Ok thanks a lot. How long is the medical result valid for? And is it advisable to do upfront medicals even bfr ur admission is out, although wit the strong hope u will get admission. Can one go ahead wit it, just to fast track tins??
The medical is valid for 12 months (1 year). It's recommended that you book your medical exam after you've secured an admission from a DLI.

In addition, to book your medicals, a school admission letter would be required.

Mine hasn't come ooh.. so another wahala still dey looool.... should i send a webform or just chill? can i enter canada without the introduction letter.
Do you currently have your stamped passport with no LOI? If yes, then raise webform immediately and ask IRCC to drop your Letter of Introduction.

Johnstan had the same delay and he reached out via webform. He eventually got his LOI before he moved.

Congratulations.

LOL, it is not impossible, though you have to create a perfect relationship on your SOP, stating how you love her, how you guys have being together, how you she means the whole world to you and that you are coming back to tie the knot. Add your lovey dovey pictures to the application and pray that the VO that reviews your application is a mushy person that likes love stories not those that will say abeg getat with ur love.

Good Day House, Can someone going to Nee Brunswick pass through Ontario, will the student permit not be an issue cos price of flight passing through Montreal are scary. Anyone with experience pls .. Thanks

Those with Kids aged 5-10yrs, pls was Covid test required?

Is Arrive Can still a requirement?

Thanks
1. Yes, you can enter via YYZ (Toronto Pearson) Airport, Toronto.

2. Study permit won't be an issue. Your SP would be issued at the port of entry in Toronto, after which you can proceed to board your flight to New Brunswick.

3. COVID tests or results are no longer required to board your flight or enter Canada.

4. ArriveCAN is no longer a requirement.

5. Have a safe and stress-free flight.

Hello everyone, I want to book Qatar Airways but there is a layover at Chigaco.
Don't book a ticket with layover in the US because you'd need a transit visa. Look for another one with no layover in the US or two layovers in Europe.

Congratulations and have a safe trip.

Good day guys, just got a medical request..October 1st applicant. Is it a good sign of getting ppr?
Yes, a very green sign that your PPR would be approved. You are almost at the finish line, run your medical ASAP and update IRCC via webform.

Congratulations in advance. cool

My People

I just got a refusal letter now

Second time Applicant

May 27

I got medical request on 1st of November and I was pass around 15th of November then got BVL 25th of November.

Then, this morning I decided to send mails and webform to IRCC.

The refusal letter says
Purpose of visit.

Please my people, What should I do now, I'm just tired.
Sorry about the refusal, AbionaT.

You stated sometimes in November that your admission at NBCC was cancelled.

Questions:

1. Did you secure another admission with another DLI?
2. If yes, did you send the new LOA to IRCC via webform?
3. If you answer YES to question 2, was the new LOA acknowledged by IRCC?

Stay strong, it will end in praise.

Hello guys .

I’ll be traveling next week Tuesday . Pls what and what documents do I need to get prepared ? Do I still need covid test.
No COVID test needed, you can as well ask your airline to be sure. AriveCAN is no longer required as well.

Documents:

– LOI from IRCC
– Passport / Travel Document
– Enrollment Letter (if you have)
– Tuition Deposit Receipt (If applicable)
– Statement of Account

If you are vaccinated, take your vaccination card with you to the airport to avoid Nigerian Immigration delay.

Some of the docs may not be ask

1. Legalise his stay so all his family comes over
2. Wife only applies
3. Try a different country
Thank you, these options have been noted.

I was thinking the lady could claim sole responsibility on the child and back it up with court docs with a consent later from the husband.

Do you think this is feasible/possible?

Pardon my many questions o. cheesy

Your husband’s status in the UK will affect visa application made by any family member linked to him. He probably included his wife and kids name during his visa application, so whether you mention his name or not they will know.
Both the wife and the kid were included in his application, just confirmed. shocked

Yes his status will definitely have an impact. According to the guidelines, both parents must apply together. It wouldn't affect wife's application but the kids will be refused.

Refer to so as to give you an idea https://www.nairaland.com/6954875/uk-student-visa-tier-4/918#114792440

Hello elders.

Please I need clarifications on this issue.

A friend is planning to apply for student visa for herself and her kid. However, the husband is already in the UK and out of status (visiting).

Question: Would the hubby's status (overstay) affect the family's student visa application?

How can they go about it? Your answers, advices, and suggestions would highly be appreciated.

Many thanks.

Hello, house,

I submitted my application 3rd of August,
Medical passed 12th of August.

I got a mail requesting my updated loa on December 1st.

Updated loa submitted December 2nd.

Here is my question,
Is the application still look positive?
Yes, it looks positive. They most likely needed the updated LOA to finalize your application. Continue sending emails and webforms get a decision quickly.

Congratulations in advance.
