ProgrammingIs RSUST A Good Choice Of University For Computer Science? by Craigston(op): 7:34am On Jan 05, 2015
I'm about to register for the UTME examination and I
have Computer Science in mind. However, I'm
confused which university to choose. My choice is
influenced by every important issue, including
closeness to home (Port Harcourt). I thought of
RSUST, but I don't know how good they are at
Computer Science. Someone in the university told me
'...that department just dey there o...' Could you
please tell me whether they're good and any other
thing I should know.

If you can't understand what I mean, you have a problem with humor. Can't you just look away. Well, I now learn to ignore people like you.

it teach me never argue with mod even if dey re wrong
It's taught me that useless ventures are actively propagated by the majority as is the norm here on Nairaland: the density of useless topics on front page is a proof.
PS: I'm not arguing with the mods.

It's been a trend that useless posts make front page on Nairaland. Just in case it happens again.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Top Ten New Year Resolution Ideas You Can Choose From. by Craigston: 11:58am On Dec 31, 2014
» Reduce the time I spend on Facebook, Nairaland and others, and spend more time on important things.
How I Plan to Achieve This
1. Make use of the followed boards feature of Nairaland efficiently (which I already do), change my facebook notification settings to reflect only what I need, unsubscribe from unnecessary feeds and, if necessary, use a feed reader.
2. Visit those sites only in the morning, and chat only when important and necessary.
3. Delete/abandon accounts I do not need anymore.
Every other resolution, I think, should be kept to myself. Let the result speak for itself.

As 4 me, i wanna do this #BodyBuilding #AbstainFromSex #WannaPrayHarder #TakeMyStudiesSeriously #FarwellTo2014Failures #AbstainFromGalsWhims
Similar to mine. Especially the body building thing. Since I'm not registering at the gym now, 50 push-ups, 50 pull-ups, 100 squats, lunges, 500 - 1,000 skips, sit-ups, reverse sit-ups, each morning etc would help me. Sex and girls haven't been my priority, and they'll never. #MaleVirgin.

1. Now's the best time.
2. Easy decision. Forget Delilah.
3. Amen. Peace.

PoliticsRe: 2015 Budget: Rich Nigerians To Pay More For Luxurious Lifestyle by Craigston: 11:53am On Dec 27, 2014
It'll end up screwing the poor and the middle-class. When politicians who do not know the history of taxes and do not have credible financial intelligence are burdened with fiscal policies, everything comes spiraling down. I won't say much. Let everyone review their financial habits, preparing for imminent hard times.
RomanceRe: Why Men Are Helplessly Attracted To Ladies With Bigger Butts – Study by Craigston: 10:03am On Dec 27, 2014
When I see topics like this, I just feel sorry for the disciples of error. It's doleful to see gullible humans fall for this. And I pity the females that buy this. Maybe someday, I'll write on the terrible dangers of what they cherish: dangers that aren't to be risked for cheap pleasure. Just maybe someday.

u shouldn't encourage this type of nonsense.
what mikel did here is called "capital flight".
nigerian men r made for nigerian women.
So, you want him to waste his years of hardwork on a lazy-bums gold digger sitting in her father's house and serving the role of a family investment: carrying an exorbitant price tag for no value, and oriented with the stereotype that women are special people on whom men should spend their lives petting. They'll just sit there and:
Grow fat with the excuse that 'I'm a woman';
Won't work and seek to be productive, with same excuse;
Won't seek to be physically fit for the most stupid reasons, and yet they'll go about with feminist tags when their miserable asses get wasted. I've seen so many of them, so I know what I'm saying.
This is not a hasty generalisation. I have wonderful Nigerian girls here whom I would be really proud of. But the majority are terrible!

$1 per every xcaped chicken caught. So if you catch 1000 chickens in 1 day, that is $1,000 USD for you.
and. Everyone just got careful with their turkeys. No market. And who'll move around town snapping stray turkeys. C'mon. They've just seen December 25 blessing.
ProgrammingRe: We need programming projects to mess with and provide solutions by Craigston: 2:57pm On Dec 23, 2014
stevedeey:
Hello mate.
I am saddled with the responsibility of looking for outstanding project topics (any platform i.e web app, mobile app, game apps, and even desktop apps) which a group of developers will work on and provide solutions to(preferably project topics that have not been worked or making the already written better) .The project should be a solution to a problem.
Good you know that you're saddled. It's your homework. Think.
We are looking forward to carrying college students along and thereby help them to showcase there ICT entrepreneur skills.
Please kindly drop your project topic that you believe its feasible and can be carried out within a short frame of time.
Great projects are not dependent on time. That's why corporations exist. They can continue for ages. As long as the idea is alive. Those who conceived the vision of conquering mars did so years ago. Some of the have retired from the project, but it lives on.
please I will also welcome any suggestion/and documentaion, probably the way you feel/think the project could be approached.
Anybody who could help would be appreciated.
That's up to you. Think of something and let's dirty our hands with it. There are forums for that too. You get a challenge to build something. If it works, flaunt it.

How to use:
Insert non default SIM to your phone and allow it to boot to home screen. It should request for mep2 code, insert the first code if your phone is from verizon usa or insert the last code if otherwise
I'm already using an airtel SIM card in the phone and I've used it to subscribe for blackberry bundles. It doesn't request for mep2. Will I need to reset the phone?

I want to sell the above stated website and I need bids.

I actually want to sell because I can't keep the dream alive anymore and seriously can't keep waiting for the day of ripeness while things turn from bad to worse at my end. I want to do something physical offline.

I'll sell if the price is reasonable.
I understand. What iykepromotions suggested could be a good way to go. However, I think you could do more with that site. Take a full-time or part-time day job. Use your nights to develop that site more. It still needs improvements and you need marketing skill. That's not easy at all. Look at me here talking marketing skills when the Nigerian factors are at play. But it could work: maybe on the international platforms.
That's by the way. Matter on ground. Follow iykepromotions.

WebmastersRe: Which Pays More In Lagos - Selling Clothes In Boutiques Vs Web Designing by Craigston: 6:01pm On Dec 15, 2014
For good investment, start with what's possible now. If you haven't groomed yourself well to start web design, then selling clothes could be a good start. Sell during the day. Make as much as is enough for your upkeep and your studies (including generating power for your PC and other devices you use, books, data connection and all other barriers to entry that exist in this country). Then study at night. Make it a lifestyle. Soon, you'll be a master of two businesses. You can design a site for your clothes business, upgrade your packaging and services (you can have them shop on your site and offer home deliveries). You get a hint of my idea now? You'll get to a point where you won't need anyone to decide which to continue with. But you've created an asset and you can have someone employed to manage an arm of it.
