God forgive me, you see those ebiras have been criminals for long. People almost abandon Okene rout to FCT because of there highway robbery. And when they finish there robbery they enter there villages and there people knew what they are doing.

They've always been violent except few of them. If car kill goat in that Okene road they will make sure they kill the driver and burn the car.

Hello guys, just got info of this thread a friend of mine, applied for civil defense then, I think he got connect for replacement. He has some worries I told him make I find out I'll give him feedback
Here are his worries

1. He applied via SSCE
2. How much is the salary of SSCE
3. Will he be able to further in his education?
4. He thinks civil defense is categorize into commissioned and non commissioned, what's the difference between the two.
5. If he falls into non commissioned, can he convert to commissioned?

Salary for SSCE is around 50k Eno reach 60k not so sure of exact figure but that's the range

He can further is education subject to approval.

Commission officers are those that fall under senior cadre, supretendent, starting with one star, they're the one always in command at operation or whatever, they entered with degree or rose through the rank after years, While non-commissioned are the junior cadre inspectorate cadre downward till the smallest rank, SSCE holder, NCE, ND, school of nursing, school of health graduates etc.

He can convert to Commission officer when he rise to the rank of assistant supretendent.


And finally, if your guy no stand for road where he wan stand? Lol. That's if he didn't end up in counter-terrorism self.
Na junior officer now, smallest rank. Though not all stand on road some still get posted to some places where they end up doing nothing but definitely na dem dey do the rough works, gate manning, garrison, check points, orderly, clerk, combat etc.

That will only mean they want to intentionally make people waste resources traveling to write test.

Can they employ everyone that wrote the test? Even with the low turnout.

So bringing another list will be absolutely useless.

The same as where I am. In some local governments, 3 or 4 people were shortlisted but only one single candidate showed up for the exams, I don't know why. But what do you think about such candidate since he is the only available candidate for the said local government?

The candidate should be preparing for camp except the candidate have some deformity that can disqualify him/her.

I think with the low turnout, majority of the candidate that wrote the test will make it.

There was low turn out in South West, Lagos center. Some states recorded less than 50% turnout.

Those people wey dey always shout say it's not about any pay or money or recieving compliments from surbodinates, it's the passion to serve.

Few weeks ago someone talked about more APL coming out on here, I don't know that person name again, we would have tag the person for update. If you're seeing this pls tell us something. So we can know when to expect.

Actually they didn't tell me they got it through connect. Once you are working in a place and people just resume like that... You already know how they got in.

Okay, but what I'm trying to say is, getting in through connect doesn't mean they don't merit it.

Lack of confidence is a different thing entirely. Some people are like that in office space, once you tell them oga is calling them they will start shaking. Just like people have fear of public presentation. Unless they are total olodo in office and they don't know shii, that will only justify if they don't merit it.

Na govt Job be this oo, rising to the apex office in govt agency doesn't mean you enter through due process or diligent. Na still that politics and lobbying they go still take beat you to the apex if you don't blend in.

I think the perception that one needs connection to get jobs makes it difficult for people without connections to apply for jobs even if they feel they maybe qualified for it. I think we need to be confident and avoid such sentiments when we apply for jobs and I think that's only when we will be able to clearly attack job applications with everything we have (I am not implying that if you have connections, you shouldn't use it but don't depend on it 100%).

In my department, only 2 of us got the job via interviews. The rest were through connections or just APL. Today we are the only guys with the most confidence in the department cz we know we got there on merit. Just cz people get jobs through connections doesnt mean we can't also get it on merit.

So only two of you are confident just because you didn't use connect to get in LMAO .

The fact they got it through help of connect doesn't mean they are not qualified or they don't merit it or you're better than them.

As I said earlier about the estranged FIRS apl making multiple come backs from the dead, here is same apl which was issued to my friend within 2 days of contact with the scammer around January this year. He was almost scammed. Please, shine your eyes.

After the occasion, he met Lai Mohammed (information minister) who was present also, he pleaded with him to help him secure a job anywhere as he is from kwara state also. See lai just told one of his assistant to give him something, they gave my guy 3k for T-fare

One thing northerns leaders will never do. They will always fight for there people in things like this.

