You don’t see those to compare. Clowns that have no business with Governance.

This is child’s play compared to what my eyes saw at one corporate party in Eko Atlantic Lagos.

They were like a swarm of flies… irritating crowd of effeminate men.

I was told the organization invited them to liven up the party. Like wtf

Only you sabi all this place, 😏
It’s a Pandemic in Umuahia where I come from. It is worse in calabar ( with all the sweetness of a calabar woman)

It is a powerful force in Lagos. Lagos is actually going the way of Thailand.

Politics / Re: Akpata: Good Judge Emerging In Nigeria Is By Luck, Says Ex-NBA President by cream1: 10:09am On Nov 18, 2023
DeLaRue:
This is not the way to speak of your country at an international forum.

Making unguarded and unqualified statements that denigrate the entire judiciary is ridiculous.

So all children and spouses of judges appointed into the judiciary in Nigeria are unqualified. And Nigeria is the only country where offsprings tend to follow their parents into their parent's professions. It doesn't happen in other countries

Do citizens of those countries go to international fora to demand intervention of external international agencies in their country's internal affairs?

Every little thing, some Nigerians will shame their country on the international stage, calling on the UN, USA, UK, EU to intervene. Is it down to colonisation-induced inferiority complex or what. You end up giving foreigners the impression that black people are unable to govern themselves.

Painting the entire judiciary as corrupt is disgraceful. Many judges are some of the hardest working and most poorly paid professionals in Nigeria. Many of them are not corrupt. It is so unfair to paint them all with the same brush.

Just because you're contesting as a Labour party candidate in a forthcoming election, you took to running the image of the entire judiciary through the mud before an international audience.

Are there no corrupt judges in America, Europe, South America etc. Do you see their lawyers running their country 's name through the mud at international conferences and calling for external intervention.

Challenges within the judiciary are not unique to Nigeria. Like other countries we have to find our ways of addressing them locally.

Since the Judge seems to be shameless let them be disgrace internationally. How did Sen. Lawal got his way to the Senate stills remain a Judiciary murder, because Justice was murder on that day.

Disgraceful set of thieves on robes.

Properties / 'Banana Island Belonged To My Father But The Government Stole It' - Remi Adeleke by cream1: 11:08am On Jul 06, 2023
My Dad left Nigeria🇳🇬 in his late teens to be educated in the West🇬🇧

After completing his bachelors and Masters in the UK🇬🇧, he created multiple business in the West 🇺🇸🇬🇧and generated more wealth than he could have ever imagined.

Dad brought all his talents and expertise back to Nigeria🇳🇬 with the hopes of creating a World Trade Center/African Wall Street.

When I was born in Nigeria🇳🇬 I was surrounded by wealth, servants, opulence and two loving parents who despite having it all, modeled the importance hard work, never being a victim and never being satisfied with mediocrity.

In 1987 the Nigerian government🇳🇬 illegally and corruptly stole all of my dad’s assets, including his man made island that’s now worth billions and was renamed to Banana Island.

While fighting the Nigerian government🇳🇬 in court, he mysteriously died weeks later.

We went from rich to poor over night.

Mom brought my brother and me to America🇺🇸

It wasn’t easy, as we literally started from the bottom in the Bronx🙅🏾

My brother and I applied what our parents instilled in us at an early age, and despite the plethora of mistakes I made, we both became very successful.

Without the opportunities America🇺🇸 has afforded my family, I’d be nothing. Yeah, America🇺🇸 isn’t perfect. We have our issues, just like every other country on the planet, but America🇺🇸 is one of the handful of places in the world where you can start with nothing, put in the work, and end up at the top.

I love this country🇺🇸, and I’m not ashamed to say it. And the moment I feel otherwise, I’m gonna pack my stuff up, teach my kids a new language and seek life elsewhere.

With that said, #HappyIndependenceDay 🇺🇸 #4thofjuly

In his Twitter thread, Remi said his dad left Nigeria in his late teens to study in the UK. He said that after completing his education which included a Masters, his father moved to Nigeria where he hoped to use his expertise and wealth of experience to create a ‘World Trade Center/African Wall Street’. He stated that he lived a good life until 1987 when the Nigerian government 'illegally took possession of his father's assets' including his man-made Island which he said is now known as ‘’Banana Island''.
