it depends on the goods and supermarket in question, many a times some wholesale goods at the supermarkets are way cheaper than in regular markets but because of the mentality people still go to the regular markets thinking its cheaper, irrespective sha, the thing is goods are generally way cheaper in this slash price promo.

most goods you buy from the regular market are being packaged too, foods stuff like sugar, salt ,garri, oil, etc have all been packaged, so don't deceive yourself that shopping in the supermarket is for expensive people, it's not, rather it's for smart people who go their to buy goods at cheaper rates without having a fear of buying fake products, so I'd advice you make use of the chance and stock up, believe me you won't regret it.

I was at ShopRite Ota yesterday and I noticed the way people are rushing to buy rice and other foods items due to their ongoing discount promo on groceries.

truth is Rice in this country has no replacement, any form of swallow can come close sha because it's more native but Rice really has no replacement

Nice information @op, but I think irrespective of notch area or not, one can easily enjoy watching a movie or playing games on his smartphone if it has a big screen. A bigger screen gets the job done.
