Hello. Are the MIFI modems/ router still available? Which is the best in terms of long range reception?? I am fed up of using sim on my smartphone and want to go WiFi route now @ home. Reply m ASAP. Thanks |
cc150615:Firstly, and so what if I quote you? Looking for attention now are we? You can say whatever makes you feel in control and I really couldn't care less!! Secondly, oh yes I understood perfectly well but since you didn't notice the sarcasm in my comment, I still couldn't care less. Did m comment harm anyone? Did I insult anyone?? If I was disrespectful, Debbie would have called m to order and I would have apologised without question. |
seanaddy:i didnt know cv submission is now a SEQUEL...Guy,na movie you apply for? Lol |
Despite m masters degree, Shell Nigeria bouce m (Sorry, you do not meet up to the qualifications required. Apply again in the future) because I have a second class lower. Hmm! Issorai!! There is God. Best of luck to you all. I'm out of this thread!!! |
Richkinwe:Geology as first degree, Petroleum Geoscience as second degree. What more is there to review?? |
So those of us still waiting for confirmation email, what do we do? I applied since 2nd June and I have received no confirmation or assessment mails. I'm baffled!! I filled the application correctly taking my time and uploaded all necessary documents from resume to cover letter to certificates. I'm just baffled!! |
vickSamuel:Did you get confirmation email first of all? Which email address did you give shell? |
DivineKayy:Are you saying other unforseen /regrettable circumstances has made m not to qualify despite m qualifications??... Just asking! Perhaps you can throw more light on this! |
DivineKayy:Thank you. I will do that as well. |
aegis86:I see. Alright. I will reapply on Monday morning using my yahoo mail this time around. My Gmail account didn't receive any confirmation email or assessment tests. Checked spam and nothing. |
I'd rather tackle the questions later head on with m own brain than pay #1000 for past questions. Am I a student that I should be looking for such? As I mentioned way earlier in this thread, una too dey fear! It's just common sense, besides there's also the video interview. If one doesn't feel he/she did well in the literature past, definitely they can still excel with the video interview. No body get the same brain. Calm down, breathe, and do the tests. |
I applied yesterday and I still haven't gotten any confirmation email. Should I reapply or keep waiting? They said multiple applications lead to disqualification. I wonder if because I put 3rd of July as resumption date, na there I shoot my leg? God, help m ooh!! |
Why are you all shaking for this? 4mins is not compulsory you answer everything. You answer the ones you are sure of without a doubt. Simple!! If God said you are destined to be employed by Shell, nothing will come between His Word. |
suzzyrims:That's the mistake I made. I changed m email from Yahoomail to Gmail when asked to input email address. If I had known, I would have left it like that. I'm waiting for 48hrs. If after the time has elapsed and no confirmation /assessment mails, I will reapply with my Yahoomail. |
Na waa ooh. Still n o confirmation mail from Shell and if I dare apply again, that's disqualification. I submitted since morning and up to still now, nothing. There is God! |
Nickysazz:I used 3rd July, 2017 |
Dainty09:My dear, I did and there is no confirmation of my application has been received in spam or inbox. I used Gmail for this application. I have searched and nothing. I went back and checked for my application status on Shell website and it says there is no record of submission. Can you imagine?? |
dyduds:Did you get a confirmation email after successful application. |
I successfully completed the application but I didn't receive any confirmation email from them. Is that right? |
Well, i just applied after going through series of error messages at first. I pray this time around, i don't get a regret mail!! |
niyogeol:Indeed a harsh reality and I wonder how the young ones who are studying the same course @ the universities in this country feel that they will get a job in this same industry that has tons of graduates with different classes of degrees up to PhD level trying to break barriers to get in. I have @ some point considered academics but if you are referring to lecturing, it will require m going back for PhD in order to belong and move up the ladder. That will require more money which presently I'm lacking. If you are referring to being a class tutor, I haven't really given that some thought. I had dreams of being a top most geologist and making someone dear to m proud of what I have achieved in his place but this country killed that dream. |
trilobite:No I do not mind. I got my Msc in Ghana. As people rightly noted, to be a Geologist one has to be @ the top of ones game and for someone like m that graduated years ago plus msc that I obtained a couple of years back at well, I have lost that drive. I kissed asses as also mentioned in the oil industry but as stated, so few jobs due to the loss in value for oil and asuch I never made any headway neither did I get the pleasure of being called up for an interview or written tests. I have placed those degrees somewhere else and looking for something to do. |
Sapiosexuality:My guy how far? Its been a while!! Still here perusing the various jobs myself. Thanks for the recruitment information of some firms you posted to me. I have sent a cv to them. Hopefully something good comes for me. I hope you are good yourself... |
I seriously dont know what went wrong? I have a bsc in geology and an Msc in peteoluem geoscience and yet i have still not been able to land a job in the oil industry since i graduated years back. |It has left me crestfallen and wondered why did i ever go this route and i remembered its because i loved geology and now its a thing of the past. That drive is dead. Now, i am looking for anything to do now just to be sane and keep myself busy from being depressed. |
Sapiosexuality:I tried workforce. I didn't hear from them. |
femolala001:Guy, alot of graduates with not just BSc but Msc like myself and PhD dey find work and we never see. That doesn't mean we should give up on life and go to the nearest bridge and commit suicide. It's not the way forward @ all. What will you tell our creator when you go? I got tired of looking for job and decided to quit mother earth?? God go say what of the millions of unemployed people in Nigeria still waiting for their blessing? Prayer and hope is our key. |
irsakant:I am The one Myrrtle was referring to regarding which jobs I have been applying for. |
GRUBBIX:Applied for Procurement Officer. |
Sapiosexuality:I have used people who specialise in rewriting CVs twice. Who do I use the third time now? I always attach an application letter to any job I apply for. |
myrrtle:I apply for jobs that are made available in the oil and gas industry even if its not too related in my field and over time , i started spreading out to other areas (customer service as i have some experience), and administration editing my CV and cover letter to suit the position but no follow ups whatsoever. |
Good day nairalanders. I have been searching for a job since I completed my masters 3 years ago to no avail. It's frustrating and @ the point of losing my mind. I have an MSc degree in Petroleum Geoscience while my first degree is Geology. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated or advice. I'm in my early 30s now. I have sent my CVs countless times and even sent it for rewriting and yet not one interview. |
Doc. What can I do to increase my joystick size. I suffer from weak erections. I did a fertility test earlier this year and results indicate I can readily impregnate a woman and there was no std infections. |
