CelebritiesA Nairalander Meets Hell At Mushin by corperscorner(op):
D Xperience of a Chemical Engnrn Grad.

I set out for an interview of a job I applied for some few weeks back, neatly dressed with a red tie and black suit. To my surprise, the address of the company happens to be a bungalow located at Mushin8-|. I initially felt the company prolly prefers keeping a low profile, so I entered the building to find out I was in the passage of a face-me-i- slap- u haus:]xx. I strtd developing a rage from within, but the optimistic syd of me told me to go ahead as they would say "winners neva quit", I went ahead and asked after one Mr Segun Bamgbose who happens to be the Managing Director of the aforesaid company and to my surprise, a boy pointed to a door with worn strings and told me, "won sun lorwor"~:-).*he is sleeping*

I began flaring from within, but for the fact that it was the ryt address and the person himself was living there made me wanna see it tru. I banged on his door and a thick voice came from behind the door sayin "waray wo niyen". *who is that mad fellow*

I composed myself and said "I'm ken Obiora, and I'm suposd to be meeting one Mr Segun for an interview".

Then he said, "Haaa, iwor nor ni mon durode kin to gbagbe sun lor, gbori wole".:s *u r d one vbn waiting for bfur i dozed off* I entered and found myself in the middle of one-room apartment stuffed with locally branded pesticide commonly known as "e dey kill cockroach". Then he began to speak, he introduced himself as the MD/CEO of Sorle lasan (just drop it). And told me to bring my credentials, I was so pissed off ma body stood still wyl I watched this rotten fellow pick up my brown paper bag to remove my credentials wyl he uttered dese words as he opened my envelope: "Bsc ni mo fe oh, ti o ba ni Bsc mio le gba si shey oh, wa ko waray ara e jade fun mi ni":]xx:]xx. *its Bsc i want, if u dont hv Bsc, i cant employ u, u'll v to pack ur madness and gerrout*

Den, I culdnt help it, so i wept...just for him to say: "waray ni e ni, ki lon pa e ni gbe, emi o ko waray je oh, ewo ni ekun arindin"8-| *r u mad? wats makin u cry, i dont giv a hoot abt ur madness oh, y d tears*

Afta goin tru ma credentials which I didn't care if he did or not, he said, very gud result, 2nd class upper noni mon wa, I'll make u my PA.
Then he told me my job will be to attend pesticide sellers meeting, attend to his fone calls weneva he is asleep, market his brand on my facebook page....blablabla. I felt so sad I couldn't wait to listen to the rest bfur I found ma way out.

Too much emphasis on education, for crying out loud, we all have one skill or the other, why not develop it and bcom great entrepreneurs, an average Nigerian graduate goes up and down looking for who to work for, a lot sit at home lazying around hiding under the canopy of unemployment. What we need now is job creators not job hunters, hundreds of thousands of graduates are bin dumped into the labor market every quarter with no job. Smh. We need to encourage skill development. A friend of mine was forced to study medicine by his parents and dis dude prefers IT, very handy wen it comes to programming and IT skills, but he went ahead to study medicine just to pls his parents after graduating he dumped dat result and went after certifications in IT, d guy works for 3 different companies as we speak as IT consultant, working only on calls and making his millions. Our parents too join for dis matter.

kITATITA:
The Boko Haram thing lingered because our forces dived into a war without strategy; perhaps because we were goading them on. Now I understand that the military is developing strategies and partnerships. If you want real time action photos and videos of what our forces are doing, remember that BH has enough supporters and sympathizers. Public scrutiny, with questions on international best practices will emanate.
Sympathy is the challenge here......should we be reminded that hundreds, if not thousands of lives have been lost to this insurgents.

Each time we come up with possible ways out of the sluggishness of combating this menace, we often allow menial things sweep us off our reasoning feets.

Things need to be put in place so we can all be carried along. Fvck international best practices. Would these whites say they haven't seen enough graphic photos from the mayhem caused by these insurgents?

I beg to differ,....but truly, if they don't stand to some gain, why should anyone sympathise with terrorists?

Enough is already being done in information dissemination from the President's media team.
You don't expect every information on BH to be in the public glare? This is strictly an intelligence issue and such must be kept highly classified.
One major reason we have had the BH matter this far is the the consistent leakage of intelligence report and information.
We should be hopeful that the carnage stops and that should be our concern
Can't believe you digested those lies...seeing is believing.

What information is there to leak in a live footage which is supposedly to show the tax payers how the boko haram guys are being dealt with; with the ammunition purchased with their money?

So far....it doesn't look like there is any form of intelligence report to start with. If there is (which I am quite certain there is none) how exactly would that refocus a camera's len from capturing a flesh being torn apart by bullets?
PoliticsWhat Nigerians Want - Buhari (PIC) by corperscorner(op): 8:35am On Aug 02, 2015
I think it's high time someone told the media aides of the President or the DSS guys.....that what Nigerians truly want is a consistent feedback and reporting on the fight against Boko Haram.

I have purposely been silent on this issue for months, hoping at least; one of the several mouths employed to eat at the Federal Level will drop their spoon for once and put on their thinking cap on this issue.

It's long overdue and we keep treating this insurgency issue like it's nothing....some even leverage on it to orchestrate high level propaganda.

Apparently, Buhari just stepped into power and so far, I commend his efforts and his ability to rebuild ties with the US. One thing he truly needs to know right now is that 'NIGERIANS WANT A CONSISTENT REPORT ON THE PROGRESS THE MACHINE-GUN KELLYS' OF THE ARMY ARE MAKING AGAINST SHEKAU AND HIS GOONS'

What we require is not rocket science. It's as clear as crystal. We want live footage of the event. Entertain us at least. Let us see how exactly they are winning the battle. It might sound absurd but that is the only way we can truly trust anybody is winning the war against insurgency.

Not by the army general or DSS chief, telling us they've killed Shekau three times and the dude still keeps releasing videos. It's so disheartening. I hope now that we have an ex-combatant in Aso rock, I hope he'll shape up these fat pot-bellied generals to do the needful which would in turn earn the government the trust of Nigerians.

God bless PMB, God bless Nigeria.

CelebritiesDiezani Plans To Fake Death To Avoid Buhari's Probe: PICS by corperscorner(op): 6:15pm On Jul 28, 2015
According to the latest information reaching my desk right now. It has been gathered that the outgoing Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke has orchestrated tight plans to fake her own death in other to avoid the scrutiny of the former dictator turn President, Muhammadu Buhari.

The social media manager of the Minister has begun an online hype aimed at making the general public believe Mrs Diezani is critically ill and currently being admitted to an hospital in London. This is totally false.

Our area correspondents had since filed a report with concrete evidences disclosing the details of this devious plan being cooked by the former minister to hide in Brazil while giving Nigerians the impression that she has been called to glory.

You may want to recall this is the same woman that left her country to build a refinery in Brazil with the nation's fund, amidst other controversial moves she had made all in the name of living the good life. In addition to this, her last born is said to own a private jet worth 160 million alongside their family home in Europe acquired with a whooping sum of 20 million pounds.

Kindly get everyone in the know as I and my aides will work relentlessly to ensure this evil woman is brought to book.

And to her media aides reading this. Tell your boss that even if she dies, we will ensure her corpse gets probed accordingly.

God bless Nigeria...
