OAUTemitayo: America that still depends on Russia for its access to the outer space;( And yet america has completely dominated the global space sector. All the major discoveries in space were made by american scientists. Where is russia? Don't worry very soon, russian propulsion systems will soon be replaced by more sophisticated american technologies. |

BALLOSKI: Catalonians made sure their region is ahead in terms of anything in Spain before their agitation. It's believed that they are needed more and have unity. Such cannot be said of your region. You are a liar. Catalonia is not as developed as madrid. Infact one of the major reasons of catalan seccession is marginalization. Countries that disintegrated in history are often due to marginalization and underdevelopment. A country hardly disintegrate when everywhere is developed. A major reason why the USSR disintegrated was because resources from most parts of USSR was used in developing Russia. |

BALLOSKI: I went to somewhere in Kano state called 'butubu' and saw an ibo man selling provisions there . I shouted ' nna, Wetin u De do for this kain place?', he responded by saying , ' this is like my home. I hardly travel home(east) sef". This goes to show the main ibo don't care about biafra , but their businesses. They are unlike the jobless ones you see on nairaland beating chest. Yes, as long as it supports your narrative. I doubt if there is any igbo man that does not go home often. Anyway, there is no cause in history that had 100% support. It is what the majority wants that happens. Your igboman and the likes of him are in the minority. |

jayfolarin: Nigeria will not disintegrate. There's absolutely nothing you can do about that. Regions that wanted out of a country would have their people densely concentrated and working in that particular region..
Igbos are actually the frontrunner in the race to achieving a unified Nigeria as they are the ones actively mixing with other tribes and races across the federation. You tell me that this set of people are interested in seceding, I tell you that have been listening to too much Nnamdi Kanu.
Nigeria remains! Igboland is the most densest part of Nigeria. The fact that some igbos are outside igboland does not change anything. Catalonians are also living and working in different parts of spain. It does not change anything in the real sense. Nations that have disintegrated also have a mixture of sorts by marriage and business, it is normal afterall they are a nation. It does not take away the fact that they disintegrated. |

jayfolarin: Lool.. Dude don't be deceived, Nobody is in darkness! The Igbos have the Nigerian platform readily available to them to flourish in almost anything they are interested in. The only area where Igbos have not had real presence is POLITICS.. And no one else can be blamed for this but Igbo leaders who have refused to be detribalised. No tribe in Nigeria can single-handedly elect the president of her choice, sacrifices and cooperation with at least one other populated region is needed to put persons of your choice in power.
I'v met too many Igbos in person and occasions and I don't see anyone complaining of being maligned or maltreated in the society. If there's anything, it's the other tribes that are being sidelined by the Igbos in whatever they do, this is especially evident in business and trading centres that are igbo dominated.
Nigeria can never split. The suggestion is dead on arrival! Look shut up. The entire country is a god-forsaken shitthole. Poverty and ethnocentricism is everywhere. Are you people not tired of the status quo? Countries far developed than Nigeria has disintegrated. Stop making it sound like Nigeria is too good to disintegrate. |

