Family › Re: Should A Woman Help Her Fiancé To Pay Her Bride Price? by crazyinlove: 9:33am On Jan 15, 2015 |
BreezyRita: I'm not sure where to post this. Mods help me out please
She's about to be married. The marriage requirements or 'lists' have been given to the husband to-be. Of course, he must have prepared for this. But the list is somewhat exorbitant and paying all these things will mean a less posh wedding........
My question: Should a woman who's financially stable assist her to-be with money for payment of the bride price or completion of the rites??
Is it advisable?? I supported my husband during our traditional marriage but I made sure the bride price and all the traditional rites, he paid for them with his money. I don't see anything wrong with a woman assisting the husband but please it will wise if you allow him to pay the bride price with his money. That shows how responsible he is and how he will value you in the future. So my advice, allow the guy to pay the bride price and handle everything in the list. If you want to assist him, you can take care of any of the other expenses. Biko, you shouldn't pay your bride price yourself. |

jswit: Ok thanks, we communicated everyday on yahoo. And also on phone, but I'm now in UK studying for madters . maybe I will try to call Mtn customer care from here to see what they can do. as for the yahoo, we will try to print it again with the years showing. Ok, cool! Cos it will be nice if you can submit both |

jswit: Hello house, the yahoo conversation I printed out for 2years is showing just month, date and time with both our names and messages, the problem is that the year is not showing...can we submit it like that or find a way to get the year print out with them? I will not advice you to submit it like that especially since the year is not showing. Is it only via Yahoo! Chat that you guys communicate. Maybe you should consider going to MTN/Glo/Etisalat to request for call log, that is if you guys communicate via phone calls too |

Hi guys, I have a question. Assuming the statement of account one used for their application was less than 30 days old by the time they submitted but after it became 30 days no decision has been made on the application. Is it going to affect anything. I know their requirement is that you should keep certain amount in your account for 28 days and the statement of account should not be more than 30 days old. |

jswit: Hello house, I want to print our yahoo conversation but its from 2012 to 2014 which is too many to print bcus we chat almost 8pages of paper in a day, should I print it randomly? Just print randomly but focus on recent ones, also add ones from previous years. What it means it will simply tell them that you guys are still communicating and also that the relationship has been existing for a long time. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Bishop Oyedepo Honors Wife, Says She Hasn't Stressed Him In 32 Years by crazyinlove: 11:19am On Dec 11, 2014 |
delishpot: I stand by my word. He lies or he just doesnt see regular squables in marriage as stress( in which case I will commend him) but to say not for once have they had any stressful moment in their marriage for 32 years? Abegi, he should tell me another lie. I do not need to be a christian to know that fact. Mere being a human being is enough to teach us all that no two humans can live together without any moment of stress. Even Jesus stressed marry. Marys pregnancy stressed Joseph. If you know him tell him to swear before God and man that what he said is the truth. If he lies let God take all he has except human lives. You will see he will start remembering the day mummy wanted to travel and he said no, the day he wanted Iyan and mummy made eba and he wasnt too happy, the day they had an arguement over what school junior should attend etc etc. Abegi. Mind you, I am not fighting against God I am saying these men using Gods name to lie to people should stop. My dear, he said his wife has not stressed him not that he has not experienced any stress, they are two different things. I am a married woman, and I am very sure no partner is perfect. My husband and I disagree on most occasions, we even quarrel but if you still ask me, I will tell you he hasnt stressed me. That doesnt mean we haven't quarreled or disagreed. What it simply means it is that despite our difference, we still find a way to come back to each other's arms, that what a marriage without stress means to me. I don't know what theirs is like but from my own understanding and meaning of stress in marriage, I can tell you that its possible he is not lying. |

delishpot: Ok. Brain wash mode turned on. And let his people shout Amen. Na so dem go dey lie dey cause their followers not to be able to see stress and dissagrements in marriage as part of two strangers getting to know each other and managing their differences. Rather they see it as evil and a sign that the woman is not submisive like Daddy GOs wife. All these men sef. They will destroy marriages in the name of publicity. These men just open mouths and talk gbagaaaaa! One of them must be a slave in that marriage. One of them must be a yes sir, yes sir partner for there not to be any stress in that marriage. The offering and jet is making someone endure that marriage. That someone just says yes to everything. Only a fool will believe this man and only a desperate woman will pray for for God to give her a man that will expect her to just sit in the house like a mouse and give him no stress. Only a. Bully man wil expect a woman to marry him and not have an oppinion of her own so he can make every decision and she has to do as he wants no question asked. Only a liar will say his or her spouse never Ever gave them stress at all from day one to 32 yrs into the marriage. Not even once. Abegi. I will advice you not to say what you are not sure about. This is a man of God, I don't attend his church and I rarely listen to his preaching but then your comments are unacceptable. |

Hi everyone, Good morning. Please I want to know how effective the teleperformance tracking system is. When I applied for my visa the first time, my status changed to Transfer to UKVI on the same day I submitted. However, this time around it is not the case, the status is still showing Application Submitted. Is this normal with them. |
