afrodoc: well balotelli is big and strong, born in SICILY,counts murderous mobsters amongst his friends, and is quite simply crazy.
yaya is bigger n maybe stronger, born n raised in Africa, most likely has a sizable collection of African insurance. grin

That's why my money is on Balotelli. . .he is crazy.
While Yaya's thinking about the best jazz to employ, Balotelli would immediately just go do the first thing that enters his head, without thinking about it of course.
Like the hot groundnut oil thing or cutting the brake wires of Yaya's car. I'm sticking with the big, crazy, weird dude. grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Cristalz(f): 8:14pm On Mar 11, 2012
Who can tell what goes on in Balotelli's head? The boi's just crazy weird.
Perhaps the Toure brothers find him annoying. grin

chamotex:

Remember he said 'no holds barred' . . . meaning no weapons allowed.
Balotelli can only win if weapons are allowed. grin

Nah. ''No holds barred'' means everything's allowed.
Given that kinda condition, heck, Balotelli would simply douse Yaya in hot groundnut oil and set him on fire. grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by Cristalz(f): 7:49pm On Mar 11, 2012
ritchboy: Ivanovic was shit, wasting at least 4 or 5 decent assist opportunities with nonsense crosses/wrong decisions.

FBS, do you watch football in black and white blue? cheesy

I jus' tire for the man o. Dunno where/how he watches his football. grin

@FBS
First, I never said Ivanovic was a winger.
He was simply positioned as a RB, found himself in acres of space and given plenty of time to go forward on the right wing (which he did), but instead of utilizing the opportunity to cause havoc in Stoke's 18 he was acting dull and totally clueless.

RDM saw the potential of that unmarked right wing and saw Ivanovic's inability to do what needed to be done there. So he figured Luiz would do the job better going forward on that unmarked right wing.
My point is the fact that Ivanovic needed to get outta that space for someone with better ideas, not how effective Luiz was as his replacement.

If Ivanovic is a solid CB but useless as a RB with freedom to multitask as a winger, why leave him in the RB position??
Do you understand now?
If you'd like the above in your native tongue, jus' lemme know. cheesy grin

The goal was credited to Luke Moore.

Swansea leading City by one goal. I just hope they can hold on to their lead.

Osaze should have had a penalty. That was real stupid of Evra.

The man to watch out for tomorrow is my sweetheart Osaze, if he plays.
Sadly, I'm gonna have to be against him scoring. sad

@FBS
If your ''BEST'' performer is useless on the right wing, why leave him there??
That's just my point. If it ain't working, change it.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by Cristalz(f): 9:53pm On Mar 10, 2012
''Fernando should never under no circumstances play for Chelsea again'' is extreme, so you'd be wrong to say so. I didn't say he should never play.

The whole point of this grammar and long speeches is, when it ain't working the way it should, you change it. Especially when you think you've got a better replacement. RDM thought he did.
C'mon, FBS, it's one of the basic reasons why we make subs. Ineffectiveness.
That's why Torres' butt is sitting in places it rarely did at Liverpool.

That's what I need you to understand first. After that, we can now discuss how effective the replacement was. cheesy

Then again, you're a Chelsea guy. I shouldn't really expect you to understand the power of an unmarked flank now, should I? cheesy grin Given your team's style of play. Or lack of it.
My United wingers (and maybe Walcott) have spoiled me silly.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by Cristalz(f): 9:38pm On Mar 10, 2012
@FBS
I concurred with RDM that Ivanovic was wasting space.  .  .as for the replacement choice, I wasn't asked for my opinion. grin

I stated already that Ivanovic flunked one chance (at goal) , which was the only he had.
His major crime was being totally free and unmarked on the right flank and instead of utilizing the opportunity to create chances for his teammates or for himself, he kept making useless crosses and wasting balls.
That's why he needed to be subbed for someone who would better utilize the flank seeing as Stoke weren't interested in manning it.
Whether Luiz achieved that or not is another matter. Take that up with your caretaker boss.

As for Torres.  .  .you said Ivanovic was ''on fire''.
I wondered if your definition of ''fire'' was zealously misfiring, hence my bringing Torres into the matter.
I said if Ivanovic's enthusiastic nonsense was your idea of ''fire'', then Torres should be blazing 'cos his current performance is the same story.

And I think your management agrees with me. Proof.  .  .Torres started on the bench. Again.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by Cristalz(f): 6:26pm On Mar 10, 2012
Like I said on the other thread, FBS sweerie, if the player is zealously misfiring, no point letting him keep wasting the space considering the kinda pressure RDM's under.
Also, when you've got someone that's got more potential to do better. In this case, Luiz.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by Cristalz(f): 6:20pm On Mar 10, 2012
@FBS
Fire? What kind of fire??
Stoke's defenders practically left him alone on the right wing and he couldn't cross to save his mother's life!

Guess it's only that one clear-cut chance he missed that's making you go gaga, but dude, one missed chance isn't tantamount to ''fire''. If the fire was so hot, why did he get subbed?
Heck, if that's fire then Torres is blazing. grin 'Cos he plays well but runs outta ideas in the final third.

Ivanovic was rightly subbed 'cos he was wasteful and kinda dull idea-wise, given the freedom he had the entire first half.

duduspace:

Erm, Ivanovic is a CB masquerading as a RB, you'll need to give him a cocktail of drugs to turn him into a flying wingback to exploit any space. He is only good for defensive stability and danger at set piece opportunities.

Which is why he had to be subbed.
You should be directing your post at FBS, not me. grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Chelsea Vs Stoke City (1 - 0) On Saturday March 10 2012 by Cristalz(f): 5:42pm On Mar 10, 2012
Can't fault Torres' drive either, but where does that leave his goal-scoring account? grin
If the player is zealously misfiring, no point wasting the space considering the kinda pressure Abramovich has got RDM under.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by Cristalz(f): 5:38pm On Mar 10, 2012
lalaboi:

Ivanovic off tho. . Injury maybe

Stoke's defenders gave him acres of space and time on the right wing for nearly the entire first 45 and he did zilch with it.
Guess RDM figured noodle-hair will do better.

45 minutes is plenty of time to turn it around.

Why does City seem to only have steam when it's an EPL game?
Boring game, sloppy play from City and a well-deserved loss.

There used to be a City thread somewhere. . .where is it? And where is Krayola, City's number one fan? grin

Okay, United up next.

Seems Arsene was right after all.
I must say, very very impressive play from Arsenal.

ACM have been all arms and legs in defense, while the Arses brought every ounce of skill they possess to the party.
Determination is a powerful thing indeed.

Missed you too smiley
Well, you may have a point. Things do have a way of going awry for you guys.
The adage ''when it rains, it pours'' is quite apt for Arsenal FC. grin
