if you don't recognize by now that non of these makes sense, then you never will.

if the SE follow your suggestion and vote a northern candidate because the want to "re-enter mainstream", then what happens after another 8 years? the SW gets lobbied and also decide to "re-enter mainstream" by voting another Northern candidate.

where will the foolishness of southern Nigeria end?
Right now, you don't have a choice thanks previous political mistakes.

The only choice you have now is at least enter the mainstream, then build alliances that would ensure your long term interests.

Politics › Re: 2023: North Will Lobby Southeast For Presidency – Arewa Youths by CSTR2: 7:57pm On Mar 16, 2020
Igbos already have the advantage of close political proximity to the south south .

That is majority southern support just like Peter Obi got.

It just need a bit more political tweaking in relation to the north, and it would be a winner.

Igbos can become president in 2031 at the latest, but they need sense.

Kingspin:
It is a bend fact with all human sense.

The North need president but Boko( want a sharia state), herdsmen and bandits have brought the country to a standstill. They still got the president back 2back and demanding more.

So the idea that Kanu group of IPOb denying East presidency is baseless and a cheap excuse just to hold unto something. That lie attracted my attention.

Pls, look for another excuse.
The north is politically homogeneous to a large extent.
The south is not.

The political realities are different.
If the south was under a single political ideology, then yes, you would have that luxury.

Until the south unifies, then igbos need to Stay within reality, not emotions.
Politics › Re: 2023: North Will Lobby Southeast For Presidency – Arewa Youths by CSTR2: 7:49pm On Mar 16, 2020
Nigerian politics is not that difficult but Igbos make it hard.

If a region known as the perpetually weeping opposition and rascals just 5-6 years ago, can prance about like king makers today, then nothing is impossible.

The question is can igbo stoop down to conquer?
I doubt that.
Politics › Re: 2023: North Will Lobby Southeast For Presidency – Arewa Youths by CSTR2: 7:40pm On Mar 16, 2020
Ipob is the reason why a tinubu has a greater chance of becoming president than any igbo politician right now

From 1999-2014, tinubu cannot dare come out in national politics, when igbo politicians were talking.

"It is common sense IPOB is the greatest obstacle to Igbo president"

With the same common sense, you ought to know that the above statement is a misleading and fabricated lie.
As bitter as it is, that is fact.

Biafra will not be created in the next 1000 years.

What ipob has done is to poison the existing water that igbos have.

Terrible politics. And they have not yet recovered from that madness

lol grin una never gree open eye.. some of una still dey hail this shetimas insult up there hahahah
Politics is reality.

Insult or not, the madness of kanu and igbo elites have created a scenario where the actualisation of igbo presidency is looking like a mirage.

The next best thing to correct that anomaly is to vote for the region with the highest chance of re-entering mainstream politics.

And that is not the south west.

Will the igbos be smart enough to recognise it?
That is a different answer.

The north believes that president is their birth right and they are the one to decide who get power but the truth is Nigeria is disintegrating whether you like it or not . SE is not interested in the power tussles with any region. Shettima And the rest of the politicians from the north should be ashamed of themselves
Wrong approach.
This is the same foolish mentality that created an avenue for another region to act as lord and master of the south.
This is what tinubu wants.
That is why the south east is getting $0.00 in the 30 billion dollars loan.

Like my igbo lecturer in PRE572 used to say, apoliticism is self defeatism.

If you like your children and the future of Igboland, you would drop this attitude and play with the highest bidder.

He should be man enough to pick up his phone and call Nnamdi Kanu and lobby him.

Where the Great Nnamdi stands is where we stand. grin
Shut up.

Nnamdi kanu is the reason why inferiors can say with all authority that igbos don't deserve to be president.

How will Nnamdi kanu help your children unborn?
Will it help you get more in the Nigerian plate?

Unless biafra will be created tomorrow, the existence of Kanu is at cross purpose with igbo interests.

I don't know why this is too complicated for some people to see.

Business sense is different from common sense.

Igbos need to play their cards right.

There is nothing wrong with abandoning the 2023 presidency for the future.

What is important is to ensure that whoever wins in 2023 owes the south east a debt of gratitude.

And that means voting for the strongest candidate regardless of any zoning formula or party allegiance.

Igbo should just forget the thoughts of become president of this country. Its almost every day that north keep telling them to not think of becoming Nigeria president.
That is not what the article said, you confusionist.

Even if what you said was the truth which it is not, I doubt if igbo votes world be going to your candidate.

Any northern candidate that promise them tangible results gets free igbo votes.

Many still 'gets carried away' by his queens English and purported intelligence though as CBN governor he's no match for Soludo.

And he's very likely being propped up for 2023 presidential election cos from ongoing permutations and SW opposition to a northern 2023 president the powers that be in the north will need to bring forth a cerebral candidate that'll be acceptable to southerners and being an economist too Sanusi fits those requirements and with an SE/SS VP they'll hope he'll get the needed support from the two regions which will in the north permutation should help checkmate Tinubu or any other Yoruba candidate.

Anyway na siddon and look I dey smiley
