego trip cannot erase. This is akin to involving yourself in a husband and wife affair. You should know better, sir. |

ammyluv2002:What difference did she make last time out? The same woman that was nowhere to be seen when corruption was king. That wuruwuru book system won't get us nowhere. The lack of prudent fiscal management was what got us here. Nothing was created for the society in spite of the oil windfall accrued. The combination that you seek is a recipe for disaster. ![]() |

Lol. From what I have observed, the incumbent is always the most hated president in the history of Nigeria. Gej got insults you would argue are a broken record. Buhari is fast bettering that. The president the will receive less insults is one that has a nationalistic outlook and is diplomatic in his approach. On top of that, he has to ensure that there is no hunger in the land, there's sustainable progress, and his government should be all-inclusive. It may look otherwise, but it does not really take too much to please Nigerians. For all the bad leaders we have had, someone who gives just enough of his everything will be considered a hero. That's just how bad we have had it. |
KingOvoramwen1:Lol. The Hausas do not hate the Yorubas. They are all for anyone whom they believe is for them. Rochas has a longstanding relationship with Hausas, especially those of Kano extraction. He has done a lot of charity works there. They love him for that. Obj would have received a more heroic welcome. Besides, I think they named a flyover after him. They love him that much. |

Seriously? See scam in public glare. I wonder who is the more repulsive of the trio of Buhari, Dalung, and TB Joshua whenever they speak in public. One thing is sure, though: fanatics are the worst of humans! Watch how they will defend him with all their might. Back in the Uni., one nearly ran mad because I said it's cretinous for the poor who can barely feed to give offering to "ministers" going places in jets. Another one threw a pillow at me for daring to insult al-qaeda in far away middle east. There are things education just cannot change. |
Peace, guys. Violence should never be an option. |
nuelzy:... I thought that I mentioned a man. |
![]() To pray that the allocations keep dropping until the government is forced to sit up and think is akin to wishing death on one's kith and kin. These leaders cannot think even if their own lives depended on it. Let's just hope that some day, the smarter and intelligent people will join politics to help turn things around. At the end of the day, it is the poor man that bears the brunt: rising inflation, too few money, or no money at all. May it get better! |
chinology:Lol, Chino, biko, I'm not here to drag supremacy with you. That's your area. Besides, I'm more Anambra than Enugu, as I've stayed longer in Awka than I have anywhere else in the east. Just pointing out the unquestionable truth. |
NextGovernor:Lol. I'm not even from Enugu or the East in general. Just telling him the koko. |
greenermodels:And that's my point exactly. Those people are just plain dumb to not understand the impact that the Igbos have made in their lands. No investment is too little to grow a place. Forget the things we say or do here on nairaland. I for one, am friends with lots of Igbo people and will do everything possible to make them feel at home in my state whenever I'm in the position to do so. This is because wherever the Igbo man is, he considers home. And as a result, does everything in his power to help with its development. Why then should you not treat such people like they deserve? I thank God for my state. The people and government recognize this, and so treat everyone equally regardless of your tribe. Although I know that they are intolerant to Muslims of Hausa extraction. ![]() Religion has done a lot of damage to their psych. May God continue to spare your life and grow you beyond your imagination! |
Izonpikin:While your assertions are true, and I hate that he is those, facts are facts. We can't deny what a disappointment Oga Jona was. I see Buhari as a stepping stone. He shall be discarded with soon, especially for his poor diplomatic skills. That's worse than an F, sadly. |
Fremancipation:That, my friend, is the gospel truth. I've lived long enough and interacted with a lot of people in Enugu to know this. I know people who left even places like Kaduna despite it not being a boko haram enclave. Investments and all are only worth so much when one is alive. Until our brothers in the north realize this, they will continue to drive away potential investors who would have helped develop their land. For every one Igbo man investing in the core North, thousands are already gearing up to flee to Enugu, Lagos, or Onitsha. But ignorance won't allow my people to know how much harm they are doing to themselves. What benefits are there in violence? |
