OP, remove Efik, Ibibio, and others from the Biafran quest. This article would have been beatiful, if you had not dragged those haters into it. They don't like you. Just be fuvcking realistic. These people have shown more hate to Igbos than any group recently. Go to their Facebook page, and observe for yourself. you'll be choked by the amount of hate emanating from the so called Akwa/Cross cousins.
Be wise. The Ijaws, have even, shown more restraints and understanding than these group you erroneously called our cousins. You guys have to face reality. Biafra should be excluded to only Igbos, with an open door policy to any group that is willing to join. Do your best to make Igboid S'South to key into the movement wholeheartedly, and Biafra will be a matter of counted days.
On Bendel republic, you noticed that they have already balkanzied Aniomaland, into Ndokwa, Ubulu Uku, Ika, etc, for easy domination and assimilation. That is one area all Igbos must put hand on deck to check. If you keep calm, what befell the igbos in Rivers State may repeat itself in Delta North.

It is in times of adversity that the true quality of a person comes out.

While Kebbi is planting rice to boost its revenues, Ogun is providing more incentives for investors, a state like Imo is talking of legalizing prostitution just because they want to tax olosho.

Unfortunately, this warped view is shared by kidnappers, armed robbers and most criminals caught with drugs.
The ones with narcotics are usually Igbos caught with businesses as fronts but dealers in narcotics. Once caught, they blame recession.

Get innovative and stop glorifying crimes and criminals.
The day you come to this forum and don't mention Igbo, that day the Pacific ocean will dry up. An impossible expectation.

[s]Going by your distorted definition of "nation". Go look at Somalia, its a nation by definition, same language, religion culture etc still they went through a bloody civil war. Stop focusing on what divide us, focus on what unites us. If yoruba's should say what you are selfishly saying now, how do you think Ojukwu will even exist when his father made his millions in enterprising and business conducive Lagos... Show some gratitude and understand that we all need one another. Nigeria wants and needs the Ibos the Ibos wants and needs Nigeria, but are very stubborn and are refusing to admit it. Its like marriage with a stubborn wife that you love so much. She is stubborn so you will beat her up and then she will start crying, you then pamper her and make love to her and tell her how much you love her and that its her stubbornness making you beat her, then una go settle and make love again and on and on and on..... Our lives are yolked together, believe it, accept it and lets move forward else you will keep going round in circles.[/s]
Complete trash. We are Biafrans man. We ain't yoke together. Your claim about Lagos is not entirely true, a dysfunctional system made it so. If Nigeria is working, each region should have been an economic power house, but reverse is the case... Kanu is really messing the movement up, if not...

Kanu is personalising the Biafran struggle no doubt. His love for media attention is one factor that may end up pushing Biafra into several decades to come. Its either our leaders, I mean intellectuals among us, pick up the baton from here, and push it to its conclusive ends, or we sit our asses back and re-strategies on playing a wining Nigerian politics. Bellow is the article I did few months ago on this very issue.

https://www.nairaland.com/3870679/time-igbos-intellectuals-converge-take

This thread is in response to the issue on board. Northerners wants Igbos out, and Yorubas are not hiding their disdain for the Igbos, either. Nnamdi Kanu was vocal on Biafra, but his method and antics, attracted lots of hate and resentment from Nigerians. Perhaps, that was exactly his overall objective, attract hate and make them push Igbos out of the federation.
Respect to Nnamdi Kanu, even though I'm not in tune with his methods and ideology. Some of his ideologies on country formation is completely alien and ridiculous, especially on the "two wrapper" principle (Igbos can relate better). These, among others makes me cringe on his idea of Biafra.

Going by recent events, and threats coming from Arewa Youths, I think its high time Igbo intellectuals converge and chart the way forward. Yes, I support the idea of crafting a new entity for the Igbo people. My entire existence, I have learnt to tell myself the truth, void of pretense. Base on historical data and events over the years, I can categorically say, the Igbos are the most hated group in Nigeria. So no need to keep lying to ourselves that all is well. All is not well. Its only in Nigeria that a call to self-determination breeds hate and threat to existence. If not, why should the issue of referendum call for expulsion from Northern territory? Will Nigerians be stopped from owning properties and business in Biafra if its actualized? The answer is no. Nigerians will always be Nigerians.

