Plumptre has been very good.

Ajibade switched roles with Kanu and our game has changed a bit.

Same tackle Khadija shaw did for that overrated and overprotected Wendie Renard and got red carded. It was a foolish booking. Two slips and the refs on both occasions are foolish and biased. I hate how this is glaring in the games. Managers aren't even helping. We need a Mou or Wenger reaction abeg.

We are not doing enough and also giving away too many corner kicks. It's just a matter of time before we concede a goal.

Our forwards are just there. Not even a short off target yet.sad

Throwing away our golden chances like it's nothing. Chai.

First corner for Nigeria.

The color combo is actually very beautiful.

Two mistakes at the back in less than a minute.

Demehin should calm down.

Thank God, it ended in praise!
It got sold.

In the evening, I summoned courage to send him the "BIN URL" and after a few minutes, Dan messaged with sale mail.

On Tuesday, I initiated Domain push at Namecheap, this was very slow at DAN's end. The push got accepted yesterday.

Help!!!

I received an offer for a domain at 300, countered with 600, he didn't reply. After a week I message him to up his offer and add something to it, yet no reply. Then after 2 days again, I asked if he was still interested in the domain for $300. He replied with "yes, how can I pay".
Immediately, I imported lead for $300 at Dan. And as I was typing a message to him that he would receive a mail from Dan(which I later sent), A message landed into my in box from Dan that he had confirmed the offer (this was around 11:00pm Nigerian time).

So I went to bed with the expectation of waking to see payment alert from Dan. The following day, no show.

At 3rd day, I asked Dan what's up? They said the man hasn't paid for the domain.

At 4th day, I mailed the end user, telling him he hasn't purchased the domain. Perhaps he is having some difficulties in going about it or if there any way I could help ,he should tell me.

He replied back with, "Yes please! send me the link to pay please"

I told him that Dan had already send him a message to this effect, he should confirm if he did receive the message.... He didn't reply.

I related his message (his request for payment link) to Dan CS.

Yesterday morning, Dan told me that their account manager had sent the end user the payment link.

Yesterday evening, I informed him about the link forwarded to his mail as he requested. Then I asked him if he did receive the message or not. Yet no reply from him up to this morning.

I am confused about his state of mind.

Why he is ignoring anything that has to do with Dan.

Maybe he wants me to send the Link to him by my self?

And that means 15% off the deal which is too much for me.

I'm thinking of using daaz (which is 10%), then send him the landing page link by myself.

But will bringing in daaz (another escrow) not raise or confirm any suspicion to the end user? ( All this whites could be hypersensitive).

And will it not bring an offense to Dan?

Or perhaps the end user isn't serious?

Pls, what should I do?

Veterans in the house, I'm planing to take the last step on Monday. What should I do?

Thanks
What You Should Have Done

When he requested that you send the payment link, you should have adjusted the price on your landing page and send him the BUY NOW link to your domain.

Commission Clarification

Whether he pays through the link sent to him by Dan or he clicks on your BIN, you will still pay the 5% commission since you've imported his lead and he has accepted.

The Solution

1. Adjust your BIN to $300 and send him the secure checkout link on Dan (the domain landing page).

2. Alternatively, send him the GoDaddy BIN link to proceed with payment.

At this point, the 15% commission should be the least of your worries. Just focus on receiving his payment.

By the way, since he has accepted/confirmed the transaction, DAN support will keep sending him payment reminders.

Good luck. cheesy

They are real, but doesn't translate to sales most of the time. I would advise you keep updating the description, niches, and other details on your names so you can increase their exposure.

Wow thank you so much for your time and detailed response.
I was trying to get info on the internet about boarding the trains but somehow got the impressionn I could only board the train at Mobolaji Station while the train only stops over to pick people at the Agege Station.

Are you saying I can actually buy train tickets and board the train at the Agege station ?

Also , I arrive the MMIA at 8pm Nigerian time, is it possible to sleep over in the airport till 6am the next morning ? I want to avoid moving around Lagos that late in the night.

Thanks again for your time and input.
1. Yes, that's correct. You can buy your train ticket at the Agege station, just ensure you get there early enough before it's sold out.

2. Depends on your plan for comfort. You could stay over till the next morning at the Airport if you are comfortable sleeping over at one of the lounges.

Alternatively, you can book a hotel very close to the airport before landing, so you just check-in once you arrive.

Have a safe trip.

