djon78:The South East have won. They have managed to clean out a lot of bad eggs and prevented terrible Politicians from winning seats. It need to continue in subsequent elections. Clean house. If Nigeria rots, atleast your own house will be clean. |
raskymonojendor:We have passed this junction. Nobody in the apc or pdp today has the integrity of Peter obi. It takes a level of good reputation to make the kind of impact that obi just made. Infact, there is no other Igbo man in politics right now that can do the same. It doesn't matter if he left pdp. When he was in pdp, did he soiled himself with sharp and corrupt practices? If he did, the apc and pdp would have used it against him long ago. You have voted for a crook. Deal with it. |
djon78:He is a low-life. People that have nothing in reality. They have lost out in the game of Life. Tribalism is their only succour now. |
Ogun state cannot enjoy good economy and Imo will suffer a bad economy. It's not possible. What will touch one, will touch all. |
2mch:They voted out tribally and yet umahi, kalu and other Igbo big wigs lost? Bring out orji uzor kalu and let us see if they will vote for him. If they wanted to vote tribally, they would have voted for atiku. That is the argument of the Igbo pdp Bloc and it is true. Voting for Atiku would have been the sensible tribal politics. Atiku would have won. Anyway, we are all in this Nigeria. We will spend the same naira, buy the same fuel, go to the same markets and enjoy the same macroeconomics. |
Lekomax:His Yoruba people are in akwaibom working in Exxon mobil. It's always the low-lives. People with no future. By the time he gets what is Looking for,he would know that nobody has a monopoly of tribalism. |
When you go to the market to buy rice and beans and tomato, please tell them your tribes man is the president. You will get a 50% discount. |
If you are emotionally attached to your tribe, religion or political leaning to the point that truth and justice become secondary considerations, your education is useless. Your exposure is useless. If you cannot reason beyond petty sentiments, you are a liability to mankind. -Chuba Okadigbo. A lot of you, your education and the education of your parents was a waste. A disgrace to humanity. |
God bless Edo and Delta State. Progressive people. We have a dog in the fight in the name of ifeanyi okowa and Adams oshiomhole. But we were smart enough to know that our interest will not be served in a coalition of corrupt men. We refuse to drink poison served in our regional cup. We are better than them. |
Ajuwon lo. |
Ifeanyi okowa lost his state, lost his village, lost his local govt. My people are not tribalists. We are a sophisticated people. We are progressives. We don't do unproftitable "my-brother" politics. We are educated, we are civilised. We are better than them. |
PotatoSalad:And they will suffer for it. I no dey pity anybody again. People wey their papa no get one kobo dey follow big man do tribalism and big party politics. If everybody start doing tribalism, we no go see their brake lights. |
raskymonojendor:If every Nigerian is vulnerable to corruption, then we shouldn't bother with elections na. 350 billion naira inec allocation can be put to better use. Just ask the richest people in every locality to take over representation instead of doing this expensive elections. Yeye talk. The same mentality that made people like you vote for crooks when there are credible alternatives on the table. |
Mark my words. The most effective national assembly members would be those from the labour party. No baba so pe to influence them. No dark interests. The places that voted for them would benefit, while you will keep playing tribal politics in your shitthole. |
bakynes:The apc and pdp are rotten systems. Not everyone there is bad, but the parties are rotten. The vast majority are corrupt elite. People that would do anything to win elections. If he is that good, then attah should move over to a credible party and try again. The people will vote for him. And you will enjoy his full potential under labour. In labour, he is not going to be defending dark interests in the name of party supremacy. He Will never be as effective under the apc or pdp. |
Lagosians are paying through their nose just to transport themselves in Lagos because touts are making life difficult for Yoruba drivers. Yoruba touts under the control of a Yoruba man. Desmond Elliot the failure built a dilapidated wooden bridge and framed a huge Billboard to show his face in surulere. Even the billboard was more expensive than the wooden bridge he built. That is what a Yoruba man did for surulere. Even me a delta man will do much better than that for the people of that place. |
Minjim:All the yorubas you voted for in 2019, how have they benefited your life, you simpleton? Did agberos not slap you yesterday in oshodi? You are not well. |
