PoliticsRe: Nigerian Police Reacts To Attacks On Police Posts In Benin by Crispels(m): 2:16pm On Oct 19, 2020
seunmsg:
Lies how?

Protesters in Benin are now on rampage. They broke into the prison and freed criminals. They then took it further by attacking 3 police stations. This is no longer a protest but an assault on law and order. We must collectively demand for an end to the protest immediately.
They are not protesters Oga. Obaseki has confirmed that they are hoodlums/cult groups that attacked the police prisons after sending away peaceful protesters.

How would UN intervention look like? remove the President and all state Governors and National Assembly,/State Assembly members?

The protest has become more of jokes and concert for celebrities and followers..

I know there's regular supply of food and drinks which has made the gatherings attractive for most folks..

We like to overdo things in this country so much tht the main course would be defeated..

Even the so called UN and international communities know that all protest demands have been met.. The reform been asked for will not happen in practice terms like ''closing and opening'' of eyes.. It will come, but it will take a process...

I know my comments would only be understood by those who have knowledge of process.

#Endsenselessprotestnow
Our FiveForFive demands have not been met.

And why should we trust a government that has a history of reneging on its promises?

Honestly speaking I knew it's not anything related to hack but I was only reading comments to see if anybody will know this. Internal server error is a normal occurrence for those in the web space and those who are basically into IT infrastructure. Google the error code and see what you'll find. Although I for happy make e be original hack sha!

Hack anything hackable. Let's restart the country all over again.

#EndSarNow
They were apparently under attack but they activated their security keys. Can you see what's going on with EFCC website now?

Lmao! Go online and read about Cybersecurity and sec keys. Go and check the website of EFCC. Do you see a pattern? It's also currently under an attack - if you understand how these things work.
I'm into website development and when a website is under attack, certain keys can be activated to prevent the hackers from fully taking over the website. But that does not necessarily mean the website was not hacked - the hackers were only denied full access to the website because the operators activated certain keys that shut down the website.

Lol. Do they think we are fools? Why did they activate their security key if they were not hacked? These are basic cybersecurity knowledge. CBN should tell us what led to the shut down of their website then.

Typical Nigerian mentality.

Can't an accomplished politician prosper in peace again?

A man that singlehandedly built Lagos from scratch doesn't deserve to own a mansion. Now I know how backward people's reasoning are in this part of the world.
If only he amassed all these wealth through legitimate means. Looting our collective wealth to build a personal empire is criminal, dehumanizing and a crime against God.

They don't understand that the average Nigerian youth is doing online fraud.

You can pretend and act like you are fighting a good cause but we know the truth in our society even here on nairaland, we know how fraudsters have destroyed this place.

We all know that if you bad SAr as friends and a online fraudster scam you, it is still the same sar you will call to track the fraudster and get him arrested.
Stop defending a failed political class for crumbs. Did Dubai police harass Hush Puppi to check his phones before getting him arrested? Stop defending failure.

You should be ashamed of yourself because you have lost touch with the reality of the average Nigerian youth. I’ve seen cases where innocent young Nigerians(first class university products, business owners etc) with nothing incriminating in their phones were threatened to be killed by SARS operatives if they don't pay for their release. These innocent folks were randomly stopped and were accused of being criminals and were threatened to be killed if they refuse to pay them.

Think about it. What does arresting(abducting) innocent people at gunpoint, forcing them to ATM units to withdraw all the money in their accounts for you; have to do with fighting crime?

If they are truly criminals, why not have them write a statement and take them to court? Why shoot them or force them to pay through their nose?

COMMON!!!

Why didn't your president where you reside in Houston done something about it since almost everyone in almost every country in the world, all sport teams and clubs in the world are saying BLACK LIVES MATTERS?
Each of the celebrities you mentioned above have shouted BLACK LIVES MATTER and their president never listened to them for once!

God bless the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
President Muhammadu Buhari for hearkening to the voice of the masses and ensuring their immediate wish was met with disbandment of the police unit.

Let me lecture you a bit Crispel.

The Special Anti-Robbery Squad was founded in 1992 by former police commissioner Simeon Danladi Midenda. The major reason SARS was formed was when Col. Rindam, a Nigerian Army Colonel was killed by police officers at a checkpoint in Lagos.

Do you know how many Nigerians were killed in the era of PDP?
That they never find anytime to BAN them!
It was business as usual for them......atleast they have money to steal, All the citizens that lost their lives means nothing to them.
Lol. Oga, I'm not a neophyte. There was no widespread SARS brutality in Nigeria before 2015. When did the END SARS movement began? Buhari only bowed to the global outrage. Nigeria became a trending topic on CNN. Come and see the thousands of people that showed up today here in New York. London was not even left out. Likewise Houston and other major world cities. Them no born a million Buhari well not to end SARS. Imagine world stars like Ozil, Trey Songs, Cardi B and others who already joined the movement. They bowed under intense pressure. Tuesday would have been a total shut down in Nigeria.
