Is the admin of that group not the Egbema Rivers state guy by the name Ofiafuluagu? Is he an Ikwerre? I don't think so.
Unless he isn't the admin.
How many Ikwerres are in that group, cos mind you, I'm a member of that group too. The view Ikwrrres there only come there to bash ele isoma greedy people who came to steal their land.

Please, I will pass. A good friend is better than a bad brother who doesn't recognize brotherhood.

I respect the view Ikwerre honest people out there, we should accept them in our midst and even offer them posts, but our outlook towards Ikwerre as a group shouldn't be tainted by emotional non existent brotherhood, it should be strictly a pragmatic approach where Ikwerre should be considered a distinct group out for it on interest.

We work with them if our interests align, nothing more, nothing less.

Again, my own opinion.
You have about three admins in the said group. I could be wrong though.

TRUE. IKWERRE ARE NOT IGBO. NOT INDUSTROUS, NO CULTURE, DONT VALUE MARRIAGE, DONT KNOW BUSINESS, DO NOT TRAVEL LIKE IGBOS(INFACT ITS A PHOBIA), VERY LAZY, DONT HAVE INGENUITY, LACK INDUSTRY, (GIVE AN IKWERE MAN 100 NAIRA AND HE WILL NEVER THINK OF ANYTHING THAN BITTLE BEER, ASHAWO OR NAIRABET).LACK EDUCATION, INFACT THERE IS NO TRAIT OF IGBO D.N.A IN AN IKWERE MAN
What you just listed is not peculiar to the Ikwerre man alone. Its visible in all tribes. Stop the stereotypes. its wrong.

That will be a humble pie too great to chew. I don't see any way in the next 100 years Ikwerre people can move back to the Igbo mainstream. They will need to exhume a lot of ghosts to do that, especially the abandoned property ghost.
The Ikwerres were not involved in the abandoned properties saga, rather the Ijaws. Get your facts right. Are you aware that some of them also lost out in the event?

That is not going to happen, It will only happen not out of genuine brotherhood on the part of Ikwerre, but out of their own selfish interests and survival instincts , and truth be said, we should avoid that happening, if we still want sea access.
Ikwerre should remain distinct, while we embrace those of them that embraced us.

We shouldn't allow small group like Ikwerre play on our emotions to secure their own interests.

Ikwerre needs PH, it's the only city they have. But , do the Igbo really need PH? We already have many Urban centers and growing towns like Orlu, Okigwe, Nsukka, etc that can easily grow into big cities with good planning.
What we need is sea access, having PH will not guarantee us that. Bonny river is still controlled by the Ijaws, Ikwerre has no coastline.

This is my personal opinion though.

On Ndoki, I'm well aware of that development,i am a member of Ndoki facebook page too. But 4/5 of Ndoki land is already in Abia state and the Igbo ethnicity loyalty there is already too strong. We don't have to worry about Ndoki, the Ijaws are fighting a losing battle there , they only stand a chance with Oyigbo, but the rest of Ndoki in Abia already comfortable with the Igbo tag will keep Oyigbo people safe.
As long as 4/5 of Ndoki people continue being answerable to Umuahia and Aba politically , the Igbo identity crisis will never take roof there.
Access to the sea is important, but one cannot over rule the act of genuine repentance. An Ikwerre guy is one of the admin of Proudly Rivers Proudly Igbos, and their objective is to unite the entire Igbo speaking groups in Rivers State...
Some of them understood the Nigerian politics of divide and rule, and are working with a sincere mind to correct these errors. In my opinion, its important we leave the door of genuine reconciliation open. Blood is ticker than water. Onye'aghale nwaneya.
My opinion though.

I don't even think we need to meddle into the Ijaw-Ikwerre PH ish.

What we need is a sea access, Ikwerre can't give us that, as that route pass through Bonny area, currently controlled by Ijaws . Even with Ikwerre, we would still have the Obuaku current bottle neck. We would need to negotiate international treaties to bypass those bottlenecks.

Ijaws themselves are cornering the entire coastline of the better south, from Edo (Gelegele) to Akwaibom( they are claiming Ibeno and Eastern Obolo, as Andoni is currently aligned to Ijaw).

