but academic achievement doesn't define greatness u know
That's an irrefutable fact but that still doesn't mean we all want the same things in life.

Story story.

The last two departmental colleagues of mine who said that are now married to two illiterate pastors (Surprising because I finished my BSc in 2015). Women will forever be attracted to success. Everything else is secondary or does not matter.

So many celebrities out there who never even finished secondary school, yet you see thousands of educated Nigerian women professing love for them on twitter and Facebook etc. Yet they reject men with even PhDs.

All these because of the gap in success.
Well, that's your opinion............
Now, read mine (which I am very well entitled to). Just because your friends and every woman around you got married to illiterates doesn't mean I will. I am EDUCATED and I'll only date someone who is as or more educated than I am.
It is pretty aggravating when people like you scoff at ladies who have no wish to date uneducated men and dismiss them as being snobs. Don't we all have dating preferences?

My primary concern is the values and morals of the person . Though education is important , it is not a deal breaker.......

That was me trying to be funny.

I can date a man with lower educational qualification than me (a first degree holder, that is). What I'd never do is date an illiterate. Who doesn't need a partner who is going to be able to challenge and stimulate him/her intellectually? I am not saying that anyone without a degree cannot be intelligent - of course they can. My narrow focus is on whether that person would be a good match for me as a partner.

Some people may say women like me have unrealistic standards and that it is a pretty shallow way to judge someone's potential by their educational qualification but still, to each his own.

It has happened already, what we can do about it is what matters now.
It starts with the new parents !
I have only two boys and they must learn how to take part in the housewirk or who else gonna do it.
God bless you. Teaching children responsibility through chores is a wonderful learning experience as they are given the opportunity to contribute to a group in which they belong, care for themselves and people around them. Our girls and boys should have same responsibilities and grow to meet equal challenges so they learn they are capable of doing anything they want to accomplish!

By the way, your boy is ADORABLE, no joke. Beautiful skin, bright eyes..... the kind any mother would pray for. You must be a proud mama of a fine boy.

Well, I fear greatly the month of September not because of some irrational and baseless beliefs but because it brings me closer to December grin. December is the only month I get to sit with my grandma and talk about the evil spirit that has prevented me from bringing my 'that man' home cheesy

DID YOU JUST WRITE "IF I WERE A MAN I WOULD.. "
THIS IS PLAIN SELF DECEIT.

I'M SURE IF I PUT UP A PICTURE OF A MAN LOOKING AS RETARRDED AS THIS GIRL YOU WOULD HAVE EASILY JUMPED PAST THIS THREAD. undecided
I know during your formative years you've probably heard that words in uppercase letters are harder to read. I can't help but think you are 'shouting' at me because I stole your fountain pen.

Now, to your quote, that girl is BEAUTIFUL. Beauty is relative, right? I don't think she looks retardded. Trash the baggy shorts. Give her a make over and boom, you have yourself a beautiful lady. Once again, she does not look RETARDDED. smiley

Romance / Re: What Does It Take To Be A Husband To A Female Medical Doctor? by Cuddlebugie(f): 7:45pm On Sep 01, 2017
Let me tell you what it's like to marry a female doctor . I have one as a friend, so, listen....... You are entering a world of biology and sheer intelligence, so handle with care!!! Get yourself prepared for late night calls, last minute cancellations (in the case of an emergency). You can't eat junk food (when you are with her grin). Don't get too used to seeing her face because you won't be seeing it that much.

That said, what's her speciality? Some have very regular hours and very few emergencies while ohers have lots of emergencies and irregular schedules.

Music/Radio / Re: Which Song Or Songs Did You Fall So Deep In Love With This Week? by Cuddlebugie(f): 9:18pm On Aug 31, 2017
Flavour's 'most high'. I saw the video for the first time today. I'm not a fan of flavour but I can't help it. I just love the video/song. I fell in love with the part Semah, the young blind boy, sang: ‘You tell me say make I no worry, that everything is gonna be okay. You’re the father to the fatherless… the miracle working God…‘. To think a fine young boy with such an amazing voice won't know what morning or night is makes me thank the Almighty for the life I have. I have been listening to the song all day. It's my song for the new month.

Sorry I bored you all with my tale

We just have to know when to stop. This is so not funny. He is a man, just as you are. Nobody wants the stigma of being thought unattractive but what choice does the poor man have ? He's a dwarf not an animal. Everyone, dwarf or giant, tall in size or short in size has the right to be happy.

Romance / Re: Does Love Dies? by Cuddlebugie(f): 6:24am On Aug 31, 2017
Everything eventually dies if it's not KEPT alive. It's the kind of death that differs. I'd die if I don't breathe, eat and rest well. Love also dies... Better put, it gradually fades. Love can get converted into indifference.... A state where the existence or non existence of the other person just doesn't matter. Feelings are a form of energy which needs to be channelised!! When people change, their feelings change......

Divorce is alien to Yoruba royalty. The Ooni can marry as many wives as possible but sending her away is against tradition.
The Ooni Risa is the husband of one wife. He can't be a husband to two or more women since he's a true 'christian'. grin