These are some of the elites that would do anything for a failed Nigeria. A nation that has horribly failed and whose continous existence is an injustice to generations yet unborn. Political leaders in catalonia are working hard for their sovereignty, the ones in Nigeria are busy stealing and sustaining a failed contraption. Selfish old men who will soon become very irrelevant. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia Is Using Old, Dumb Bombs, Making Syria Air War Even More Brutal by CSTR2: 10:05pm On Oct 05, 2015 |
Appleyard: Rubbish article. The moment i saw the site name, i then understood the message and the pathetic wailings. The Yankees alluding that Russia doesn't have smart bombs or precision guided missiles? What a joke. The Su24 fencer as old as it is, has been upgraded and provisioned to carry prescision guided bombs, let alone the rest like Su34 and 35s. The fact that Russia already has such weapons is evidenced by the successful elimination of the rebellious militant leader Dudayev who was killed with precision weapons far back in the mid- 1990s. On April 21, 1996 Russian secret services intercepted a signal from Dudayev's satellite phone in a village located 30 kilometers from Grozny. Two Su-25 with self-guided missiles rose in the air. Dudayev was killed by a rocket while talking on the phone. His widow Alla Dudayeva then said that she was next to her husband at the time of his death. One rocket hit exactly at him, while others destroyed his car parked a few hundred meters away. According to the media, it was the first combat use of the Russian high-precision weapons. There are other examples as well. For instance, during the memorable "Operation Peace Enforcement" in South Ossetia in August of 2008, the Russian Air Force, according to media reports, used guided precision weapons to destroy an aircraft plant and an airport south of Tbilisi. The target was hit with no collateral damage. Lately, high-precision weapons are being developed in Russia with an eye to the space positioning. In other words, a local war anywhere in the world could be coordinated from the outskirts of Russia. Military satellites conduct optical, infrared and radiation reconnaissance and calculate the coordinates of enemy targets. Then the air force at a distance of 100-300 kilometers launches a missile or bomb using a satellite navigation system. Have you ever wondered why Pentagon is always screaming to high heavens whenever the Russians put something in space?
Unfortunately, in the 1980s and 1990s, for obvious reasons, the Russians did not conduct any special active development in the field of high-precision weapons. Unlike their NATO countries that have been investing billions of dollars in satellite guidance systems for missiles and bombs. But that does not imply that the Russians doesn't have or do not make use of such weapons. The groundwork of the Soviet defense industry was sufficient for present day Russia to catch up within a short period of time. A striking example of this is the notorious missile complex "Iskander." It was so successful that experts consider it the best in the world and a very promising high-precision weapon. It was also due in part to this newest weapon the plans of the U.S. to deploy missile defense in Europe have been revised for the time being. Oh, when the Russian General refering to the propose US missile shield to Poland said, " we will take care of that with ONE missile ", what do you think he was refering to? Dumb bombs?
Let the CIA control dailybeast site answer that.
The fact that Russia may have use unguarded bombs even in Syria, does not in any way implies they only have unguarded bombs like the US is putting it. If such is ever used, it only underline the strategy in realizing the goal upon the mark at that particular time. It is as simple as that.
The Americans are wailing because from the look of things, that First airstrikes may have completely destroy the CIA command centre that was hidden among civilian population.
Why am i even here at the first place? America have been wailing even before these air strikes began. They can only wail while Russia does the strikes
And come to think of it: with all the guarded bombs and missiles used by that hypocritical United States of Lies in Iraq, civilian casualties was still far more than actual military targets. Thousands of women and children were slaughtered. Thanks to wiki leaks. (why do you think they lock that man up?) . Infact, they still have to bribe the Iraqis army not to fight back.
Well, as far as ISIS is concern, it doesn't matter if the Bombs are dumb or smart; all are good for those sons of perdition
But in case the yankees and its enslaved media goons wants to confirm for themselves, let them board an F16 or F18, confront or threaten any Russia plane and see if the Bomb is smart or not. Yeah, the usual anti-western rhetoric. Continue. |

The title of this thread says "Another Injustice Against Igbos" and I think that is an unecessary tribal statement that would raise resentment against Igbos especially when it is clear that lots of non-Igbos are also victims in the issue in question. What else would you term a pro-Igbo argument if not for my expression of dissaproval over the unecessary racist title? I am not someone you can bullshitt your way through. Nigeria is a nation of tribes. There are always different interests playing. Even your national leaders are often tribal. The most de-tribalized Nigerian knows when to play the ethnic card. Imo, Anambra, Delta, Ogun and Osun have consistently had the highest cut-off points and are regarded as the most educationally advantaged states in Nigeria. Continually insisting that it is an Igbo only issue will only expose you as an iredeemable tribal bigot and this repulsive acts is what mainly attracts resentment to Igbos by other tribes who also suffer from this same discrimination.

Unity schools are crap anyway. Igbo kids are being dumbed down in those schools to create a general national IQ level. What the eastern states should do is create special schools for the most gifted igbo children. The rest can go to unity schools. The requirements for admission into this special schools should be much difficult than getting ''A'' in the british A-levels examinations. Anyway given the fact that igboland is not a sovereign state pursuing scientific development, the aim of such special schools is defeated already. A vexing conundrum. |