Hi everyone,
Is there anyone here that can provide information on using the Nigeria Railway travelling from Lagos to Ibadan on a Friday morning ?
For someone who is at the MMIA Ikeja airport, which of the train station is closest and is it possible to leave the airport at 6 am and arrive the station early enough to buy ticket and board the train ?

I am not familiar with Lagos and currently out of the country, just planning to fly into MMIA and take a cab to the train station in the morning.

My flight arrives MMIA Ikeja at 8pm Nigerian time which means I will stay in the airport till early morning as I'd rather not move around late in the night, then once its 6am I would want to take a cab to the train station and make the trip to Ibadan to see my Uncle before boarding another plane/bus to Port Harcourt.

Thank you for your suggestions.
Beekind,

I hope this response is not late.

Find below the train schedule based on my personal experience, as well as the current timeline.

1. The closest train station close to MMIA is the Babatunde Fashola Station, Agege (check Google Map).

2. Yes, your schedule is feasible. If you leave the airport at 6am you'd get to the train station before 8am.

3. The train moves from Alagomeji Station, Yaba, at 8am and stops at the Agege station at 8:15am to pick the waiting passengers, then moves again after just a 5-minute wait.

4. The price from Lagos to Ibadan is around #3,500 to #4,500 currently (they recently increased the price).

5. The coaches are very comfy, neat, with full AC. You will enjoy the ride.

If you have other questions, feel free to ask. Safe travels. cheesy

Jlaw1:
Dear Godaloneisable,

From your writeup, I can confidently reach the conclusion that the issue you have tabled here is simply one symptom of much deeper problems in your marriage.

Your marriage appears to be suffering from a chronic lack of the following;

•trust
•love
•understanding/communication
•mutual respect
•unity
•empathy (not the same as sympathy)

Until both of you resolve these issues between yourselves, standoffs such as the one you have highlighted will remain unresolved, & may even get worse. This may in turn put your matrimony in jeopardy.

The fact that you didn't know (or she didn't tell you) how she financed this expensive relocation to the UK in the first place is another indication of previous troubles.

Because I don't want to write an epistle, I will advise you to act like a LEADER by honestly LOOKING INWARDS FIRST in admitting, acknowledging, addressing and correcting the role that you personally have played, that has led to the current state of things in the relationship. Then you can SUBSEQUENTLY reach out to your wife in good faith. Own up like a leader & apologize to her for your long-term and short-term faults/wrongs, BEFORE pointing out her own shortcomings as well (again in good faith). Also, let her know that you truly appreciate her sacrifices. Then patiently allow her explain things from her own perspective, & make sure that you genuinely LISTEN to her (so as to understand her point of view). This approach may help both of you reach a WIN/WIN solution to the issue at hand (and to other deep-rooted ones as well).

This may not be an overnight cure (because the problems are not "overnight problems" either), so a holistic, patient, effective & continuous medication/communication is what is needed for resolving these deep-seated troubles. I'm afraid to tell you that there are no short-cuts at this stage.

Your post seems to suggest that you may have already logged out of the marriage, but only bidding your time. I hope I'm wrong.

I'm sorry if I haven't been able to give you a magical & fast-track solution that you may have been expecting.

PS: Find time to take your wife out on a date. If you still truly love her, let her know by your words and actions on a regular basis. Rediscover her love language.

Cheers.
The most intelligent analysis and comment on this issue. This is fantastic, God bless. 👍🏼

I think your only chances are Canada but I doubt you will be given the visa from Nigeria even if you have the money cause of your age. I would avoid the UK. Probably focus on Finland as they don't care for your age and citizenship is in 4 years.
Nice points Tensa, but I disagree with the bolded.

1. Age is really not a roadblock for him @babakb if he's going for a postgraduate course (PGD, PGC, Msc.) in Canada.

I have seen a lot of over-40year-olds who got the Canadian study visa with their families, especially since last year. You can also confirm this from the Canada Student Visa thread. He even stands a better chance now that the process is faster and easier.

2. He @babakb could also explore the PR route, so long as his wife is way younger, one or both of them have two or more certificates, they both have significant years of experience, can pass IELTS exceedingly, and can write a French Test.

3. Even better, if he's in tech or any of these high-ticket/prospect jobs (tech, production, academia, e.t.c), he could polish his CV, start searching for sponsorship jobs via LinkedIn, Indeed, WeworkRemotely, e.t.c. He would probably land a job via these means and get a LMIA that would allow him apply for a work visa from Nigeria.

Regardless of the age, his possibilities are endless if he's a high-value individual.
