It is a shame that the SE has not been able to translate its unparalleled human capital base to the indigenous development of igbo land.

Yoruba are no longer the most educated.
The title belongs now to the igbo nation with every relevant stat pointing to that direction.

South Africa has the highest number of world class schools in Africa.

The citizens themselves are not very educated.

Given that Nigeria's manufacturing sector is mostly chemical/food based, the best engineering course to study in Nigeria is chemical engineering.

If you travel abroad, you can then specialise in Biomedical engineering, polymer engineering, or Environmental engineering.

Only EEE comes close.
