Even in the animated cartoons, there is a cartoon where the children of avengers had to fight Ultron because ultron killed all their parents.

Thor gave Hulk some good lightning. They had to cheat and knockout Thor with the implanted taser so that he wouldnt fry the HULK. Watch the scene in Ragnarok again.

Thor is a God. He cannot die. On the other hand, if you beat the Hulk wella, he will revert to Banner. Also, the Hulk has 2 funny weaknesses- puppies and magic.

I'm not a DC fan, few weeks back I was all crazed about Spiderman Into the spiderverse I gave it a 10/10 here on Nairaland but that doesn't mean I should be hypocritical when I see something wrong

The issue I have with the movie is the message it passes

a) Brie Larson, despite the controversy surrounding her, is an Oscar winner and more well known than Zachary Levi
b) The idea of Shazam! may be childish to some (I don't think it does but some might) while Captain Marvel will likely seem appealing to all ages. The title for Shazam sounds kind of like a childish word while the title Captain Marvel literally has the word Marvel in it and Marvel is the highest grossing movie franchise ever so if people heard about those two movies without knowing anything about them besides the title, I bet more would be interested in Captain Marvel.
c) Marvel movies have gained way more fandom and love from audiences than DC movies. People will still have a great taste in Marvel after Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp while not being as interested in a DC movie after Justice League. (Aquaman was good but DC will need more than that to catch up with the MCU)

That being said, i expect it to have strong enough legs to carry it to at least 700 million worldwide. That would be a hit for its size in my opinion

Do you know how much Disney loses in HULU, the streaming service? Yet they keep pumping money into it because they want to keep Big Competitions like Netflix and Amazon at bay.
Why do you think they are starting the Disney+ Streaming services? It is estimated they will not make profit from the service even in the next 5yrs after it starts. But Disney will be spending between $200m $1B to keep it running. Do you also know why? To keep their content out from Competitors hands.

So you shouldn't be saying things you have no absolute proof of certainty as if it's the truth.
The total Production Cost and Marketing alone of Cappn Marble is more than $300m, but Disney will not tell you that.
If Disney knows that boosting Cappn Marble with at least $200m - $300m will help make the movie look good because they know they will make it up in Endgame, then they will do it.
You should know this by now.

By the way, i thought you said you are not a Marvel fan?
