One of the most complex pieces of machinery made by man is the LHC. It has a circumference of 17 miles and it goes over 500 feet into the ground. It is also the most powerful atom smasher that has ever been created. When activated, the machine can create a black hole. It is believed that the black hole that the machine creates is also a porthole for time travel.

#4: The Disoriented Traveler
It is an urban legend that stems from the 1970s. It is a standard piece of ‘evidence’ that believers in time travelers present.


In New York City, 1951, a man was fatally hit by a car. When people investigated, the man was recognized by some as a missing person. What makes things strange is that the man went missing back in 1876. While his clothes matched the time of his death, items on his person suggested a time almost fifty years before.



Chris Aubeck, a folklorist, further investigated the story and found it to be a work of fiction. In fact, it was published before in a 1950s collection of sci-fi short stories. The story was called “I’m Scared,” and its author’s name was Jack Finney.
Rudolph Fenz was the name of the protagonist in that story.

#6: A Secret Project

Andrew Basiago is known as “The Gettysburg Traveler,” and is one of many who claims to have traveled through time. He says that he was part of a government experiment back in 1863. More specifically, he attended Abraham Lincoln’s address in Gettysburg.

He even shows a picture of that time and place, saying that he was a child the picture depicted. The government experiments were the Project Pegasus, as he claims. He also says that he was at Ford’s theater on the night of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination.

#7: A factory Worker With Impossible Technology

Many pictures from the past can show us difficult things. This photo is no different. It was a screen grab from a camera back in 1938. It shows a group of workers coming out of a factory, but there’s one problem. The smiling woman in the light dress seems to be talking on a handheld portable device. Back in that time, there were no wireless towers or any device like this one.



This film is genuine and untampered, and the workers are from the Dupont factory based in Massachusetts. Some say the woman may just be having some fun. However, it is unlikely that anyone would have thought of a joke like that. Phones were just not meant to be that small or portable back then.

In December 2008, Chinese archaeologists discovered a giant tomb that was believed to be an undisturbed, 400-year-old coffin of Si Qing in Shangsi County. That's pretty old, guys. Before they even managed to crack the lid and find out what was inside, however, they came across something even more amazing than a centuries-old bag of bones in the soil around the outside of the tomb: a small piece of golden metal, shaped like a watch, with the time frozen at 10:06, wth the word ��'Swiss��' engraved on the back. A watch that couldn't have been more than one hundred years old.

This sculpture of an astronaut can be seen on a church building that was built between the 1600s and 1800s. Why on Earth would they have such a sculpture on this building? Were they visited by a time travelling astronaut? Or did someone have a wild imagination about space travel ahead of their time?