There is no way you are goiy to beat gbaja to the same ticket in the apc or beat Ikpeazu to a ticket in the pdp. But you can win under labour. Don't be stupid. Vote for your interests. Tribalism will not save you. |
It was some people today winning big under the labour Party. It can be you tommorow. But i guarantee that it can never be you under the apc or pdp. Be smart. Vote for labour. |
In labour party, the children of nobody are winning legislative positions. You don't need to know anybody to win. Okada riders, traders, teachers are winning under the labour Party. That is the Nigeria we want. To build a critical mass of the common people in elective positions. That is the labour ideal. And if you are smart, you would look at the bigger picture. If your father is not a corrupt millionaire politician, you have no hope under the apc or pdp. It makes no sense to fight for them. |
bakynes:We need a credible third force. Look at the bigger picture. Apc and pdp are party of demons. They cannot develop any country. Labour party is the only alternative. |
BeanX:Labour party have been completely rigged out by Tinubu. But even with that, labour party still won alimosho, oshodi and many other former apc zones. This is a movement of the people. The governorship election would be a fight to finish. Labour party against the apc. I feel for banky, but this is a game for the long run. We need to look at the big picture. We need labour party to win and build a lot of consensus to push on in Future elections. There is hope for people like banky in the labour party. |
Ireti kingibe a Yoruba just won the FCT federal senatorial seat under labour. Young people all over the country are winning seats in the National assembly through labour party. Anybody lucky enough to get the labour form. I am even regretting why not getting a labour party form in delta state. But some useless people on nairaland in the late 30s and 40s still eating their mothers food are busy playing with tribalism. Tribalism that cannot get them a liter of fuel for cheap. Tribalism that cannot save them from the hands of agberos. Continue to dey play. Your children will ask you what you have done with your life. |
NwekereNdokl:Continue playing with suffering. Your Yoruba ethnic bigotry will feed you when the time comes. |
LegendHero:That is exactly what we have been telling you guys. If the north is United, then they only need one southern Bloc which they did in 2015. The south west is not special in that regard. They may decide to use the south south or even the south east in future elections. And that is because the South is not United due to greed. Anyway, the north is split in this election. |
spiralwedge:Don't worry. That superiority complex will get even higher as the gap between the south and the north increases. You think you are doing me? The south will be fine whichever way. We are educated people, we will always maintain a certain standard of living. And that is good enough for me. I don't give a fuckkkk about anywhere else. May your Tinubu solve your problems. |
millionboi2:No need to follow am drag anything. Buhari is going to leave major economic mess for the next govt to clean-up. Make tinubu start his bulaba policies of printing naira like he said. The inflation that will come will make the devil himself pity Nigerians. I will be here for it. ![]() |
God will punish anybody that will tell us not to laugh, or to support a useless govt. Na God punish that una mouth. We are here to watch a movie with our popcorn. A 4yrs long movie. |
The whole World has analysed the candidates and pick the best chance for a proper reform that will benefit the vast majority. But one Ali in jigawa that knows nothing beyond quaranic writing thinks he is more politically aware than the rest of us.? It's okay. |
The next four years would be a period of laughter for me. I have no emotion to give, no loyalty to any Politician or govt, and no concern. Just sit down look mode and pure cruise. Let us see the foolishness of people in pure display. |
spiralwedge:They are politically in the 1800s, yet they have more human developmental index than your region will ever have in a millennium. What is the use of your political wisdom if you can't differentiate between a crook and a better candidate? What is the aim of politics? To have a region as economically and socially backward as the North? A region with an absymally decrepit human developmental index in all areas. The whole world is going one way, but you think you guys in the backward desert are smarter than the rest of the world.? This election was clear even to a 2yr old baby. You think your religious and ethnic politics will help you? You have voted against your own interests, but you don't know yet. Or maybe in a corner of your mind, you know. We will be here to see it. And we will laugh. Just pray tinubu performs. Lord knows, I will laugh a lot of people to scorn. |
Yamiriflathead:That division you are looking for, you will get it. And it won't be one-sided, I promise you. |
