The summary of it all is; cut the nice girl/guy routine. It gets you nowhere. Stop being excessively nice, stop trying to make people like you. It's shitty and energy zapping. If there's something you want/deserve, by all means, go for it. Don't let it pass you by just because you'd rather be pleasant than be YOU. 1 Like |

In reference to your last 'unsettling fact', the thread creator and readers will definitely die someday. Death is a debt to nature due which we all must pay. So, no need asking who's going first. That said, let's make friends with death. |

Lerrus lif it ~~~~~ You know, I'm baffled there really isn't any relevant literature on the exact origin, migration routes, settlements patterns of the Alagos and causes of their migration to their present settlement. 1 Like |

WORDWORLD:A man of many words (No offence). It took me two readings to get the purport of the mention. That said, only a small percentage of Nigerian youths know what 'tantric sex' actually is. What they are familiar with is the recreational sex. Preach on, Sire. Tell them about tantric love. Tell them it isn't sex alone. It's love, it's life. |

^^^^^^ Isn't it funny how we justify our shortcomings by hand picking certain illustrations from the Bible. When you think you've seen it all, you'll see another kind of twisted logic to explain how it is okay to roam the street n.a.k.e.d. Now, the Bible condones public nudity, huh? 1 Like |

The US-based Nigerian 'wrapper', Speed Darlington is one stupid 'muSICKcian'. His "bang dida dang" has to be the worst song ever. It's insipid. I downloaded it two nights ago. After listening to it, I was torn between tears and laughter. Good thing I dont listen to the radio anymore. If I did, I'd practically break my leg running to change the radio station once I hear "When I take a step, you hear Bang I take another step, you hear DangDang" |

Rap Battles / Re: Who Is The BEST Nigerian Rapper?let's Discuss by Cuddlebugie(f): 9:33pm On Aug 13, 2017 |
Well, the term 'best rapper' is relative.... My best Nigerian lyricists of all time is - Olusegun Babatunde, popularly known as Mode 9. The legendary lyricst who won The Headies Lyricist on the Roll seven times. Mode 9 was that rapper who did it big in the Nigerian hip-hop world when it wasn’t cool to be a rapper; when there wasn’t as much success as it is now in the industry. From ‘Contradiction’, to ‘Elbow Room’, ‘Cry’, ‘Ogun Isoye’, ‘Nigerian Girls’,‘Lagos State of Mind’, ‘Africa’ ‘My Skin Is Black’ and his latest, 'insulin', mode 9 showed what real rap is. It is safe to say he is the naija god of rap..............Yeah, his music hasn't brought him much endorsements/ success but that doesn't make him any less of a legend.......It's such a pity Nigerians prefer noise/garbage to good rap. 9 Likes 1 Share |

I'm not surprised those boys up there are frothing at the mouth. How does rolling up your sleeves to help the woman you vowed to cherish, have and hold make you less of a man, kwanu? What do we call this? Sexism or sheer ignorance? Healthy marriage is teamwork . Once married, you two become allies who HELP each other out, cover one another’s weaknesses and reinforce each other’s strengths. 4 Likes |
