Agriculture / Re: What High Yielding Crop Can I Plant by curiousmind11: 7:22pm On Mar 09, 2017 |
RealityShot: This is the problem with the Niger Delta people. Anything you want to do with their land, they ask for money even if it will benefit them. They rather let that land waste away. Sad! 1 Like |

Agriculture / Re: Real Facts About TRS Gari And Nigerian Garri. by curiousmind11: 10:56pm On Feb 20, 2017 |
@FirstLadyNaija, come here! Take your time oooo. You post this trash here to drive traffic to your blog that has no useful information on the subject. Give us a useful link not your blog. You may want to start from the commonest Web search for garri. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garri There is no food or food ingredients called 'gari' in any of the many Indian cultures. Stop misleading people. |
Agriculture / Re: Why Most Foreign Buyers Turn Down Nigeria Agricultural Produce; Shea Butter by curiousmind11: 6:41am On Feb 19, 2017 |
I wish we as a country can look seriously into our standards. Also, we should preach value addition, and not only farming. @OP, great post! |

Muafrika2: Our government and their agencies don't care about us. They rather please the foreigners. Then come the importers and consumers of such goods even when we have our. These guys don't not force these items on us. Our govt and their representatives hardly read the details of any trade deal they sign. Most times, these deals are skewed in favor of the foreign countries. @world1, pavore9, farmtech, can this thread grace the front page? Who knows? Someone close to relavant agencies may read and channel this injustice appropriately. 17 Likes |

sonofLuci: I guess you're either the importer of this garri or the officer that passed this through the border. Do Indians eat Garri? People patronizing these goods that we have comparative advantage are part of our problems in this country. This is sad! 100 Likes 9 Shares |
Agriculture / Re: Cost Implication For The Cultivativation Of 1 Hectare Of Cassava Production. by curiousmind11: 2:55am On Feb 17, 2017 |
coputa: From what the OP post, I can see the profit is above 50% assuming the yield is close to his predictions. What business do you think you can have above 20% profit legally? Are you aware that profit can be higher if the cassava is processed into garri or other products? Value addition is key in Agric. Don't be lazy! 18 Likes |

I just wonder how this wonderful piece was not taken to front page, or since it was posted in December of 2016, there are just few responses. This shows that even when the OP wrote the bitter truth, we still want the old ways. 2 Likes |

frostylook: Sadly, most married women do this. They will tell you every damn bad thing about their hubby/marriage only to get sympathy. If you conduct independent verification you discover it is greed and desire to keep up with the Jones that drives them. I had 2 of them until I discovered the truth. 1 Like |

If this is true, why do most women kill (physically or otherwise ) when the relationship doesn't end at the alter? Most guys will cry and move one. But women, even if they were the reason for the breakup will fight dirty, and may even make it a generational fight. Some women have to learn this and learn fast!! |
Politics / Re: Opposition Mounts As Nigeria Nears Rice Sufficiency by curiousmind11: 10:41am On Nov 04, 2016 |
For the some educated youths of this nation to believe that European countries banned Nigerian beans because we no more import rice (or about to stop) from Asian countries (China, Indonesia etc) is the height of it all. Ban on beans even started from the days of Adesina as minister, so is the effort for rice sufficiency! Sycophants will kill this Kunt3 |

Agriculture / Re: What Happened To Quail Farming? by curiousmind11: 11:32am On Oct 29, 2016 |
Sttimmy1: Like most things in Naija, it was trending. If you observe, once one person make claims of making money from a particular venture, virtually everyone wants to go into such venture. Such was the case of Quail farming. Also, the huge health claims may have been exaggerated. So when consumers didn't get the expected effects, consumption dropped. If you have a Quail farm, be dedicated and focus, you will hammer. Most real farmers, who make a living from farming hardly have time to post online. Just my layman points of view. 1 Like |
