5,11,12 and 13 says it all: run away; she's got her tools and she's digging really hard. |
I just can't see how this is related to science / technology. This is a defective ware in a wrong shop. This topic is wasting server space and should be deleted (just what I think). You keep degrading Nairaland with useless posts. |
Trypa:Hurrah. It'd been solved already. Thanks to the kind-hearted persons who shared their activation codes for free. Visit this thread for PDF to Go activation codes (after you've downloaded it from the link I provided earlier): get the activation code here. To have two readers, you can downloaded repligo reader and go here for the activation codes. |
DataViz Inc is hiring experienced Ruby on Rails developers and Technical Support personnel for internships. Check the details at dataviz. |
Trypa:Blackberry app store is very scanty. Most developers do not develop specifically for blackberry. Maybe because it's not open source so you cannot target a wider market: only blackberry users. Their little luck would be the new series that support android OS, so some persons would want to enjoy the best of both worlds--android and blackberry on one device. But there's a chance of the blackberry part suffering neglect and the app menu looking more android since their integration of android OS won't be so great an incentive for developers to develop for the blackberry platform. They should adopt the strategy Microsoft has adopted--going open source. You can't find a good PDF reader for blackberry if you're using less than OS 10. Maybe you can get the paid Repligo reader or the paid PDF-To-Go. I have the latter for free 30-day trial. All I do is reset my phone after 30 days. You can download Documents-To-Go from dataviz Again, those readers are good but not free. But free versions are available for android and iOS. Blackberry loses again. |
Walexey:Everything evaluates to '-2'. Step 1 evaluates to '-1', step 2 to '0', step 3 to '4' and step 4 to '-2'. |
Djtm:okay. Good to know. Thanks. |
pelij:Yes o. In 3D.
|
Djtm:lol. I thought that moniker has also been banned. When are you going on your next ban, or rather, leave: as it's normal? |
Trypa:PDF readers are scarce for blackberry. But you can get Adobe reader for OS 10. Lower versions are unsupported. They use blackberry's profiteering PDF reader, 'PDF-to-go' or Cerience corporation's repligo reader. None of the two is free. |
It's really strange. It seems like a counter, maybe counting logs or what we can't tell. Maybe it's your log index. Pardon my confusion. |

Prodeegee: Amen. May He bless you too, even more. Peace we still pray. Yes. His peace to us. Not that of the flesh and worldly peace, but His inner peace and reassurance by the Holy Spirit. The one for which He said, '...in this world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer: for I have overcome the world.' |
dhtml:hahahahahahahahahaha. You strong o. Nairaland have given you several quits but you still remain. And you're familiar so with the ban system that you know when things change. Funny post. It sounds like you're always expecting some ban so you need the notification to know when it comes. Even bank no go always tell you when person wire you cash na (except the manager smiles at you like he does with Dangote) |
sonOfLucifer:2 Timothy 1:8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God. (that proves my PS in my last post) 2 Timothy 2:15,16 'Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth' So I have no reason to babble in vain. But know this: 2 Timothy 2:19 'Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.' Concerning this topic, this should be a light: 2 Timothy 4:1-5. May I be a slave to God if it's needed for my redemption to be complete, for I do not own myself. I am his invention. If I can instruct a computer what to do and we can control our inventions, much more, and exceedingly greater, can the Lord Jesus do with me. I am at his service always. My will is His. singing in Michael Smith's words '...all I have is all from you and all I want is all of you... I'm a fool but still you love. I'll be a fool for the king of love... Grace.' |
sonOfLucifer:Who do I blaspheme? My claims are harmless to all those who love truth and light, but they're venom to the children of darkness. I owe no man an apology for this. I should not reply you on this considering you've willingly sold out your whole being to the devil and blasphemously flagged his mark on you, evidence being your moniker. But I have one message for you: you're dining with the hater of your soul and he drags you to hell while soothing the the temporal pain with filthy lucre. I pray you realize your error soon: before it's too late. The signs tell me that the time is really near. Don't quote me again. PS: Apostle Paul let me know that the kingdom of God which I herald on earth is not one proven with evidence or wisdom of men, but of the power of God Almighty. I won't say more. Let the prophecies be fulfilled - yes they will. |
They're disillusioned by their fears. They know the truth but they hold it in error. They fear to tell their congregations that the worst is yet to come: hence, most of those who are spoon-fed in the congregations will find their faith shaking with confusion and may yield in compromise to the world when the pangs of all that is to come hit them. The desire for peace will leave them vulnerable to the man of sin. Everyone wants peace but satan has taken the peace everyone desire from the hearts of some and have used them to destroy their own peace. Who wants to wake up one morning and see all our establishments and society destroyed by something, say a natural disaster, war or whatever? What do you think the rider on the white horse who had a bow but no arrows (in Revelations) represent? I tell those around me that the worst is really yet to come: that even as we go about our businesses and establishments, we should know that they'll last for just a while. |
