You said you want to check for number in the string. What would you like to do if a number is found?
You can use 'parseInt()' or 'parseFloat()' here.
if (parseInt(x) != "" ) {do something};

Are you the owner of the site? it needs a lot of improvements.
No I'm not. I think it's too complex for it's purpose. The owner should restrict some of those design modules to the forum section. A tutorials site should load fast and should not consume much data since the users will open many pages to read.
ProgrammingRe: New Hub For Nigerian Programmers by Craigston: 1:22pm On Nov 16, 2014
I found one: tswebschool. It seems it is meant to be a tutorials site, but it also has a forum. Maybe we can promote them. Let us help our fellow Nigerians.

My dear you,are so on point, but come to think of it you discouraging the hardworking artisans who toils day and night to fend for him/her self. E.g shoemakers, polish for 20 naira depending on the area, he makes max 500naira daily, while a beggar makes 1500 or even more. On a second thought he/she would be like why am I wasting time under the sun when I can make more BEGGING.
what I do is this I encourage those working by giving them outrageous amount for service rendered e.g knife sharper I give 200 naira for a service of 30 naira, also doorman at fastfood joints , shoemakers etc in order words u are encouraging hardwork and not promoting begging . WITH EXCLUSION OF THE REALLY CHALLENGED ONES
The Americans are known by some to tip well. That's how they encourage their citizens to work hard. The average American did odd jobs at some time. Check out the biographies of Zig Ziglar, Sylvester Stallone, Benjamin Carson, Richard Wright and many more. But they're usually encouraged by fellow citizens, not minding those that'll jeer. This year, a story of a woman who tipped a waiter in a restaurant so much that she could further her college education appeared on Yahoo News.

N200x60 students=N120,00

He just realised its a lucrative business
He miscalculated. He thought it would remain secret and add to his monthly salary which was about 30-40k. So he lost. I just confirmed from my sister. He collected from two classes: JSS1 (more than 58 students) and JSS2 (about 58 students). However, not all the students paid, so his expected fortune was not realized. He lost a salary greater than his loot. And since some students did not pay, he did not realize much: just enough to manage his parched greed for a moment.

We have headtags section which contains <head> items like page title and favicon
Use your developer tools or your wapka source code viewer to check it. That head tags form places the code you input between a default <head> element.

am not a guru o
but why not insert the header in the <head>
That would be wrong. The <body> element should be the enclosing tag for every other element to be displayed on the page. You use wapka. View the source code of any page on your site. You will find that the <html>, <head> and <body> tags are already input by default. The code you enter in your page editor is entered in a form that places this code between the <body></body> tags.

O think Google answers some questions faster than Nairaland. Anyway, thanks for bringing it to this forum so that we too can learn.

No dear.... don't get it wrong ok. For example you own a bag, and if i should come and found your bag on the floor and i asked who owns this bag; reply: Its spicylate's bag. #shikena. Same thing applied to <owner's risk>. wink
It should be "it's (contracted form of 'it is') spicylate's bag". Its is the possessive form of it.

Nigeria is the place where the tentacles of corruption strangle the talents and chances of the gifted less privileged.
Much determination and doggedness is required for one to succeed here while keeping a clean record.

woa! And that's ridiculous.....unfair to whoever would fall for that trap.

stil gon continue praying that God should help us all...
And let all say 'Amen'. Too many of them happening. In a school, an english teacher extorted N200 from each of the students in a class of about 60 students, promising them the school will give them a new english textbook. After days of waiting for the surprise textbook, a parent decided to ask the school authorities why the delay. Then, the man was summoned. You know what happened. He was fired.
Lately, I saw a poster with his photo on it, inviting yet another set of unsuspecting children to a motivational talk or something like that.

you can imagine what's happening in our society these days.......God save us
It's really terrible.
A man was caught in an act more terrible than this. He had some fake #1000 notes and he used them to buy things from people. He would not buy much: just #100 recharge card. So he gives you a counterfeit #1000 note and you give him original notes. He would have made #900 free then.
Nairaland GeneralRe: This Begging Business! by Craigston: 9:03pm On Nov 11, 2014
Begging, or alms acquisition, is a lucrative business, especially in a religiously dense and tense society as the one we live in.
A friend once share his experience with me, and it goes thus:
On a cool morning on his way to work, he was approached by a man who requested for a favor or #50 to pay as bus fare to his destination. He was eager, maybe, to play the good samaritan, but what he had on him was #200 note. He explained that to the man but the reply he got opened his eyes: the man told him 'no worry, I get change'. He went ahead to give the man #200 and received #150 from the man. Business with no service.
Later that evening, we saw the man at the same junction waiting patiently for his next customer.

Check your CSS. Check the width property of the containing block: it may be in pixel value. Change it to percentage value if that's the case. Set it to 100%. And set margin to 0 auto as maekhel has said.

I had fluctuating weights and the horrible embarrassing marks showed up.
Now I have plus one case to factor in as a cause of stretch marks.
Who knows anything about the knock knee and/or any other question above?

Concerning the topic, I, sometimes, get unnecessary about them when I bare my body. But I usually do not care.
FamilyRe: Men With Stretchmarks , How Do You Cope? by Craigston:
I would like to ask the guys with stretch marks a question: were you, at any time, overweight? And, sorry for asking yet another, did your weight fluctuate alternately and unevenly overtime (like losing and gaining weight in irregular cycles)?
Your answers, together with google, will help me make a final deduction on the cause(s) of this phenomenon.

I also have those and on like areas of my body as most of you. My answers to the questions above are affirmative, so I suspect those to be culprits.

Maybe we can solve our problems together.
