Brace urself up for more of the cries for at least 5 days or a week except u bring them into one corner in ur room so u could at least have some sleep.

My 6 months old alsatian wolf is very stubborn and never listens to me when he charges against people. He constantly tries to attack everybody when I take him out for walks, and this embarrasses me a lot as well as the innocent passer-bys.

Funny thing is, he listens and obeys his commands when we're indoors. But as soon as we're outside, he throws caution to the wind and becomes his own boss and would never listen to anybody.

I've tried reading up on obedience training and also watched a few videos from oyinbos, but I'm looking for a more practical advice from Nigerians. Some people suggested discipline by flogging him into submission - I totally don't buy that as he might just become fearful of me and probably resent me forever.

Please share what has worked for you.

I have come to understand some of dogs' language after being an owner of five different dogs over many years and the only way I know to stop a dog's bad habit is to spank it just when it misbehaves. Try to let it know that u are flogging it for that bad habit. If u repeat the flogging a number of times over the same issue it will get the gist u don't like what it is doing.

Funnily, dogs aren't like humans, they can remember but they forgive easily. So don't be afraid of any resentment whatsoever. Just make sure u treat it well and don't over spank. Two to three good slaps on the side of its lap is okay

Well mine had been stepped up long ago. And the results are showing around me. People are being helped by it.

All u people who are praying in ur hearts that buhari will fail so as to prove that it wasn't Jonathan's fault that Nigeria got into this mess are wasting ur time cos buhari will never fail. Why r u hoping get that things will get worse for ur own country because of ur dislike for the president.

People never critised Jonathan because we hated him. It was because we all hoped he could bring the change we wanted but he failed us. That was why we complained about his administration and kicked him out.

Instead of you wasting ur time in looking for the president's fault, I challenge you to step up your thinking faculties and profer solutions to problems in the country at least within your jurisdiction.

I know the Jonathanians are still pained that buhari is now their president. When things start getting better u all will keep ur mouth shut and stop critizing.

Form Biafra and u will definitely be wiped out! U guys should stop playing with fire. Settle down and let's make Nigeria work. We r more powerful together than divided. A word is enough for the wise.

Well as far as I know men generally don't really care about breast size except they just want to lust after a woman's body

Let me tell u something about life: been good all the time doesn't mean that nothing bad can happen to u. You not having an affair with other people's spouse doesn't mean that others can't have with yours.
Surprisingly, you may find out that the lady in question may have the happiest of homes and a faithful husband. Such is life. It's usually unfair.

From social media I notice that most igbos are very very tribalistic. I see these people, joke and laugh with them everyday only to come to social media to know what they really think of yoruba people.

The All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, Maj.-Gen. Mohammadu Buhari (retd), has rejected all manner of political violence, saying it has no place in his ongoing campaign.

According to him, every life is sacred.

Buhari was referring to the alleged burning of President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign bus in Jos, Plateau State, on Saturday.

Some irate persons reportedly went out of control in Jos, setting ablaze two campaign buses emblazoned with the picture of President Goodluck Jonathan and his Vice, Namadi Sambo.

The incident, which took place at Zololo junction by Mangu Street, along the Bauchi road in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, happened ahead the inauguration of the Peoples Democratic Party Plateau Governorship campaign in the state.

Posting on his Twitter handle on Sunday, Buhari warned his supporters to shun violence and embrace peace, noting that he would not identify with anybody who breaks the law.

“Like I said after the attack on our supporters in Rivers State this week, elections are not war. Electoral violence is unacceptable. I have received news of violence in Jos. I condemn this violence in its entirety. I reject any supporter who resorts to violence,” the APC standard-bearer said.

In a series of tweets, Buhari, who urged the PDP also to embrace peace in its electioneering, noted that the change the APC represented would be achieved peacefully.

According to him, Nigerians cannot afford to resort to violence, as neither politics nor election implied war.

He said, “We can and we will bring change to Nigeria peacefully. I call on the Peoples Democratic Party to join this call for peace. Every Nigerian life is sacred. We insist on peace during these elections and always. Politics is not war. Elections are not a battle. Violence is strongly condemned.”

Buhari, who is giving the presidential race a third shot, on Sunday, displayed a photograph where he was playing with a toddler.

He said, “After a week on the road, I return to the joy of my grandchild. I do this for them. Our children deserve more.”

Posting on @GMBOffice, GMB Campaign Office, while expressing sadness over the incident, alleged that the PDP rival groups carried out the Jos burning.

Calling for an end to the spate of violence in the country, the GMB Campaign Office also challenged the government to rise up to the responsibility of enforcing laws and order.

It added, “The trend of uncontrolled violence in the polity needs to end. From terrorists to wanton hooligans, this government needs to sit up to do its job.

“Find perpetrators of violence as soon as they act, irrespective of who they are or who they align with, arrest them and let them face the full wrath of the law. We have a government in this country. It cannot continue to abandon its responsibility to ensure peace. It needs to do its job.”

However, some Jonathan’s aides have blamed the APC for the incident. Soon after the happening, the Special Assistant to the President on New Media, Reno Omokri, tweeted a YouTube video of a burning bus, saying, “Watch as youths chanting ‘Sai Buhari’ burn down Jonathan’s campaign bus, is this ‘change’?”

In another tweet, the presidential aide prayed, “May God destroy plans of those planning to rig election and those planning bloodshed after election. May there be no rigging, roasting, soaking in blood or parallel government.”

He, however, urged Nigerians to see the pre and post election violence as an issue that was beyond the PDP and APC. He said it was a Nigerian issue, which could only be fought with “unity.”

The Special Adviser to the President on the Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, also urged the different political groups to “conduct our electoral campaigns with highest possible decorum and civility.”

Conveying the President’s concern via tweeter, Abati called on Jonathan’s supporters to “pursue peace in the face of undue provocation.”
