You will ruin your reputation and that of your family if you try that nonsense.
If you must do it, find somebody who is of age at least. And somebody your family doesn't have connections with So sex is now allowed outside marriage? If he must do it or he shouldn't do it. It's well o. |

Jewessgratitude: You see.....when I say this premarital sex of a thing has its implications and should be stopped some animals will be attacking and calling me all sort of names. This is one of the implications. My dear, you can't have your cakeand eat it. Now you have to pay for it with a lifetime opportunity just because of 5 mins sex. Like seriously can't you guys be chaste! If you had kept yourself, by now you won't be having hyper cos that what it will tend to if this relationship fail and you and I know it is very difficult to find someone we truly love once you lose the one you had.
Simple chastity, we can not keep. Hmmm.
What do you want to hear from us. Whatever we say here can not change how your guy will react when he finds out and to make matters worse, the other guy is not willing to let go for him to have started calling you afresh. He's bent on letting the cat out if you dont know.
My 1 cent to you is , stop opening legs for any time dick and Harry that comes your way. You're not a testrun machine.
The did is done. Hold and prepare your heart for the worst or the best. I will like to know you personally, I've been coming across your posts on this forum. You sound to good to be true. |

frowland: What they do is to sand fill the part they are going to build on just like they sandfilled banana island and people are building houses there now. In this case, they sandfill the part they want to work on, then build the pillars far deeper than the depth of the sea. After builfing this pillars and they are strong enough they will remove the sands and only the pillar will stand. Wow!! It still looks unclear to me though, trying hard to imagine the process. Engineering sounds fun. |

Career › Re: Labour Vows To Shutdown First Bank Over Plans To Sack Over 1000 Workers by CsRockefeller(m): 6:58pm On Nov 22, 2019 |
athorello: Sometimes I pity Service executives or contract staff in banks. Termination of contract with the parent company means mass sack.
However, I think some old non core staff who have stayed for over 5 years become demotivated and lethargic seeing several of their colleagues converted to full staff, and new GTs employed and moving the ranks. Thus, I won't blame the bank so much if they wanna let go of some of the contract staff.
Firstbank is one of the highest employers of labour in Nigeria. Only last year about 500 GTs were employed. Several other experienced and GTs hire including a conversion program for 500 service executives have taken place this year. I'm also sure the affected 1000 staff are been replaced by younger more motivated bloods. No wonder several contracting firms are recruiting tellers, CSOs and marketers. The industry is no child's play.
Finally, it's not funny out there. Being a contract staff in a bank is not the best position to be but it's better than nothing. To that end, people is such position must have a plan to leave between 2 to 5 years, fighting on all fronts: investing in personal and academic development, saving for business or emigration, seeking conversion and hunting for jobs actively. Even as an envied full time staff with several privileges, I hustled my way out and still hustling as PMB isn't my papa. Well said. |

seniormallam: What is happening is nothing but top management playing with peoples life in the name of favouring their own interest, They sacked staff of one outsourced firm and ask another outsourced firm which they have stake to recruit same number of staff, this has nothing to do with financial crisis, the management asked their wife, good friends or relatives to float a recruitment agency, then sacked those that belong to those agencies they don't have stake, by today or latest Monday new contract staff would have resume already. Are u refering to workforce? I've already had an interview with them. |

