Read these two psalms everyday Psalm 91 King James Version 91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. 14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. Psalm 23 King James Version 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of thy lord. |
Nigeria’s new mega refinery is taking steps to secure crude imports in the latest sign that the physical oil market is tightening. Dangote Industries Ltd., owned by billionaire Aliko Dangote, is looking to hire an oil tanker on a three-month contract to bring West African supplies to the refinery, according to a document seen by Bloomberg. The contract, for service starting in mid-March, could be renewed for another three months. The move suggests that the recently opened refinery — the largest in Africa — is ramping up operations more quickly than expected. That would tighten a market that’s been teetering into oversupply, and support futures prices that rallied Friday to the highest level since November The refinery, able to process 650,000 barrel a day of oil, started operations in January. It has tapped US and West African grades to produce fuels in the initial start-up phase, during which it aims to run at 350,000 barrels a day |
Predictions about the BRICS countries as the fastest growing economies haven't quite panned out. Instead, the alliance is now offering a diplomatic forum and development financing, outside of the Western mainstream. The acronym began as a somewhat optimistic term to describe what were the world's fastest-growing economies at the time. But now the BRICS nations — Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa — are setting themselves up as an alternative to existing international financial and political forums. Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa are trying to position themselves as representatives of the Global South, providing "an alternative model to the G7." The G7 is an "informal forum" of heads of state of the world's most advanced economies, founded in 1975. Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, Canada and the US are members, as is the EU. The acronym BRIC, which initially stood for Brazil, Russia, India and China, was coined by Jim O'Neill in 2001 when he was chief economist of the multinational investment bank, Goldman Sachs. At the time, the four countries had sustained rates of high economic growth and the BRIC label stood for economic optimism about the future of those nations. Opponents of the label said the countries were too diverse to be grouped together like this and that it was really just a Goldman Sachs marketing ploy. But what may have started as a marketing ploy to encourage investors has grown into a platform for intergovernmental cooperation similar to the G7. In 2009, the four nations met for their first summit in Russia's Yekaterinburg. In 2010, South Africa was invited to join the group, adding the "S" to BRICS. Challenging the World Bank model In 2014, with $50 billion (around €46 billion) in seed money, the BRICS nations launched the New Development Bank as an alternative to the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. In addition, they created a liquidity mechanism called the Contingent Reserve Arrangement to support members struggling with payments. These offers were not only attractive to the BRICS nations themselves, but also to many other developing and emerging economies that had had painful experiences with the IMF's structural adjustment programs and austerity measures. This is why many countries said they might be interested in joining the BRICS group. The BRICS bank is open to new members. In 2021, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Uruguay and Bangladesh took up shares. However, these were much lower than the respective $10 billion investments made by the bank's founding members. The most recent economic developments in BRICS member states have little to do with the initial myths upon which the group was founded. Of the five members, only China has achieved sustained and extensive growth since then. As China's gross domestic product grew from $6 trillion in 2010 to nearly $18 trillion in 2021, the economies in Brazil, South Africa and Russia stagnated. India's GDP grew from $1.7 trillion to $3.1 trillion, but was outpaced by China's growth. No sanctions against Russia Since the start of the Russian war in Ukraine, the BRICS countries have only distanced themselves further from the so-called West. Neither India, Brazil, South Africa or China are taking part in sanctions against Russia. This has become increasingly clear with near-historic levels of trade between India and Russia, or in Brazil's dependence on Russian fertilizer. "Diplomatically, the war in Ukraine appears to have drawn a stark dividing line between an eastern-backed Russia and the West," political scientist Matthew Bishop from the University of Sheffield wrote for the Economics Observatory late last year. "Consequently, some European and US policymakers worry that the BRICS may become less an economic club of rising powers seeking to influence global growth and development, and more a political one defined by their authoritarian nationalism." |

1. The less you share, the less people will be in your personal life. 2. You'll slowly stop caring about people's opinion on you. 3. You won't have to seek validation to do what feels right for you. 4. If everyone is your friend, you've a problem. You can't trust anyone with personal information. 5. You'll attract peace into your life. You'll experience less drama, toxic energy and more time alone. 6. The real flex is being private, staying low-key and telling no one about your life. 7. It'll be 10x easier to walk some paths alone to achieve your personal goals. 8. Privacy teaches you independence and how to connect with people on a deeper level. 9. Everyone leaves. You'll learn how to be alone and not feel lonely. 10. When you build in silence, people won't know what to attack. 11. People will want to know more about you when you talk less about yourself. 12. People don't care so much about you. They only care on what you can offer. |

