A lot of people in Lagos don't really know how bad electricity is in Nigeria. The bulk of Nigeria's power is dispersed to Lagos, Abuja and a few states with vested interests and it gives that illusion of stable electricity. I traveled to a major town in Delta State, and for the the three days I was there , I did not see electricity. It was generator all through. |
neyohh:That is besides the point. Electricity has worsened. From -2 to -10. That is the main issue. This current Federal govt is highly incompetent beyond anything we have ever seen. Even if you devolve electricity, the Federal govt will still need to play a critical role. |
Electricity is not rocket science. That was how these smooth orator bamboozled Nigerians in 2015. Highly overrated nonsense. A lot of Yoruba politicians are just smooth orators. All talk no substance. The vice president is also in the same boat. A lot of nice words but will not really solve anything. And Nigerians are not yet sophisticated enough to know what they really need. |
Minister of darkness, babatunde Raji fashola. Congratulations. Governance no be by mouth. APC congratulations. I no blame una |
Web development is over populated. 90% of them are not very good. It takes a lot of time and discipline to become good at programming. |
Coronabirus:He can join a consortium of investors and buy it. Manchester United is very profitable. If I were an investor that is the club I would buy. I would milk it to the bare bones and maximise profits. The only Marquee player Manchester United would get would be from the championship. ![]() |
AroleOduduwa2:Because he is still playing and earning crazy money. Once Messi leaves football, he won't be as rich as any of Tony elumelu's top CEOs in 10 years. |
Somebody should tell him to concentrate his entrepreneurship scheme in Nigeria instead of Africa. Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world. We need to massively empower lots and lots of potential entrepreneurs. Streamlining the Tony elumelu foundation to Nigerians alone would mean thousands of more people would be entered into the program. Person wey never Belle full no dey feed dog. |
fedorahat:Yes, the situation was dire, but it wouldn't have been as dire as this. Not under the PDP. |
Ghana is enjoying what Nigeria got between 2010-2014. The FDI was so great that Lagos and Ogun indigenes were busy spiting the rest of us and the PDP on the investments they were getting. They forgot that Federal policy drives foreign investments, when they were busy voting for the APC. Well, they should go and get those foreign investments from Ghana. |
If Buhari had done nothing to the economy. Absolutely nothing at all, Just left the economy the way he met it, Nigeria would be in a much better place now. That is how useless his efforts has been. |
plaindealer:And the solution to looting is to bastardise the economy with useless and unstable policies.? Isn't it a shame that despite the huge looting, every indices of the economy then was significantly better than what it is now? Isn't it a big shame.? What the APC should have done was to reduce looting, divert more resources to infrastructure, introduce more efficiency into the system, and let the macroeconomic policy of the PDP keep running itself. It would have been great. Instead, Buhari fixed politicians into critical federal position, turned nepotism to state policy, shut the borders, wage war on Nigerian fintech, and many other economic abominations. |
If una value una future for dis country, go and beg Peter obi to run as president and vote for him. Nobody else in the current political space have the capacity to fix the humongous waste and general incompetence in this country. |
Confirmedzombie:You have a useless striker like Tammy Abraham that is even looking for wage increase, and you are condemning kelechi. You funny o. |
He is 100% times better than Tammy Abraham. He could be a second striker when we offload Tammy Abraham and get a Marquee striker. |
A man that was consistently losing elections for three good times. And some people went and give him their Future and that of their children. |
How is it my business? As long as there is sun and moon, there would always be baby mamas in the land. It's a self sustaining system that will continue till Jesus comes. |
May God not give us wives like this Sha. Some women I know go scatter everywhere just to unravel the Truth. Good wives. |
Ode. Instead of you to ask for full investigation and let the chips fall where they may. Abokii na abokii. That is why I don't pity the so called Northern Christians. They are the vessels that the fulani North use to perpetuate their control. Look at the National assembly. The whole North including their Christian lawmakers were united in quashing the proposed investigation. |
happney65:You have a valid point. The supply of labour is too much in Nigeria. It has driven the value down. |
It is the same way dangote cement is dirt cheap in foreign countries. Nigerian companies make fortune here in Nigeria, and then give the rewards of our labour to foreign countries. What Nigerians should be enjoying, it would be going to other countries. I can't understand. |
Built2last:It is becaue Nigerians accept everything. That is why the country is degrading. Nobody is testing these things in court. |
If you Don dey fucck woman, dump her with care. Make she no go change am for you. |
Nigeria is at its Lowest ebb right now. |
My Cousin has left Nigeria today. Exceptionally brilliant Medical Doctor. A lose to Nigeria. |

WesternOligarch:Yoruba women are very capable. They are rude, very snobbish and loud, but can be very capable when they are educated. I Stan Yoruba women. |
I in every 5 African is a Nigerian. And yet Nigeria does not account for top 7 FDI inflow on the continent. Then you know something is wrong. Seriously wrong. |
Ghana just launched the largest steel plant in West Africa. Purely Indian led Private investment. The market is here in Nigeria. The foreign investments are not. Policy gap. |
In Nigeria, the default behavior of the Federal govt towards crypto is that of Yahoo Yahoo, while in govts like Ghana, Rwanda, the FG there are actively encouraging crypto investments. These are not oyibo Countries now. These are fellow African countries dusting Nigeria in sophistication and competence. |
Nigerians are smart. Incredibly smart. With an above average govt that would get out of our way, Nigerians alone can power Nigeria to the top 10 global economy. Imagine what a Peter obi govt would do for businesses like hers. Many African countries with decent govts like Rwanda, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Morroco, wished they had this level of entrepreneur innovative skills in their own citizens. They would move mountains. |
Let us Know when she cooks edikanikong soup with home-made pounded yam. |
