disillusioned so called docs or med students always looking for the slightest opportunity to show themselves, I'm probably goin to feel stupid coming here to solve plenty mathematics over a simple question asked by someone who isn't into dsame field as i am just because I'm an engineer, u guyz need to grow up.
Maybe we all need to grow. Yes we do. No one showed off. Those are simple anatomy anyone can know better. Just for the curious. If you don't care, ignore it: you're not everybody. BTW you rep engineering? I like that. But nobody referenced being a med student. Gym instructors and therapists also know those. I wish you good success in your pursuits, sir.

Hahahaha. This man, you just dey intimidate innocent nairalanders with your knowledge of anatomy. Aside you and I, I bet no one else knows what you're talking about. It makes sense to me, but I doubt if it will make sense to the lady in distress who opened this thread.
I see. All I'm trying to say is that she has caused muscle imbalance for herself. She has altered the normal form of her muscles and she may now have the large hips and asses most girls crave (they call it their assets; I wonder how much revenue it generates for them and what service it renders to society -- what problem does it solve?). And she has put herself at risk of arthritis, overweight and obesity (implicitly), sports injury and many problems. Okay. OP don't worry, it may not be that terrible yet. Just start exercising. You may need to consult a therapist before you start.
For your addiction, you can either stop it or find a better way of doing it. I recommend the first. It takes will, discipline and a change of the mind.

You have suggested a lot already. These suggestions should be implemented.
I suggest this topic should be pinned so it won't get lost and more suggestions can be added from time to time. It'll always need improvement as long as it exists.

Lol. See your moniker sef.
*Modified*
Muscles, whether those that pace themselves or the voluntary ones always get bigger from continued use. The only proven way to dissuade a bulging muscle is from disuse. This is basic biology. So quit empowering those thigh muscles, though I seriously doubt if it is what you are doing that is increasing your thigh size. I can bet my practising license that what you have there is fat, not increased muscle bulk. The buttocks, waist and thighs are common places of fat accumulation in women.
On how to quit self servicing, no advice will be better than your own will to quit. If your desire to quit is greater than the pleasure you derive from it, you'll win that war. Cheers.
Disuse of a muscle causes it to remain dormant in size and growth (it'll grow unnaturally and out of proportion with the other healthy muscles: so, they're relatively dormant). Her case seems one of promoted activation of the hip adductors and stretching of the hip abductors. The hip abductors suffer disuse and elongate, and the hip adductors grow tight and shorter. The glutes also suffer disuse and grow weaker, larger (not denser) and, most times, the hamstrings become hyper-activated to compensate for the dysfunction of the glutes so they become shorter. The quads may lengthen too. The sartorius also weakens. This sets her up for a knock-knee condition.
I hope I'm correct

Is there any record of God creating a bisexual in the Bible ?
I know that any creature that has a soul and testifies that Jesus is the Christ and the Son of God, and believes and lives accordingly will be saved. Even the demons you cast out in the name of Jesus were once believers: they became so low when they rebelled.

Well, God created them male and female. So who created tran-genders? Judgment day will be the most eventful day ever.

I'm still trying to think of something good. But I think we need some more automation on Nairaland. Posting topics which are properties of another website, usually without alteration and with credits to the source, is a drudgery. We need a 'share' feature, maybe similar to sharing on facebook. Like a plug-in for blog owners who post content from their blogs: an API for sharing content to Nairaland. It'll be really helpful.
Also, this section should be sub-categorized into different sub-sections: general, critiques, sections based on different technologies, etc so we can filter information more efficiently and participate actively in our areas of interest.
It is easier to read content via feeds (mostly for us to whom our data bundles are like lifelines) than to load entire pages. So, the different sections and sub-sections can have their own news feeds. Or you can have feeds for new topics, new posts, most answered, etc generally for each section of Nairaland (most important to us now is this section).
I'll like to see an on-Nairaland private message feature -- at least for this section. The user should be able to set permissions for PM though. It'll help us solve problems easily. It won't discourage community learning, but problems like some little inquiries can be resolved personally. In fact, it'll make us better friends.

Throughout last year, the naira was at 165 - 168 to a dollar.

World oil prices slump affected many countries especially those dependent on crude oil/natural gas like Venezuela, Russia

Comparing this chart, you will see how the fall of oil crude prices negatively affected most currencies, remarkably the naira held on very well compared to others but recently uncertainty following the postponement of the election have created an artificial slump which the central bank is trying to gauge by closing the markets,.

If you think like Buhari that you can control world oil prices then I wish you success in the wilderness of your ignorance
That chart looks more like what USA suffered during the economic recession in 2008. And speculations show that such a slump is likely to happen soon. '401kaos', a book by Andy Tanner has some talk on it.

Cool, something like that has been done here before and I think it was discontinued because of the reward parts. It will be better if the problems are presented for people to solve so that they can improve on their skills without necessarily getting any reward, learning in and of itself is a reward.
Maybe giving them a reward of points can help. You know that eagerness to increase those numbers: something similar to likes. They'll accelerate their learning, consciously or unconsciously.

BTW how did the interview with Christine Amanpour go?
Buhari -- denting Nigeria's image since always.

Both economies are really ailing. But ours is ailing from corruption. You can't underestimate the influence of greed: they don't mind crashing ours since it'll increase our dependency and boost theirs.

Yes they want Buhari. But it's to control Nigeria's economy as they did during Buhari's rule. They want to suck it dry to save their ailing economies.

I don't remember any. I would not want to spend my time on anything I regret. I know they're many, but let them rest. Carrying them with me will hurt only me. I understand you OP, but a careful dissection of your case may reveal you're not totally to blame. Maybe you're just a bit neurotic. A well-done therapy may prove your parents had a part in it too. Just let it go. Haven't you paid too much for it in your flesh? He was one man who didn't get the best of you. But think about the many who can benefit from the rich goodness abiding in you. I'm not trying to acquit you of your own fault: I'm only saying you should reconsider the real extent of your fault and how much you should pay for it; it may not be as much as you're paying. I wish you goodluck.
Politics / Re: The Gospel Of Change According To "Saint" APC by Craigston: 8:56am On Feb 18, 2015
Change, according to the tenets of the Anti-Progress Conspirators, is a forced attitude of expressly condemning the present administration because its leader is a southerner and a christian member of PDP, and doing all within and without the power of their evil minds to paint him black and recommend their substitute (a ruler who is the perfect incarnate of their best qualities) -- Buhari -- to the nation. This they try to achieve by exploiting the educational bereavement and religious fundamentalism of citizens whom they've diligently tamed into slaves by corrupt policies. Change is the acceptance of the grosspel as preached by ambassadors of poverty who have their heads abroad and their anus at home; they're all masquerades: they just change their masks frequently.

That's it. The muslims (terrorists) want Nigeria to become like Syria, Lybia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq and CAR. This can be achieved only under Buhari.
*casting my precious vote for GEJ. I'll be innocent of the woes that will befall this nation if Buhari gets what he wants*
