I reside around Nkpolu axis.

The diseased was actually shot by the Army this morning, and not Police.

Nkpolu Community organized the protest out of frustration. According to them, they have complained severally to Rivers State Government including Obiakpor LGA and Federal Govt to profer solution to the prevailing flooding of the Nkpolu junction of the East-West Road to the effect that business activities around there have been shot down. Vehicles are sharing only one lane.

The protesting youth resisted the Army from de-blocking the road. The angry Army was supposed to shoot in the air to scare the protesters and not at human beings. Also, some persons sustain bullet wound.

The angry youth in retaliation looted shops around the Nkpolu junction, vandalized parked vehicles and above all, set ablaze a nearby fast food.

I believe This incident could have been avoided, if both parties had exercised restraint.God bless you my friend u know what went wrong don't mind those people saying nonsense