They are spread too thin and can't maintain those coastlines post Nigeria with their meagre population and bitter determined neighbors.

I had sat down and analyzed these variables and found out that we are better off staying off the Ijaw move for PH.

If we play our cards well and stay off this Ikwerre-Ijaw issue, we can make use of those conditions to secure for ourselves the sea access we need.

Ndiigbo need to let the Ikwerres be. It's strategic to do so. Ijaws are not our enemies, anymore than Ikwerres are, emotionalism need to give way to pragmatism for the Igbo nation to progress.
Peeps are not emotionally hindered from using us to play games to get what they want, we should also be ruthless enough to use peeps to play games to get what we want.
This is survival 101, and it's about time Ndiigbo started taking a crash program on it.
What about if the Ikwerre decides to move back to the Igbo nation mainstream? Are you saying we should reject them? Its scary the way Ijaws are claiming any community that is close to the coastline with distorted facts. Their recent claim to Ndokis is something that should not be taken for a joke. On their FB page, one was already claiming that the Ndokis are the offshoot of the Kolokuma people, the original settlers of Bonny.

To be honest, I'm not sure why people are bothered by it. In a quest for land and resource control, their elders for decades have successfully fed the Ikwerre masses a steady diet of Igbophobia and they are well indoctrinated in it. Self-determination of their identity is their inalienable right. Continuing the dispute over their identity only feeds their fears of Igbo imposition and dominance as well as feeding their feelings of self-importance. If Ikwerres were an Igboid group in poor, rural communities in Benue or Ebonyi denying their Igbo heritage, we wouldn't give a shiiit, and they'll be less likely to to aggressively deny their Igboid roots in the irrational fear we want to steal their land and "oyel".

Props to the political foresight of the North. We love to insult the Northerners as illiterates, but their deft political manoeuvres have successfully balkanized the East of the country. This division in the South is why the North will continue to be the dominant political players in Nigeria.
The Brit sold the idea to them. The British are masters of divide and rule. Most Ikwerre people don't deny their Igbo heritage, its just that they don't like shouting about it like others. From Igwuruta upwards, most don't even know about this Bini migration theory, except of recent.

Fact remains that after all said and done, the North can never remain the same again. There is no telling of the fact that this foolish mistake made by the so-called northern youths has injected some senses into the Igbo man.

If you hear any one among them still clamouring in favour of Nigeria, it is in a bid to buy more time so he could comfortably plan his relocation from some Godforsaken areas of this country. No amount of plea can avert the Holocaust effect it will have on their already south-proned IGRs.

And after the economy in the north finally nose-dived, then you guys will head back to the medieval age that you belong.

kufre2010:
Igbo must leave the north was a decoy; the real target is the impending Yoruba presidency- Now, let's explain it out.

The whole idea is to cause a civil crisis by chasing the Igbo's around in inner northern communities, this will then lure the military in, to carry out a coup, and end the Osinbajo nightmare.

The northerners have recently lost all their strategic allies (middle belt, Niger delta and Yoruba, due to their serial abuse) and Yoruba are poised to, and will constitutionally take Over from a sick and incapacitated Buhari.

They need a civil crisis to bring in the military and hold on to power, waste some time, before planning a fresh democratic process that will favour them yet again. A kind of reset button. This must be the reason behind the recent coup rumours, and in testing that water, they realized it will be unacceptable to the west, as military intervention is fading across the world. But if you throw in a law and order breakdown, it will be justified.

Remember, Nigeria military is an all northern affair presently.

If their plans succeed and there's a civil crisis via the "igbo must go crisis", they expect the international community to even plead with the military to step in and restore normalcy.

Make no mistake about it, the northerners can't threaten to scatter Nigeria, because they need the present state of things like oxygen. So, this is a clear classic decoy
You do have a point, but why use Igbos?

Sir, 1st respect! I respect your perspective.

Now hear me.

I'm Igbo but not IPOB member.
I don't like Kanu's approach.