Forget all these and face your business. When America will receive it's share of what is to come, you'll prefer Nigeria to her (that's if the texts are true). Whatever it is, the world is beyond what we see or think, so I set my eyes on things eternal. |
SirHouloo:Okay, so you would prefer CSC then? I checked other areas under EEE and I don't find any of them interesting. Just the networking, and if it is as you say, then I think CSC has me. |
I don't book space - I occupy space because I'm matter. So I formally declare myself as the true occupant of this space: every other acclaimed occupancy is false and fraudulent. BTW is the op booking space? I can't find useful information there. Just an unpaid ad. May the mods delete this topic and other like it. They're wasting space on the server. |
afolag:That's one thing. I don't have a strong memory and I'm not good at retaining digits in memory for a long time. But my teacher who studies Marine Engineering is so good that he remembers the values he's been working with from the beginning of the calculations even after solving pages. He can remember the names of the planes used in the 9/11 attack and names of planes and ships made by USA and Russia. When I study anything, I get to understand it well. But retaining it is another problem. |
SirHouloo:Thank you. I also have a desire for networking so I need a field that allows me to get into it (networking) if the need arises. |
Hello. Nairaland. I have been torn among options of career fields to go into. Being good at different things can get you into some confusion. Now I'm considering EE and Computer Science. I need to know the pros and cons. I'm on my way to learning programming but I hate doing anything on the surface: if it's Computer, let me get all of the required knowledge, not just learning a programming language. |
Hello Nairaland. Could someone tell me where to get a resistance band in PH? I mean the rubber type. And how much could it cost? |
pseudonomer:That's why I get infuriated when someone tries to use emotional blackmail on me. And tears wouldn't move me. I've learned to think rationally, act by reason and not by emotion. 'An eye for an eye' denotes a rational and proportionate retribution. |
Surely, I'm not discrediting wapka in any way. But you gotta know the truth: that's if you care to. It's cool. Yes. But I suggest you reread my posts with discernment dripping all over you. Uh, Pelij18, what do you think would have happened to Linda Ikeji if Google never restored her blog? I think that should help you understand a big bite of all these. |
nobilis:Thanks, thanks and thanks. |
pelij18:Okay. I hope you know a good doctor that can help you in case of unexpected exit of wapka. I can't use wapka to build a community: all your data belongs to wapka and you'll have to rebuild all your functions again since it's not in a language that can run on other servers. Using wapka is like using BB codes: just an advanced version of it (maybe the back end version). You get? I wonder how you'll be able to transfer all your users to your new site if the need ever arises. Can you query wapka's database and get their usernames and passwords without being limited by wapka? And for the opinion that wapka can perform most of PHP's functions, I really doubt. You're limited by what Martins dictates. Can you use AJAX with wapka? It cannot even perform all JavaScript functions easily. Let your site start growing into an e-mammoth and you'll be surprised at what a shared free hosting on a risku platform like wapka can do to you: like I wrote earlier, get a doctor. Wapka is good though, but for learning purposes, I maintain. One thing again, extensive scripting can slow your page load time on wapka since your JS files aren't stored in a separate file. That's bad. Wapka doesn't support ftp: you code everything on your CP. Your users get to see errors when you test-run codes and it takes time for your CSS files to be updated. I like developing everything locally and upload when I'm done. Now, so much for wapka. |
nobilis:I downloaded PDF-To-Go and I can view the document, though it's limited as a trial version. I'll just reset the phone after 30 days and the free trial continues. I'll use the tutorial to understand the basics of the game, then, when I'm done with that, I'll find someone. |
dhtml18:Here is a quote from I came across: "I do not enlighten those who are not eager to learn, nor arouse those who are not willing to give an explanation themselves. If I have presented one corner of the square and they cannot come back to me with the other three, I should not go over the points again." -- Confucius |
pelij18:A wapka user can also be a blogger because you can create a blog on wapka. Blogger is just like wapka: only that it has a differences from wapka in its details. And it is more limited than wapka (just my thought) since it's blog centered. I'd use wapka or any other free site builder for learning only since I'm still on mobile (don't have a pc yet). Once I'm done with the freebies and I get a PC, off I go. I can't have my quality content jeopardized by the uncertainty of wapka's continual existence. |
nobilis:No. My phone (BlackBerry Bold 3) cannot view PDF files. I searched for mobile readers but I couldn't find any free and suitable reader. |