How does God grow you? Through tests. It’s like when you work out in a gym, where you test your muscles by lifting weights. The more you test your muscles, the more your muscles grow. Test #1 – A difficult new task You’ll face this test many times in your life and in your ministry. God will tell you to do something that seems impossible. It’s like when God called Noah to build the ark when no one on earth had even seen rain. God may not ask you to build an ark, but he will ask you to reach for an impossible dream or complete an impossible task. Faith is facing the future without knowing “what” that task may be. Test #2 – A major change I call this the “where” test. It’s a test that happens when a major change comes into your life and you don’t know where God is taking you. God tells us to go—and changes everything in our lives in the process—but he doesn’t tell us where. God told Abraham to go from Ur to somewhere new without telling him where. And Abraham obeyed. Maybe God wants you to serve in a different area than where you’re currently serving. Or maybe he is telling you to sell your house, and you’re wondering, “But where am I going?” Faith is following God’s leading without knowing “where.” Test #3 – A delayed promise This time you’re asking, “When?” God, when will you answer my prayer? When will our church grow? When will my marriage change? You’re not the first to ask the question, “When?” The Bible tells us Abraham had a similar experience: “Even when he reached the land God promised him, he lived there by faith—for he was like a foreigner, living in tents. And so did Isaac and Jacob, who inherited the same promise. Abraham was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God” (Hebrews 11:9-10 NLT). Abraham based his life on God’s promises—not explanations. And his faith grew because of it. Faith is waiting for God’s timing without knowing “when.” Test #4 – An unsolvable problem This is the “how” test. You have a problem and do not know how to solve it. Remember when God told Abraham that he would be a father? At 99 years old, it was physically impossible for him and his wife to have a child. But God did the impossible—through the faith of Sarah (and Abraham). The Bible tells us, “It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise” (Hebrews 11:11 NLT). Faith is expecting a miracle without knowing “how.” You might be experiencing a problem in your family or your church that seems unsolvable. But as you trust God, even with the unsolvable, your faith will grow. Test #5 – A senseless loss Sometimes we face a loss in life that makes no sense. Often, we look for an explanation even when there is none. You can spend your whole life looking to explain the unexplainable. Our response to this senseless loss is usually, “Why?” Why did the person I love die? Why did my dream end? Why did I lose my job? Imagine putting yourself in Abraham’s shoes. God asked him to sacrifice his son—his only son upon which all of his dreams of fathering a nation rested. Abraham couldn’t explain why God asked him to do this, but in faith, he obeyed. And then God provided another way. Faith is trusting God’s purpose without knowing “why.” Test #6 – A prolonged pain This is the “how long” test. It’s about the chronic pain in your life. Whether it’s relational, spiritual, or physical, it is suffering that won’t go away. You simply must live with it. In Hebrews 11:24-26, the Bible tells us that Moses endured all kinds of suffering—including conflict, criticism, and pain—to pursue what God wanted to do through his life. At times, he must have asked God, “How long, Lord?” Moses didn’t choose what felt right. God’s Word tells us this about Moses: “He thought it was better to suffer for the sake of Christ than to own the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking ahead to his great reward” (Hebrews 11:26 NLT). If you’re not facing one of these tests right now, it’s coming—and likely soon. God gives you these tests because he loves you and wants you to grow. |

Sleep is important to a number of brain functions, including how nerve cells communicate with each other Reduced brain function. Headaches. Irritability. -Brain removes waste & plaque during sleep. Higher Anxiety Levels: Raises brain's anticipatory reactions & reduces stress response. Weight Gain: Sleep balances hormones that make you feel hungry or full. Elevates hunger hormone ghrelin. Weakened Immunity: Weakens body's immune response Mood Imbalances. Lack of sleep disrupts neurotransmitters to brain that regulate mood. Increase Heart Disease Risk: Blood pressure lowers during sleep. Increased stress raises BP. Less than 5 hours of sleep may cause an increased risk of heart disease, stroke, and heart attacks. Increased Diabetes Risk: Lack of sleep increases cortisol & norepinephrine - both associated with insulin resistance. Not sleeping prevents your body from releasing enough insulin, a hormone that lowers blood sugar levels Poor coordination: Reduces balance & increases risk of accidents. LOW SEX DRIVE Lack of sleep can lower sex hormone levels by 10-15% FORGETFULNESS Sleep helps our brains. to "lock in" information, helping store and secure thoughts in our minds. Entprys:Will they accept Nigeria into BRICS |

The BRICS alliance is looking to work on an alternative currency to take on the US dollar. The bloc is working out several options to end dependency on the US dollar and promote local currencies for global trade. The alliance is also convincing other developing countries to stop relying on the US dollar and promote local currencies. Russia’s Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov said that BRICS members are looking at the possibility of a common unit of account and currency, similar to the Euro. Siluanov said that the currency could work as an alternative to the US dollar, and can be used to denote the cost of some commodities. “This can be a unit of account for the BRICS member countries. Not a single currency like in the EU (Euro) but an alternative to the dollar. In which the cost of commodity deliveries can be denoted as well as benchmarks for some goods. So as not to depend on the single currency or an issuing center that issues banknotes in a no-one-knows-how manner,” he said. The BRICS currency following the Euro’s path is currently only talks and no concrete decision has been made. The bloc of nations will meet at the next summit in October this year and have a common consensus. The upcoming 16th summit will take the alliance in a new direction with possible groundbreaking policies. The policies could hamper the West and the US dollar, as they might give prominence to their currency. If the US dollar is used less on the global stage, America’s economy will be the hardest hit this decade. Watcher Guru © Copyright 2023 Watcher.Guru |
Yes,binnance was fixing rates and that's what the Aboki in the streets are using as a benchmark, hence the continuous falling of the Naira. Banning binnance does not make the nigerian economy healthy There's binnance in other west Africa countries, why is binnance not fixing rates in those countries, I think there's an economic sabotage somewhere by political opponents and enemies. The fact still remains that the nations economy is unhealthy bedeviled by endemic corruption The government need to bring out people centric policies, expecially those that will cussion the current hunger in the country. |