....but, Kanu, to me has exposed a huge farce that had been kept underneath while we Igbos were being completely foolish.

Kanu's ways has lead to the Arewa Youths giving Igbos quit notice. Withdraw or not, the damage has been done and it's for anyone who cares to learn the right lesson.

How can anyone be given quit notice in any part of a Country he claims to be citizen of?!!!!!
....And everybody, even governors and leaders are treating the matter with kid glove.

The other day, it was His Roya Majesty, Deji of Akure that told Igbos in Akure that they were not of equal standing in Akure land and recently in Bayelsa, Igbos had grovel before local youths to be able to come out of their homes. Igbos are locked in arguments about their status in Lagos with Obama of Lagos commanding any Igbo who darned to vote outside what he wanted to die in the Lagos lagoon.

Anyone still investing heavily outside Igboland will have himself or herself to blame.

We have been told clearly what Nigeria is and will remain for a long time

You get time to dey read that guy nonsense. Igbos in the North should return back home, whether the quit notice was withdrawn or not.

No wahala call me whatever, the truth is you haven't gone to Ebonyi state before, until you go there then you'll understand. Ebonyi indigenes are minority in their own land, if there was a referendum of any kind, ebonyi won't vote YES because it would not want to break up.

I said in my post that I now see the reason why if you tell another igbo man you're from Ebonyi, you aren't for real.
How do you mean Ebonyians are minority in their own land? What is the population ratio of Hausa/Fulani compare to that of Ezza, Izzi, Ikwo, Okposi, Amasari, Eda etc, residing in the capital city?
For the facts that you have large concentration of Northerners in some areas doesn't mean they own the State. Are you saying, that because Igbos are in large numbers in Sabon Gari, the State is now theirs? A large concentration of non-indigents cannot determine the direction of the State in the future. Should the call for referendum become a reality, niga, we are rooting for Biafra. Herdsmen terrorism is one major reason, most Ebonyians are embracing the Biafran call wholeheartedly.
And don't also forget that we have a large concentration of our people, Ebonyians, residing in the North. Don't you think that their coming back will double up our population to cover up any area of lapses?

Its boldly glaring on the map that the South-East is land-locked! River port you can have and thats for transportation and small cargo ships.

Stop claiming the South-South!

It will be easier for Arsenal to win the EPL than for Anambra or Abia to have a functioning river port!

I'll go straight to the point because I don't like beating around the bush.

After my travel to Ebonyi state I have come to realise many things.

First that Ebonyi state is not a biafran land.
in fact the people who call themselves Igbos living in Ebonyi state are strangers in that state.

If I was blindfolded in my trip to Ebonyi state then I would have thought I was in Bauchi state or katsina state.... A NORTHERN STATE.

I'm saying this out of my observation that

Ebonyi can never be a biafran land.

Ebonyi will never be a biafran land.

There are only four states in the so called biafran struggle.

I don't want to say much but you already know what I'm saying.

This is the reason why other Igbos are always skeptical about people from Ebonyi, and I can tell you that the last rally at Ebonyi state were not Ebonyi state indigenes but people from other states, and Dave Umahi the Governor of Ebonyi said that they are not biafran and will not allow the rally although it happened.

Guys I'm just telling you what I saw, you won't believe me... Ebonyi is a NORTHERN STATE.

forget about it's location in the map.

I support one Nigeria, I also support restructuring and secession too.
Mumu don travel enter Benue say na Ebonyi you go. Ebonyi indigens na them carry IPOB for head more than even other Igbos. I'm from Ebonyi, and I'm in support of Biafra. Go sit your nyash somewhere abeg, oluku.

Wen the capital was moved from lag to north, they excused it as being necessary. Wen Abiola died, they claimed he was being too head strong and dat obasanjo was used to compensate them. Fulani kills them at the slightest provocation, they say igbos must learn to respect their host. Their oba goes to prison for defending his people against fulani, they say the matter is in court. The only time these guys express outrage over a national issue is wen the problem is btw them and peace loving, very educated igbos. These guys dont realise that hausa-fulani is the singular reason nigeria is backward, not igbo man who is progressive and business minded.
