Please be careful of those that will ask you to check their profile or signature, some will even claim to make you a billionaire in 5 months. Bros, buy a land if you want to invest, here in Benin, 700k will get you a good land somewhere not too far from the main city. If you want to farm or develop, it is left for you. |

code101:Brother I thank you very much. I am sure the result is authentic because I used the result print out to do my physical clearance back in 100 level. Although I will still check again so I can be doubly sure. Thank you Sir for the encouragement, I will update you all on how I go about it. |
Bluehill1051:Okay Bro.. I will. Thanks. I never knew someone could collect his/her certificate in person. The first one I wrote, I collected it from the school. Thank you. |
emillysmigael:Thank you Ma, I will the place then go, I really hope this will end all this. |
I wrote my WAEC 2012/2013 session but did not make mathematics, when I wanted to re-write the exam the next year, a family friend suggested to my Mum that I enrolled in his school since my maths skills were very poor and I was not improving by the day. I enrolled in this school but I noticed that it wasn't his school, he made a liaison with a principal of another school that is accredited to take in candidates to sit for the external examinations. The exams went well and although I was having Cs for subjects I was good at like English Language and Literature-in-English, my Mathematics was a B, to be precise a B3. I wrote jamb that year, got a good result and then got admitted into the University of Benin. I was physically cleared with my online result print out and everything has been going smoothly for me in school till 300 Level. We were asked to provide a photocopy of our original certificate and with some other credentials to be given the clearance certificate. I immediately called my home and they said they will reach that "family friend" (he is the son of our landlord) that enrolled me. When my Mum called him, he said the price for collection of the certificate is N15,000 and after much arguments, we gave him the money because of urgency. The man being a crook started giving us all forms of excuses when we called for the result. I had to see him one day in his school and he told me that my certificate wasn't printed, I was depressed for days. After talking to him, he later revealed that he was owing the owner of the school some money and the owner of the accredited school wouldn't allow the students he brought to collect their certificates until the man pays his debt of over N400,00. I calmed down for sometime thinking that the issue will be resolved before I get to my final year, then I resumed my final year, nothing happened. I got an advice from of the relative that got interested in the case, she told my mum that it will be best if I go to the school directly and ask for the certificate and how much it will cost from the principal but I shouldn't disclose who brought me for enrollment in his school, I should pretend to be one of his students so many years ago and then give him the money and collect the result. I got to the school and met with a teacher that gave me the principal's number. I gave my mum and she called him and he said that it will cost me N10,000. Even though I was hungry and starving, the money came out and I went to see the Principal, the principal called me and directed me to his house that he wouldn't be in school. I still went to the school and discovered why he didn't want me to come to the school, it was because he had no reason to be there. The school only had nursery and only came alive during WAEC and NECO period. It was a special centre. The Principal gave me a warm reception and asked me for my statement of result. I told him I left it at home and he asked me to go get it. I got it and when he saw it, he asked for the money, I didn't trust him yet so I gave him 5k and I begged that it is all we can afford. The man collected the money and went inside with my statement of result and came back outside. He was making calls. He called a tout in his street to hold me so I wouldn't run away. I was still unaware of what was going on. He then brought out a booklet that contained the statement of results and then I saw what happened, the man that brought me for enrollment gave me a fake statement of result using the school's name. The principal told the tout to hold me that I will be taken to the police station for falsification. The man was saying that he will jail me and nothing will happen. I begged him to let me call my mum and after some passersby intervened, I was held hostage but not taken to the station. The principal called and started negotiating with the man who brought me for enrollment. I was there with the tout. My mum came later, by that time, I was already freed from the intimidation and humiliation. I was already on my way when I met her, we went back to the principal and he said he wants to talk face to face with the man that brought me and then he will get back to us the next day. I told my mum that I have already given him 5k and she said no problem, at most he will now demand 15 or 20k because he knows that it is urgent. I called my Mum the next day and she said the man is demanding 100k before I can get the certificate. N100,000. I am not sure I have ever seen anything close to that in years now. This Semester has been the hardest for me so far, I haven't paid my fees, I couldn't pay my rent and I had to come squat in the hostel, I have not paid my fees and the last time I ate/drank something that wasn't garri was on Sunday. I have lost weight so much that I now wear big clothes to cover my bones. I am hungry all the time because I don't have enough to fill me but the most pressing thing in my life now is getting that certificate from those criminals. I am being used as a pawn to get a debt that was owed even before I took that exam, is there a legal way to get my certificate? Can WAEC do something about this situation? What can I do because I really need this certificate to do my 300L clearance (Although I am in 400L now) if not, I fear an extra year which will be bad for me. Please what can I do? Mods please help me move to FP |
why make a post you know nothing about? For so the critics, it wasn't boyfriend issues at all, it has to do with two females and they are being questioned by the police now, Ugbowo division. |
Hello everyone, I live in Benin City, I want to learn the bass guitar, is there anyone or institute that can be recommended? |
SweetBuns:Na Dem! |
afilex:Bro I had it in mind to learn lead but it is like the market for string instruments favours bass more. I heard some churches pay bass guitarists 60-70k and often get called for studio sessions... Is there any market for lead guitarist.. Are you earning well Sir? |
