Most lawyers in ilorin will charge 10% of the amount you paid for the land.
There is also a location opposite nasfat village. About 3minutes drive from the express way where land is within the range 100k-150k.

I base in ilorin, the best u could do is move come to ilorin, u can get land from 150k upward from some locals, danced the land and use it as farmland till u are ready to start building

10 years ago , A plot of land in an outskirts of Ilorin was sold for 100k.

Except the person is talking about farm land or about prices 10 years ago. Be careful with them.

1. Not sure you can get a land of less than N250k in Ilorin. So be careful.

2. You don't live in Ilorin but do you have close family member there? It is very difficult to buy land by relying just on agent in a town you don't live. You need a relative on ground to test some things.

I also advise against saving cash. You may save for a couple of months to be able to buy land. Once you have land, get a good architect for a decent plan (which costs less than 100k, did mine 50k in 2009), put the plan beside your bed, so that when you want to go to bed almost every night, take it and look at teh house on paper, it will motivate you; start by committing 50-80k from your salary to it every month. It will interest you to know that 50k will buy 300 blocks. In months you have some other commitment, no problem in leaving it for that month. Before you know it, within 2 years or even less, you will have a house of your own.

Well in Ilorin,Kwara State you will still get lands in good location, with half a Million.
Highbrow areas like the G.R.A between 8million to 15million per plot.
Road side land in highly developed places between 3 to 20mill depending on location.
Also farmland's from 100,000per acre to like 600,000per acre.
Real estate is a good form of investment both short term and long term.
But make sure you are buying from a reputable agent or company with good track record.
Make sure all documents are properly investigated and vetted.
