If you are beginning to jog, don't over do it from beginning (the first day) due to (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS), which is muscle pain after starting new exercise or over stretching oneself. Be increasing the limit bit by bit especially if your state is among the early birds.

I met one guy during exams he was shortlisted for medicals during last recruitment, he thinks he might be disqualified then because he couldn't run. The guy said he was the only applicant from his local government. But week to the physicals he over stretched himself and had an onset of DOMS, he did not made it in time during the endurance test.

This is why I decided i won't start any jogging or running till that day. I will just do it that day. Makes me remember how i practiced heavily for javelin throw in my sec.school inter-house sport, only to end up with arm muscles soreness and i couldn't throw meaningful shit on the real day.

I wouldn't want to start running now because I'm sure i will have muscle soreness because it's being like two years i workout. Make i no go begin limp ahead because I know exactly how muscles react when you're getting to workout first time or after long time of no workout, you could get muscle tear.
So we do it that day lol.

But wait! You mean they disqualified that guy because he didn't finish the race in stipulated time? And he was the only one in his LGA? Waoo! Thought people here said they don't use race to disqualify candidate?

Beware of scammers

It's no scam, candidates have been receiving text and mail since yesterday. The mail contains the timetable too, first day for your state is for medical and documents screening while day 2 is for physical screening/endurance race. Even though I haven't received but i have seen like 5 already.

They shortlisted more than one per cadre even when they'll end up picking one for APL because someone might not show up again, just like during CBT. Considering they didn't send mail or text, some people might not be aware. No be everybody dey follow up.
But then they might still send text.

But not all LGA have more than one per cadre, some it's just one.

Anything that makes training drag till January is disastrous because if it drag till January they will still shift till after election which is February and that's a new government and new CG. U know what that can lead to.

But why will they spend such huge resources to contract test out just to employ 70 people.
70 is not more than what they should use for common internal replacement.

I'm very sure that was not a rifle bullet. Even if it were to be, it won't have come from a direct shot. Helmets cannot stop rifle rounds. If an helmet were designed to stop a direct hit, the impact shock will break the neck.
