Answer to Question 1 U={100} S={28} G={30} F={42} S n F = {10} (spanish and french only) S n G = {8} (spanish and german only) G n F = {5} S n G n F = {3} I. Those who speak no language = U - (number of those who speak at least one language) = 100 - (13 + 20 + 30 + 5 + 7 + 2 + 3) = 100 - 80 = 20 II. Those who speak only french = Total french speakers - total speakers of french and any other language = 42 - (7 + 2 + 3) =30.

Nice job. You're doing what I like. Kudos! I checked out the physics section. It's a long way of doing things I can do easily with my calculator. Try making algorithms that could do all the work for us and leave us lazy -- that's the way to sell. Someone can use MATLAB or even any programming language that suits the job to write scripts that compute all values needed despite missing variables. |

Craigston: The topic and the content of the article are discordant.
No credible information was gotten from anyone on the flight: how did saharareporters gather their information?
The use of language in the report is grossly unprofessional
The report is focused on the Minister aggressively and gives little information on other important details.
This is propaganda and is defamatory in intent.

Appleyard: Except they have some secret weapons lurking behind closed doors, or without an overt involvement by the Russians, the Iranians stand no chance against the US.
AND THAT IS A FACT! Obviously, they're not acting alone. Russia has also been dishing out threats recently. China's alliance with Russia is a big threat (Russia alone is a strong force against the US and so is China). These countries are forming coalitions not out of cultural compatibility and genuine interest but to end the reign of their common enemy. |

Iranian general ‘welcomes’ war with US
May 18, 2015 Print Email 78
Despite ongoing nuclear negotiations, Iran’s military appears to anticipate going to war against the US. By: Aryeh Savir, World Israel News
As Iran and the P5+1 negotiate a final deal regarding the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program and the lifting of sanctions on Iran, a high-ranking Iranian general declared that its forces are ready to wage battle with the US. In an interview on Iranian TV earlier this month, Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Deputy Commander Brigadier General Hossein Salami threatened the Americans, saying: “We welcome war with the Americans,” MEMRI (Middle East Media Research Institute) reported. “I tell the Americans again…that the age in which political superiority is gained through threats, intimidation and even military force has come to an end. The Americans should compare their past military victories over feeble armies…with the outcome and consequence of confronting the great of Islamic Iran,” said the general. The US aircraft carriers would be destroyed, its air bases in the region burned and the skies set ablaze, he said. “We have built our strength for the purpose of long, extended wars… more than for the purpose of peace, compromise, and dialogue with them,” Salami stressed. Training to Confront the US The Iranians attack a replica of a US aircraft carrier. (PressTV) The Iranian armed forces have recently conducted several large-scale military drills, including those specifically simulating war with US forces. During a naval exercise in February, the Iranian navy fired two ballistic missiles that blew up an Iranian-built, life-size replica of a US aircraft carrier. The target was completely destroyed by the missiles, reports say. The drill included maritime mine operations by speedboats as well as the firing of four coast-to-sea missiles in the strategic Persian Gulf region and the Strait of Hormuz. Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi, RGC’s navy commander, stated last April that “the Americans and the entire world know that the American navy is one of our targets, and it will take us 50 seconds to destroy every US warship.”

I hope to learn C too. I think the reviews it's been given make it look scarier than it is. Modified I now see the importance of C and I strongly recommend it wherever it's necessary. Although modern C++ compilers have been well-improved and C++ programs can run very fast (sometimes 4 times faster than Fortran programs which used to, sometimes, run as fast as Assembly programs), C still rules when size and portability is crucial. Many legacy programs are still written in C and need to be maintained since porting them to newer languages can be both stressful and counterproductive, considering the resources and systems for which they were written. A knowledge of C places you in a good position to maintain such systems. And you will be well-paid for it. |

tosyne2much: I just smh each time I see people talking aggressively and raining curses on guys each time a topic like this arises
Not every guy who lay hands on ladies is happy doing it. Sometimes it just happens unconsciously which might later put you in deep regrets
Sometimes, my mom can be so annoying that she stretches my tolerance to the end point that I feel like engaging in a physical combat with her, just that it's not just possible
I have never lay hands on ladies and I will never but I think it can be justifiable depending on the context or situation
Personally, it's very evident to me that many ladies seem to take advantage of the fact that the society kicks against a guy beating a lady, therefore, they ride on you and even do nasty things that warrant beating cos they know that people will rebuke you if you dare try that
My elder brother told me that during his 100L, a lady has once registered a slap on his face in the lecture room just because he missed his steps and accidentally stepped on her sandal. She added another slap even when he said "sorry"... in that case, if he retaliated, would you call him a misogynist ? In that case, she deserves a vacation in an ICU, being a stranger. For someone close as a wife, there are better ways to deal with it. @topic It seems the woman has a 'passive dependent personality disorder', or she's financially imprisoned to him. If these be not the case and there are no minors involved, hoping there are no other constraints, she needs to hit back in some way. But if there are minors, the law can help pocket his hands. An eye for an eye; a tooth for a tooth. But love your neighbor as you love yourself. |

Mwtcheeew!!!
Person wey go get cancer, go get cancer abeg! This is actually true and I think it should be common knowledge. Those legalizing abortion should tell us if they wished they were quit from the womb for outside factors which they know nothing about. It's like killing the children because there's a threatened genocide which you don't want them to face. Or taking food away from the starving ones because there's a threat of famine. |

I created it to check against things like insurgents, Ok imagine a scenario when we all have an identifier, something that ids us, suppose we came up with something like that, fate of this 200 girls or so,wouldn't have happened in the first place. And the government mandates that you have it, otherwise certain rights would be denied you, that said, you don't have it, you are not a Nigerian citizen. In government sector too, ghost workers, it would trim the ghost workers, and there idea of one person having to siphon the whole money wouldn't be a good idea after all. My invention was built to aid Nigeria and not to bring problems for the nation, kindly do not misunderstand me. It won't do anything bad to the nation, I promise you that, it would help even you and me move forward. God bless. You for your time I'm not afraid of abusive surveillance. I'm just not in support. A country like Nigeria doesn't need such now. Usa is heading the wrong way with it. I won't say anymore. Just watch usa. Once your work goes into th control of the state, you'll be surprised at the dictatorial tendencies and propensities of those rulers. A database of citizens' names is a great tool in itself, then supported by the features you could add. |

You want to have government picking on us always? You need to see what it has done to USA. This should face a strong repulsion. Our national I'd and voters registration is enough for them to stalk us. And you'll have to manage a large database effectively. |