Where are people like Charles Soludo, Pat Utomi, Ben Nwabueze.... etc? time to take the bull by the horn. The need to converge and create a new destiny for our future generation is now. Kanu has played his part. Visionaries and pragmatic minds need to take over and chart a new course for the Igbo nation. We need Biafra, and we need it on platter of peace and tranquility. #referendumLoading.

God Bless Ndi'Igbo
God Bless Biafra.

We should truly encourage the entrepreneurial spirit of Nigerians but Innoson isn't trying one bit. In a country where we hardly make ours and are fixated on importing, the proper thing to do is flood the market with your vehicle parts and give Nigerians just one reason why they should patronise their own. But no, a regular car design with no special highlighted features is branded a 'Pride of African Road' and pegged at N7M+ for its automatic transmission.

They are clearly not ready.
You can make your suggestion without attacking his business drive. Can you, in all honesty, survive his kind of business, in Nigeria? Lets factor on the cost of production, and the very unfriendly business environment we find ourselves, do you have what its takes to match up half of his achievement? undecided

Of cos it's not too much to ask but you only see things from your view point. Okay let me tell you the truth! Do you know it's because of oil that is making this thing prolonged? Dnt know how true but kanu said they offered him a biafra without bayelsa, rivers, C.rivers, A.ibom but he refused. If it's true, then it mean govt knows igboland will struggle big time without oil money and don't forget that agriculture is also not your strong point, so you will import.

For me, I think kanu's idea is to build biafra with crude oil money and if igbo land have more crude than what they are today they will be alone and abandon the regions they are attaching the themselves. Trust me! It is only the igbos that carry this biafra thing as do or die, the others take back stage.

Then also, the stupid Nigerian govt is also holding on to the returns that comes from these oil regions I mentioned. Giving biafra is like throwing away the major source of income for Nigeria. For me o, both parties are greedy! In an interview, kanu said biafra has gas, crude oil etc.

So if you put all these together, trust me referendum WILL NEVER BE GRANTED by this same government no matter how much you agitate. So I will advise you start preparing for war and bring your Ace-game too.

Do you know what war is? Do you think it's won on the front line alone? Allies win war in today's world oo! Kanu wants to war Britain. That's taking on USA and Israel too. China gets a lot from Nigerian govt, so doubt if they will support referendum and in African union Nigeria has more allies especially Ecowas. Today, allies fight and win war. South Korea is standing today because the US, else north Korea would have finishe them. Apart from the God factor, US I behind Israel in the m east.

Kanu is ready to engage Britain and he has their passport. Didn't hate them before oo until he started biafra agitation. Shift of interest!

This war you are so confident abt looks like a suicide mission. Of cos Iran and turkey and other moslem nations will fight for the igbos.

Me go enter Cotonu go stay for the time being. I will wish you luck but If you fight and loose, it will be devastating but if you fight and win, it will be jubilation. But with the politics of today, you need strong allies.

Kanu is smart! If you war then you will loose but keep agitating then one day maybe the world will listen. So far UN hasn't said anything publicly a that's the politics. Nigeria have reps in in UN, who does biafra have there to defend them? Or push for them?
Well said. They think war is video game or Rambo vs Viatnam. In this 21st century, who uses war as a mean to an end? The Americans possess what it takes to overrun the Korean peninsular in a day, but they won't even dare. They do understand the consequences. Is it not surprising that that these guys are the masters of diplomatic cum economic wars? This is the 21st century, where war does not favor any party. Syria is a prime example. That country may never recover from the damages that she has inflicted on herself for decades. Is that what IPOB wants to attract to Igboland? War should not even be an option, in this scenario. We've passed this route before, and we saw the carnage that follows, we understood that its not the only way to achieve independence. Kanu, if you are reading this, better be careful. angry

How sophisticated is your catchment of weapons? Where are your stockpiles? How accessible are they to your forces? How organized are your forces? What about logistic? What about food? What about access to international waters? Are you banking on the Niger Deltans, to use their tarrain? How daft that can be, since you don't want to learn from history. Oh, you want history to repeat itself? What about international partners?....
Have you seen action before? Is war truly the only medium to display bravery? Do you understand the difference between courage and stupid bravery? Do you know anything about the doctrine of war? Are you aware that this thread alone is a starting point to your savage defeat?

And the final question, what makes you think Biafra cannot be actualized through peaceful means?

You guys should be careful.