peggywebbs: Yes yes and yes. We are not chess pieces and I don't believe in a God that will tamper with our lives just because he wants to protect us.
Nuclear emissions, war, poor hygiene and many other factors cause diseases, now we can reduce all this if we change but are we ready to change?
Diseases are not from God, please and please, we have herbs, and a lot of innovations to treat them. I'm sure those medicinal plants didn't just appear, and I'm sure they were not as a result of a lab experiment.
The brain we use to think whether negative or positive things God created it. We are the most intelligent animals on earth. You see, our brain is a mystery and no scientist can make a tissue as intelligent as our brains.
You blame earthquakes on God? Really? I'm sure you're aware that scientists are planning to dig the moon. Let's not even begin to talk about the harsh chemicals that we continue to use to harm the earth.
I'm sure you want God to be the fixer, well he is not. You haven't even seen God but you hate him. You hear he made all the beautiful things on the earth and put you there to enjoy it. Now you blame him for the genocide, suicide, murder, war, diseases and all sorts but you haven't even seen him. You don't know what he looks like, he never visited the earth but yet you want him to fix the bad things that we do to ourselves.
Isn't that selfish, what you're saying is murderers should walk free, because with the wave of a hand the person they kill will get up.
Or are you looking for justice, then you will be proposing that God kills everyone that is bad so the world can be good. Well I assure you that will be everybody because we have all been bad at some point.
Or better still, you want him to clean out our minds so we can think good and the world will be like a fairy tale, then I'm sure you will call it mind control.
Well God is not your problem, if you don't know him, haven't met him, if he hasn't wronged you then you have no reason to hate him. Hating God makes you no different from the people who kill others for no reason. I can feel the passion for.your faith behind your posts. It's good though. |

Hedonini: Interesting topic with a VERY valuable lesson for those who are quick to chant 'don't marry a man that does not have a "good job" or a man that earns less than bla bla bla.
Many in this generation with the wrong mentalities would eventually suffer and die of mental ill-health and maniacal depression. They don't know it yet. You think say na by the beginning? Life is bloody long.
You start well on a shaprapra shapropro level (for your mind), you come feel say life soft, dey carry shoulder for your supposedly less fortunate peers, but you forget say the race na marathon and weather dey change. When you reach midpoint come run out of fuel, when life unexpectedly change your reggae to blues, na body go finally tell you.

peggywebbs: I think everyone loses faith everytime but I don't think you have lost faith in God. It's more like you've lost faith in yourself. If you don't believe in yourself how do you want God to believe in you?. It's like going for a job interview and concluding in your mind that you didn't get the job. How will you convince your interviewer that you have what it takes.
Many people come on nairaland talking about how much they have dedicated to God and how they have been disappointed. You live everyday, you breath the oxygen and you don't have to pay for it. You can do anything you want and nobody owns your life because God gave it to you.
You are a master of yourself. If you are free to do what you want, then you should be able to face the life's challenges. I remember when I was going through a difficult time, someone told me God doesn't give you what you can't handle. Today I look back at that situation and wonder how I got out of it. It's not like its over, every year I grow older, challenges get even tougher but you know what I'm still here. It has made me stronger.
Do you want a God that will pamper you and make you weak, or are you looking for a God who is a puppy and will always want to please you because he doesn't want to upset you.
He sees beyond what you see, if only you could look beyond that negative situation that hurts you and embrace the positive things in your life. It could be your siblings, your parents, your children or your loved one. There is a lot to gain in life than being angry with God. He has given you the earth to enjoy it, what more do you want? .. Hmmmmm. |

Good day everyone.
I want to ask, if you have ever lost your faith, what was the last straw that broke the camel's back and made you say "I'm done following Christ"?
I'm at a point in my life that I'm tired, I've really given myself passionately and steadfastly to the word of God and his works, bit, lately, the issues of the world has overwhelmed me and it doesn't seem like hope is anywhere close.
I'm tired, having gone to church for some time, my faith has grown so weak, I'm thinking of calling it quit forever.
I acknowledge that God exists, but, I don't think he's with me anymore. I can't keep going through my issues and looking up to God and he's just there being silent.
This is a God I could have given my life for in the past. Why has he abadoned me in my trying times even though I've not been faithful as I was for close to 5 years. |

Try and birth a girl the next time for uncountable blessings. To birth a girl, you need to show your wife overwhelming love so that she loves you genuinely in return. Girls only come from a place of genuine love. There is a science way too. But I only believe in tradition. (Joys of Motherhood) That's why my Father doesn't like me, he said my birth brought problems. |
