Edakun, this house is going too quite o, any news with dropbox applicants with submission from lastwk in Nov

Btwn, does the embassy plan to work on their backlogs at al, like pushing out passports before xmas, knowing alot of us have plans to travel at xmas? or they cant be bothered?

I am in the Same boat as you. I submitted my passport as well as my moms for renewal. This was our second renewal. The B1/B2 visas expired June of this year. I submitted both passports for dropbox on the 22nd November. i checked CEAC website for status update and it says case opened 23rd November and case last updated 23rd November. I then sent an email to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com to check the status from there and response was THERE IS NO STATUS UPDATE FOR THE PASSPORT NUMBER SUBMITTED. today is 13th December and i am worried as to what is happening.

Promo currently ongoing on MTN SME data, it will soon be over in a couple of days' time. Take advantage of it now.....

Whats the promo

I have a 4g modem and yet glo 4g doesn't show. Its always 3g. How do I make the 4g show?? I subscribed to glo Special Data plan of 1.3gb for #200 and still 3g.

I need candid advice. Which network is best for fast speeds especially at night? Swift or Spectranet. I am based in Festac town.

How to Apply for Australia Tourist, Visit or Business Visa in Nigeria: Step by Step

There are two ways you can apply for Australia tourist, visit or business visa in Nigeria. You can use either the online or offline method depending on the one that is most suitable for you.

Apply Australia Tourist, Visit or Business visa Nigeria

Online Method

1- Fill Online Application Form

Open an ImmiAccount and fill all the necessary spaces in all the online forms appropriately.

2- Upload your data.

Scan and attach all your documents to your online application. You should also attach your recently taken passport photograph. You should also provide certified copies of your documents. Finally, submit all documents with your online application.

3- Book an Appointment with TLScontact

TLScontact is in partnership with the Australian government to render services to Nigerian applicants traveling to Australia.

TLScontact offices are in Lagos – Etiebet’s Place, 21 Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja, Lagos.

And Abuja – Third floor, El-Yakub Building beside Metro Plaza, on Plot 1129 Zakariya Maimalari Street, Central Business District, Abuja, Nigeria.

4- Capture Your Biometric Details

You can then go to TLScontact office to get your biometric details captured. After you have submitted your online application and have paid the visa application fee, a Transaction Reference Number (TRN) will be issued to you. This will help you track the visa application process.

Payment for your Australian visa application can be done online through trusted third party financial platforms like PayPal or BPAY. You can also make use of your credit/debit card but note that you may be surcharged for the transaction when you make payment with your card.

After you have uploaded all the documents and paid for the visa application, a Transaction Reference Number (TRN) will be issued to you. The TRN is required by the Department of Immigration and Board Protection when you wish to communicate with them.

Apply Australia Tourist Visit Business Visa Nigeria
Offline Method

1- Download and Fill Application Form

You will first need to download and fill the application form for Australia tourist, visit or business visa. Click HERE to download this form now.

2- Book an Appointment with TLScontact

The next step will be to book an appointment to proceed with the Australian visa application centre (TLScontact). Click HERE to book and appointment with TLScontact Lagos or HERE to book appointment with TLScontact Abuja.

3- Submit your application

Then you can submit all the necessary documents alongside your signed application form. They will also capture your biometrics details there. You would be required to pay all the fees at the center. Note that only cash is accepted at the application center.

4- Await Embassy Decision

Once the payment is completed and your biometrics is registered, you can now wait for possible approval.

The online method is easier compared to the offline method but you must ensure that you can do it well or employ the services of a professional to avoid any type of mistake. Also note that Australia tourist, visit or business visa application in Nigeria is processed at the Australian High Commission located in Pretoria. You can contact them to check up with the progress of your visa application.

Good work supplying us information on this here but i am confused. After filling the application form for the Australian visa online came the payment page. Now, i checked the TLScontact website and i saw visa application fee there and their biometric fee. Can the visa application fee be paid alongside the bio fee @ TLScontact? after these fees have been paid, do i give my IMMI account details for them to update all the necessary payment?? sorry for asking as there is no proper way to communicate with TLScontact as the contact number is south africa despite them having branch offices in lagos and abuja.

So some folks have turned here into ' am this, I studied that.., help with job....'

Like seriously?! A graduate! Please let's act accordingly. Nobody has a job to offer anyone. You have to put effort to look for it and apply. No matter how hard the country is, people get jobs on daily basis. Stayed informed and be persistent. You will surely get something. Don't give up. Cheers.

Like seriously! There's not harm in these people posting something like that here. If the thread owner isn't making noise about, neither should you. We all know it's difficult to get a job that suits one career path asuch changes have to be made to get something in order to survive. Because they post here doesn't mean they aren't trying other avenues to get something. Referrals can come from anywhere.

Good day fellow nairaland contacts,

Ntel is the worst @ my end. I get less than 100kbps for downloads. I always have to move m WiFi modem up and down just to see if there will be an improvement in speed, nada!!!

Server88:
Since Swift is out of reach to you, get Ntel. They are by far the cheapest Unlimited ISP. Smile is thrash, currently my Ntel is topping my Smile 4G speed. Check Ntel site for coverage.

I have Ntel but its very slow in m area. Any idea on how to boost the speed please?

phone in lagos I am currently in abeokuta

OK. please when you get back upload a few pictures for me to see the device, thanks

nurey:
you can downgrade to 4.1 using odin sef not to talk of using a box, my issue is lying hands on the Tmobile 4.1 stock rom.

anyway the phone came with a custom rom on 4.4 then I moved to ressurection remix 6.0 before using a stable lineage OS 7.0 I upgraded to 7.1 on same lineage just to have a better security and functionality as the phone kept prompting me to upgrade for months.

I regret upgrading to 7.1 because after a month I just saw insert sim and imei was null, I couldn't did a Google search and wala my mistake is non retractable

Ok, do you mind posting some pictures of the device?