One of my friend in one agency told me how they gave a Yoruba oga slot to bring people for replacement,but baba said he has no body , everybody was just amazed in the office like in this Nigeria,you have nobody that need job from your place even if na your street. Meanwhile in that same office, she said a clerk who is a northerner being helping his people to runs employment from within.

Our people no dey try. All those slot wey u dey see say dem dey sell na our people dey sell am through agents, slot wey dey supposed use help people in there localities.

Senior officer grade level 9 is between is 119k.

Assistant Manager which is grade level 10 is 149k.

So apparently FIRS didn't disburse the APL on 25th or 28th as stated here.

If he will plan with anyone, it will still be outside the building, once he refuse to go to HR department, don't pay him a dime.

I always tell people, APL is not a proof of anything, I'm skilled in graphics and I can easily do any APL that will even be error free.
Only when you do documentation you should pay any agent.

If you pay at the sight APL, u don jonze.
That scammer won't call you again to meet you I can bet. He knows he might be arrested.

I didn't want to say anything about this post but because for the likes of guys like me that are waiting for FIRS APL, I would like to share my experience today in the hand of a scammer.

I met a man on Saturday who connected me to another man with the idea of helping me with a federal government job. I reside in Abuja so I get to meet people steady and often tell them about my need of a FG job.

The man that I got connected with on Saturday said there is a slot at FIRS for him and it goes for 3M. I told him if it's real I am willing and ready to pay. Just this morning while at home I got a call from this so call connect to meet him at federal secretariat to collect my FIRS APL. I was shocked, as in within the space of 3 days my letter is ready?

I got into the car with my father and we drove straight to fed sec (Note, he doesn't work there and neither do I know where he work). We waited for about 30 minutes then we saw a black Prado 2019 jeep parked and there he was with a long brown envelop. He approached my father and I, lo and behold, it was FIRS APL staring right in my face with my name on it. I became so excited for a moment before I got back to my senses. How can letter be out within 3 days of giving him just my cv? I became skeptical.

Just immediately he started demanding for 3M before he will release the letter to me and my father. I told him money wasn't the issue but can he allow us all drive to FIRS HQ at Berger to confirm the employment before we do the transfer, man started to vex and said no, money first before going anywhere. We also insisted that confirmation first before payment.

After a while he made some calls speaking Hausa and then ended the call. Then he said fine, he will follow us but it has to be tomorrow. We agreed. I told him he should give me the letter so I can write out the documents I will be needing for documentation. He gave it to me and I shaply like a sharp guy snapped about 4 shots, (he didn't know) then I returned the letter to him, everyone departed. Just as he left, my father and I drove straight to FIRS HQ to go and confirm the image we have snapped. We met the security guys at the gate and we explained our purpose of coming. We showed them the snap shot of the APL and immediately they said it's fake.

Just for us to be certain, we were permitted to meet the HR management and we were directed to the office. We met a man who is a staff of FIRS and a member of the HR unit of firs. It didn't take him up to 5 seconds before he confirmed to use that the letter is fake and hope we didn't pay. We said no. He confirmed to us that FIRS are yet to issue letter to anyone and currently no documentation is ongoing so we should be careful about fake APLS.

We drove home and hopefully the fraudster will call us tomorrow to for the 3m he didn't work for.

The purpose of this long event that happened to me today is to let everyone know that as at today, no one has been issued APL and no ongoing documentation is taking place at FIRS.

That be said, let's All be careful about fraudsters as they are everywhere

Given information here I do it as my own wish nobody force me to do so just to help people with vital information, but like you are insulting me that I don't know the difference of those holding files & those for documentation. This people you saw in revenue house, did you ask to be sure they're for documentations of new in take?
Because when we call this our sponsor and feed them with information and it later turn out false can really make someone look like nuisance. Because you see people with file and documents doesn't mean they're new in take.

On different occasions people have come here to talk about FIRS that turns out false when we call. How do they do documentation for only 117 people since 3weeks ago and they're not yet done?

I appreciate your effort to bring information here but I'm just asking this questions so we can be sure and don't disturb our connect unnecessarily.
