19 is quite old to begin professional football, you will come to understand this. For a Nigerian, the ladder is too long to start climbing at 19. Like you I had hopes of playing professional football back then in secondary school but I was forced to finish school back then and when I did, I got to understand that the ladder of football is quite long and in Nigeria, it is longer. I was good then but passing trials was almost impossible. I started going for trial camps in Lagos, but even when I passed, money was the problem.. We were supposed to have 150k for passport and Visa processing. The plan was to go to Cyprus and go for a real trial to start playing for lower division teams and start earning while climbing the ladder to top global teams. Nobody wanted to invest a dime in me, except for educational purpose. I lost hope, wrote jamb and got admitted into a tertiary institution.

If you have the Money, determination, skills, endurance and passion, leave the country, go to France or country that appreciate football through a football agency, go for trials and work hard, Fitness is another thing.

You can come into limelight at 24, which is not bad, (at 24, you will be 19 then )

About marriage and family, that is completely understandable. We have Rev. Fathers and Sisters. Marriage isn't for everyone. I am actually thinking of taking this part too and joked about it with Mum, she wasn't happy about it even though I said it playfully but if it is a path I must take to stay happy, I will take it and everybody will just have to accept it or leave it.

My people this freelancing work nor be beans o. I just hooked up with a guy on freelancer(dot)com and he offered to pay me $18 per for a comprehensive 500 word article. For my mind I say "see free money". I did my first work today and my people, it was not funny at all, these whites mean quality and the topics that they give are strange and out of this world that when you finally get materials to write on, you will struggle not to plagiarise. Your grammar must be top notch, no beating round the bush and when they give you a word count of 500 words in a field you are not familiar with (for me topics on engineering, chemistry and medicine) brother you will struggle with 250 words.

The most depressing factor is time limit. 500 words on an article that the topic relates to architecture and a time limit of 2 hours is something that will look simple to you but in reality, you will work your brains out and struggle to meet up with 3 hours.

Brothers and Sisters, even if it is $30 per article I don't have the passion to write again. The pressure is too much and the chance of your work been appreciated and rewarded is very slim especially when you are getting writing jobs on what you know nothing about.

This is not to discourage anyone but the writing game is tough and if you feel you can handle it, well, good for you. I am currently learning how to code, I will continue graphics designing and learn other freelancing skills that can earn me cash.

Please share your freelancing experience especially those claiming to write 500 words in 30 mins and earning $15-$20.

Hello business gurus. I created this thread for those of us that want to know more about amazon publishing. We are here to Learn from those that have succeeded in this great venture. Please gurus in the house, help us answer these questions:

1. What can we write: Most people recommend writing on science and tech stuffs. Something expository. It could also be on any field of study, like researching and writing on the superego (psychology) but I am beginning to doubt this. Amazon houses a good number of fiction. Checking their best sellers, you will see fictions and non fiction, we barely see books relating to the aforementioned topics and their likes. What is your take on this?

2. Word count: I have heard people say they publish three books in a months, my question is what is the minimum word count for a good book on Amazon. Can a write a book of 5000 words and publish it?

3. Are we to market our books: Everything done, are we to still market our books on social media platforms?

4. The ideal amount to charge for a book: what amount really justifies our intellectual work. We see books costing 17 dollars but that we be too extreme for low profile authors like us. What do you suggest?

4. Cover design and book formatting: This has always been a problem because a beautiful cover page, attracts potential buyers. (Permit me to do some marketing) As for cover design and book formating, I can do that for a fee, but if you want to have options, you can go to the freelance world and pay some fees slightly higher than mine, you can also take recommedations from whoever other experts recommend here. It is all good though.

The only capital you need to start publishing on amazon is your time and commitment. It's hard work ooo. If you have capital to invest, you can start cryptocurrency trading. If you do it now, you may never have any reason to complain of lack of money ever again.
