My mum wants to renew her Visa that would be expiring in feb and has got a date in feb too for the interview cos she dosen't want to do dropbox. My question now is her passport is expiring in june which is less than 6 months. She intends staying for 2wks. Should she renue the Passport before going for the interview

If the renewed passport is assured to come out before the scheduled interview date then go ahead, if not use the passport like that. My opinion but the issuance of visa stipulates the passport must be @ least 6 months valid.

Finally the end of my US trip..it was nice..mostly between Brooklyn and Manhattan.. was in New Jersey for a day but nothing special..

have always wanted to visit USA,but waited......moved to Canada ..then applied everything was to easy not much question no checking of account got 10 years visiting and when travelling not much hassles at all..

New-York is nice, but the life their is fast..

The Train runs 24/7 which is nice ..you can buy some things on the road cheaper..might be fake lool.
Not also bad for shopping on

The embassy will send you a mail when it ready for pickup at your chosen DHL drop box office.

No one knows why you were denied but I can assure you texas is just as cold as anywhere else in USA as I have experienced it. Perhaps you didn't convince the vo why you really want to travel and how long you plan to stay. Do not be deterred. Try again. God bless!!

Hello house, myself and my mom have been called for further interview since receiving our returned passports from dhl dropbox. I tried to schedule an interview which i did as the dates that came up were in June so since we are not in a hurry to travel i left it like that. However, on the appointment confirmation, its only my moms details that show up as well as the visa fee. Myself who is a dependent on her didnt show up as well as my own fee paid and number of applicants is also stipulated as 1 when infact we are 2. Should i be worried about this?

Also, i see on the website that it says the first available appointment is Feb 11 2019 but when i try to schedule an appointment, the earliest date on the list is June 10 2019.

Please i need advice on how to pick an earlier date, if anyone can help out

That's the same time I picked an interview date for myself and my mom since we were also called for follow-up interview. Although we are not in a hurry to travel, I left it like that as it gives m enough time to build up m account and think of whatever information I may have lost since I didn't back up my Ds160 forms. There is no way you will know if you cancel the present appointment and try to book another you'll get an earlier date unless probably you place a call to the embassy. I believe the number was posted here a while back so scroll up and try your luck.

I was given a White form to reschedule interview under 221g category witht he first box ticked and I should print another copy of ds-160 form. The only thing I have is the confirmation page. I do not have saved copies of ds-160 form. What do I do in a situation like this?

Hello,am seriously worried..I submitted my application on the 15th of November it’s changed to administrative processing on Monday 18th December and uptill now it’s still showing admin processing..pls what site is cgi and how do I go about it..this heart attack is too much..pls help guys

Just relax and hope for the email that will be sent saying passport is ready for pick-up. The cgi portal is the site that one uses to schedule appointments /Dropbox renewal. I do not know what to make of mine till I get to DHL tomorrow. I pray its a positive response.

Good day all. I have an issue and I don't know if anyone here can help or has gone through same. Ice been tracking my passport online after I submitted for renewal. It changed yesterday to schedule a follow up appointment. But each time I try to schedule the appointment, it comes up with an SQL Exception error. I sent a message via my profile to them and after asking for my passport number, they later got back to me today to contact Lagos niv directly. I called one of the US visa lines this morning, and they said from their end, after checking my profile, that I haven't been asked to schedule any appointment. That I should send a mail to Lagos niv to clarify the error. That their system isn't showing I need to schedule an appointment. My passport is still with the embassy. Dhl said it hasn't gotten to them yet when I went there this morning to collect it. I have however sent the mail to lagos niv, no response yet though. but I'm wondering what could be wrong. Why this back and forth. Ceac website says my passport is still undergoing administrative processing. Any suggestions on what to do or I should just wait?

I submitted my passport for renewal alongside my moms. it took a long while before the status changed to administrative processing which was yesterday. Just now, i received a mail saying passport is being returned to dhl office and its only mine. No information about my mom's own. I checked visa status and still both passports show administrative processing. i checked cgi website and all i see is schedule follow up appointment. I sincerely dont kno what to think now as to what is going on. who can shed more light if possible?

I am in same issue with you. Have you finally gotten yours? I submitted on 26th Nov and till now nothing yet. Case last updated is 27th Nov...It has past the 15business working days.

NO update. Same thing here. Submitted 22nd Nov, case last update 23rd. Someone advised i check after a month as the same thing happened with him so lets be patient some more...

So you have only 2 months left to enjoy the double data. Also, don't change to another plan otherwise you will be unable to change it back to the original follow come package where double data bundle is eligible.

2gb night browsing for 4k. When you subscribe you'll get 2 times of this, i.e 17gb. Subscribe again when you exhaust this and you'll get another 17gb. That's 34gb for 8k .

Note: this sim can only allow you acccess this double data package for 3 months only. After three months get another sim and repeat the process.

I want to buy glo 4g modem which comes with 16gb loaded but in m area the 3g is so bad that m 3g modem for m 4g glo sim always shows EDGE. Is there a probability that the 4g modem will be fair better?

I am in the Same boat as you. I submitted my passport as well as my moms for renewal. This was our second renewal. The B1/B2 visas expired June of this year. I submitted both passports for dropbox on the 22nd November. i checked CEAC website for status update and it says case opened 23rd November and case last updated 23rd November. I then sent an email to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com to check the status from there and response was THERE IS NO STATUS UPDATE FOR THE PASSPORT NUMBER SUBMITTED. today is 13th December and i am worried as to what is happening.
